The Portland Trail Blazers may possess one of the most team-friendly deals in the league with a rising star! This player is producing now, and the contract descends each year. This video highlights this amazing Portland Trail Blazers situation!

Deni Avdija might be the most efficient and underrated isolation scorer in the NBA—while being locked into a contract that gets cheaper every year. At just 24 years old, he’s outproducing All-Stars like Luka Dončić, Jalen Brunson, and Devin Booker in isolation efficiency, and doing it on a deal that pays him just $14.3M next season—and only $11.8M by 2027–28.

Yet, despite his dominance, Avdija runs isolation on just 5.8% of his offensive possessions, making him one of the most underutilized iso threats in the entire league. What if the Portland Trail Blazers gave him more on-ball reps? Could they be sitting on one of the league’s best-kept secrets—and one of the best contracts in basketball?

In this breakdown, we’ll take a closer look at what makes Deni Avdija so special: from his elite isolation and pick-and-roll efficiency to his staggering leap as a pull-up shooter. We’ll compare his numbers to some of the game’s biggest stars and explore how Portland can better unlock his game.

With internal development, smarter playcalling, and increased usage, Avdija could be on the verge of a breakout that reshapes how we view him—and the Blazers’ future. Let’s dive in.

  1. Coach Billups benched this guy for the first 3 months. Jerami Grant quit his season early again, allowing Avdija to rain fire on the league.

  2. I think Deni is starting to get the recognition and respect from the league, next year he will be even better and he doesn't plan on stopping for a moment. He also reached the right size for him – 240 last summer. Up until that point he had been putting on weight and muscle every season. Now that he is at the right weight, his shooting will stabilize and sharpen because his body will be balanced. In short – a monster is on the way, the league needs to get ready.

  3. He could've gotten consideration for most improved player but it never goes to a player on a struggling or rebuilding team.

  4. Portland Trail Blazers are not good Deni Avdija's
He needs to leave this place and team as soon as possible,
It's a shame for Danny to waste more time with a place and team that doesn't really like him
I really hope for Danny that Portland Trail doesn't return after the break, they don't deserve to get
    A lion
    A fighter
And a quality person like Deni Avdija's

  5. Deni Avdija is John Wick
    Focused, determined, doesn't hesitate
    Comes to do the job
Strong, fast, and most accurate and good
    Can't see anyone
When Deni Avdija does John Cena
    That's not the intention
    You don't see me
It's me (Deni Avdija) Can't see anyone from a meter

  6. Great video thanks a lot
And you didn’t even mention his ability on the defense and rebound game.
    His massive🔥🔥

  7. It is so nice seeing Deni get the recognition he deserves.
I'm very happy with how Billups is allowing him to develop. This Portland team is so exciting.

  8. That's because he plays for the Blazers. He doesn't even play in the playoffs which is really where players get recognized.

  9. Loved it that you didnt show crazy threes or dunks , Deni is so effective just like old European players "evry possession counts" so br effective before beautyfull ,1 more thing Portland lost allott of games this season but had more possessions and more FG shots then the opponents and the thing is that Deni has to take 1 shot evry 2 min in average, only then Portland and him will be a playyof team and an allstar player,he has the quality for it but he is a teamate player, the team has to consider him as an allstar and then he will show allstar,he is not a person that will play ego just for his numbers, he wants to win as an old European frase "id rather live ugly then die pretty" but Deni is beautyfull

  10. im honestly interested in the viewership stats of these videos… are there more than 100 views outside of israel lmao

  11. cant wait for next session… teams will be ready for him but he will also be an improved version of himself after this summer
