Oklahoma City Thunder vs Indiana Pacers Full 1st Qtr Highlights – Jun 5 – 2025 NBA Highlights

Again, we’ve got this great offense against the best defense. Baylor Williams gets inside. Well defended. There’s Wallace, the 21-year-old getting his final start. Luke Dort first shot won’t go Smith with the rebound. Mike, that is an enormous change for Oklahoma City. in Hartinstein, he is their best screener, an excellent offensive rebound, a facilitator, but in Kase Wallace, Richard, you downsize a little bit and you get an elite defender on the floor. And for the Pacers, if you’re the Pacers coming into this, you made them adjust first. As you see, Shay Gilis Alexander with his little lefty layup. But if I’m the Indiana Pacers and I see that they have already adjusted to us before playing one minute, to me, that gives me confidence. if you’re the Pacers. Well, both teams have only lost four times in these playoffs [Applause] as Nimhard misses. And don’t be surprised if you see some early miss shots and some turnovers. Yes, even these great players, they’ve got the the nerves here to start game one. Jet Hong, nice fake, drives inside, gets in, layup, shots good. His off the bounce game makes him so much more dangerous. That’s a sevenfooter putting it on the deck and going to the cup. Pascal Seakum hooked away but he gets it back. Knocked away a second time, a third time. Seakum gets it back. Shot clock at six. Meith hubs up. Yeah, we know we got to stop him offensively, but they make it physical. Gilus Alexander to Dort. Little baseline shot rolls off. Pacers will look to push the pace. Lots of ball movement. Not an easy team to defend. Hallebertton throws it up. That won’t go. Don Williams the rebound. Stops. Pulls up three-pointer. Got it. Imhore to Turner. Turner inside. Blocked but a foul. That’s New York Smith up top. Alleverton guarded by Jaylen Williams. Seakum has the height advantage and quickly goes to the rim. That may be the biggest for them. They have multiple defenders and everyone’s going to get a chance to see him, but going to get a chance to see him, but he’s just so big and athletic. Smith tries to get inside. Dart break denial. Turnover and they turn it over right back. Homer mad at himself who were too far ahead. Not only do the Thunder force more turnovers, they commit the fewest and that is lethal for the opponents. Nimhard. [Applause] Nimhard looking finds Seakkum. Wallace on him again. The height advantage and Seakkum once again knocks it down. But DB, that’s the thing. He’s not even going to try and play bully ball. He got going to try and play bully ball. He got to a spot elevated the other time. There’s no one around. I can drive and get a layup. SGA with a three-pointer. Oklahoma City. The three-point ball part of their arsenal as Turner gets that to go, but not a major part. They confirm a go, but not a major part. They confirm a lot of the top teams in the NBA. [Applause] Williams finds some space. Jump shot off the mark. Hallebert quickly races up the floor. Four knock down the last four. Then Shepard in. Obie Toppen in as well. Some early substitutions. Williams jumpers off. Hallebertton quickly into the front court. Hallebertton picked up by SGA. See how the ball moves often without even touching the floor. Topping on the drive. Shot clock at six and throws it in the back court and that’s going to be another turnover. That’s three turn. I played against them in the Eastern Conference Finals when he was the head coach of Detroit. I’ve had some battles with Rick Carile and he will keep you on your toes. As will that man give us Alexander with his third field goal. He’s got seven of their 12 points. the NBA’s leading scoreer. [Applause] Alleberthorn gets in the paint, finds Turnup Poked away. There’s the double teams and the active hands. Dort that time. Gilus Alexander jump shot off the mark. Rebound Dort comes out of the pack surrounded by three Pacers. Homer inside. Lots of contact there. First five minutes of every game. Who are my officials? How well do I know them? What are they going to allow? Turner steps back. The big man could shoot threes. Not that time. Good boxing out from Jaylen Williams. Williams an all-star this year. All NBA all defense. And a foul before the shot attempt. Shepard all played for team Canada in the Olympics in Paris this past summer. Lost in the quarterfinals. Jason Wallace quick release can’t get it to go. Dick kicks it out. Offensive rebound. Homer can’t finish and a loose ball foul is going to finish and a loose ball foul is going to go against Alexander splits the defense inside. Gorgeous move from SGA. Russo in. Isaiah Hartstein. Isaiah Joe. BJ McConnell comes in. Jay Kilos Alexander knocks it away first. Caruso the second time. some magnificent games in the conference finals. Been dead ball. It’s the live ball turnovers that are especially detrimental. [Applause] Isaiah Joe on the bounce. Pulls up. Jump shot. Got it. He’s one of their best three-point shooters. Got a great stroke and a six-point lead for the Thunder. [Applause] McConnell. Such a spark off the bench. Searching [Applause] There’s Hallebertton. Goes inside. Deflected by Henstein. Obi Toppen. Double team. Hallebertton. That little push shot nails the three-pointer. And they’re going to need Hallebertton to be aggressive to score because if he’s just aggressive to pass, like you said, Doris, these windows closed quickly. On that last possession, there were multiple deflections. You got to be aggressive to score to open up the pass against this team. Arch time as SGA goes back door. Good ball movement here. Caruso open three. It’s [Applause] good. Martinstein fakes now drives. Lost it momentarily. Using his off hand blocked but foul on our roster and we couldn’t figure it out. McConnell Matan who can be a good scoreer off the bench. Thomas Bryant out there. Nim hard air ball. Indiana two for eight from three. SGA stops. Continues. Layup. Missed it. Ball to Hartinstein. Banks home the follow. Eight-point lead with a minute and a half to play here in the first. OKC in some sort of zone. But we’re inconsistent at the other end. Matan drives. Goes right inside. Blocked from behind by Curzo. The help defense is off the [Applause] charts. SGA pull up. Got it. Timeout down. Pacers have more turnovers than field goals made. Final minute there in the opening period. McConnell nice spin move. Gets inside. Pulling away. Jumper’s good. always in attack mode. [Applause] Martin Stein who came off the bench for the first time in these playoffs drives inside. Layup is good and a foul. Used the right hand parts of the game and it the right hand parts of the game and it has served him well. Meanwhile, tell Little Rich to shoot it every time he touches it. Hobie Toppin catches, fires, and hits the three. That’s got to feel good. Had a couple of turnovers early. Knocks that there and a whistle and a foul. Think I like that for Indiana, but also I think it gave OKC the speed to be effective. Allebertton guarded by Dort. Good pressure by Dort. Nith stolen by Gilus Alexander. Final seconds. Gildus Alexander one second gets it off in time. Back shot won’t go and that will end the first fittingly. off a turnover.
