Do you think the Cavs HAVE to make a big trade this offseason?
No
Pacers always have five ball handlers and shooters on the floor… At best no team has more than four, many times the Cavs only had three shooters on the floor. he Knicks had a similar issue. Okc also lacks an extra ball handler and shooter. So every team works harder than the Pacers, giving them more energy and able to wear down opposition.
Who was the player and the agent?
would the pacers be in the finals if Haliburton had a serious toe sprain and their shooting guard had an ancle sprain?
Reiterating what I mentioned last week, there is not really any difference in flexibility between now and the July 1st league new year. This is explicitly addressed in Article VII, Section 2(e)(3) of the CBA, stating:
"during the period beginning on the day after the last day of a Regular
Season through the last day of the Salary Cap Year encompassing
such Regular Season, a Team shall not be permitted to engage in any
transaction if such transaction would result in the Team failing to
comply with the rules set forth in Section 2(e)(2)(ii) as of the first
day of the Subsequent Salary Cap Year"
Effectively saying that because they are currently on track to be a 2nd apron team, they can not make a move between the regular season and the new year (i.e. during the draft) that would not be permitted by 2nd apron teams.
I mentioned that mostly for the awareness of other viewers since the CBA is a complicated read, and I don’t assume ESPN Cleveland is reading all the comments, but based on what Windy said this week from 10:14–11:45, maybe they’ll pick up the CBA nuance eventually.
They need to trade Isaac okoro
What a click bait. Why have Giannis KD and Cavs players on the scene of you didn't talk about it. 18 minutes wasted on Windy stuttering about anonymous agents and anonymous players from other teams give us Cavs stuff if that's what you have in the screen!!!
