If Steve had played him more, maybe another team would've been interested.
I've been a Kuminga apologist for awhile but even I think this is a bad idea for him.
Why would you want to play for a coach that literally just admitted, after 4 years of tinkering, that you don't fit in with his system?
Maybe this means Kerr is out soon …
Let that man go..
Please bring this guest back again after the draft 🙏🏻
Id love to see an episode with this guy where you pose actual trade ideas to him and he goes over if / how it would work
Good now ship out Kerr Draymond and Jimmy.
First time watching Eric, man he good with his stuff ❤ get him regularly in the pod man
Warriors are at 170m-ish with 9 players under contract( this is excluding bringing back gp2, loon, Kuminga).
I don't think there's a scenario where the warriors get equal or better value for JK… Maybe they can get JK to sign like a 3 year 24m-per year deal, and S&T him to the Hornets for Josh Green+ Mark Williams.
Williams has real injury concern, but atleast he rebounds, he's a 7 footer, and he's a lob threat option. Good for 16-20mins… Good option to roll in the non-steph and Draymond minutes, with JB running point. I don't think think Mark Williams will have the "IQ req" to play for Kerr in the Steph and Dray schemes 😂; so having him in the Jimmy-led 2nd units could squeeze out some real value for him with simple play designs).
Then you can hope you can get vet minimum deals done for like Melton, and whoever else is a cast away from their team 😂
It’s not easy Kerr won’t play him more minutes! Why keep him if he won’t play more minutes! That’s really between teammates and coach issue! They need to play him more ! 4 years in GS W ! Can’t figure out how he fits in the team! Unbelievable
with the cba, no one is going to pay 35. million a year for kuminga. it's kuminga's bad luck to be entering into negotiations during this cba. and not jsut him. players are going to have to accept smaller salaries. melton and/or steven adams coming here, if possible. sorry, looney and others at. the end of the bench would have to go.
In fairness to Steve, he said he can’t play him for 38 minutes. He can play 25 to 30 and GS will be fine. He should stay with GS unless for ownership reasons. The big boys will welcome him .
This will be a disaster I hate this staff so much they suck
This is the scenarios I can see
1.) nets offer a big contract and the warriors match
2.) Detroit want a sign and trade with Stewart and another player for jk and tjd
3.) warriors sign jk and trade him in January before the all star break
4.) warriors sign him to a 3 year deal Kerr gone after his 2nd year and his last year is a prove it deal with a new coach
Curry needs to leave
Ugh 😑 another year of watching Kerr screw with this kid.
But is kerr and draymond gone?
Fire Kerr, warriors will win chsmpionship
I hope this means Kerr is gone. If not JK's reps should be working overtime to get JK out of that house fire
It seems to me if you want to trade Kuminga it is best from a negotiation standpoint to indicate that you really want to keep him. I don't believe for a second that JK will be in a Warriors jersey next year.
Please stop bringing up Steven Adam’s or melton. Melton played 6 games and yall so in love. And Steven Adam’s looked amazing because we don’t have a center
Kuminga can't dribble nor lift the ball above his waist without being stripped. Please leave or fix it.
Smoke screen….an effort to make teams think they wanna keep him so that they can extract more in a sign and trade
Guys they are leaking this to prop up kuminga's value. Make sense right?
new era after curry and lebron….warrior pass the baton after one more ring for steph to JK and the younger superstar will bring to the team..JK will be a part for the 5th ring for warrior.
Please no.
Kuminga is gone. He has already said he does not want to return to the Dubs. If I'm JK's agent I do everything to get him away from Kerr. He really needs to be in an offensive that is more iso ball. Being a side piece for Steph for the next 2 years is career suicide.
Great another year of drama if they keep Kuminga.
Kaminga was beginning to get way more minutes, he was beginning to be part of the closing minutes as well. At that point we were around 24-25 that is a fact, that is what the warriors were. And it was because of our roster not because Kerr happened to be the coach. We got Jimmy and he is a skilled player, most importantly he got a lot of chemistry going with our roster. We went 24-7, Kaminga was injured for the whole time! These are facts. We beat the Rockets and each game was a nail bitter! We went with the rotations that were working. Kaminga got plenty of minutes against the Wolves, he was 0-4, there is plenty of tape for any team that wants to make a deal.
Huh? The Warriors don't trigger the hard cap if they S&T Kuminga. The hard cap is triggered when a team acquires a signed-and-traded player, because that team is taking on a new contract rather than just swapping existing salaries. The team that signs the player and then trades him is simply executing a trade, while the team acquiring the signed player is bound by the hard cap restriction.Think of it like this: The signing team is passing the contract along, while the acquiring team is taking responsibility for it. That’s why the hard cap applies only to the team receiving the signed player.
