The only thing is, Ant is still a full three years younger than Shai. It may have been a bit quick to anoint him, but it's just as quick to condemn him. Just my thoughts.
To put things in context — Tracy McGrady, who I believe is one of the most talented individual players ever, never made it out of the first round in his prime. Meanwhile, Ant-Man has already reached the Western Conference Finals twice. That says something.
All of y'all lost if you don't feel some kind of a way with his lackadaisical attitude. It hurts me, knowing where he can be I do understand that life is bigger than basketball. But if this my thing, I'm going to put on any and everybody you line up in front.,..
Anthony Edwards is a 23 year old basketball player who took a Minnesota Timberwolves that never reached the Western Conference finals with Kevin Garnett. Y’all need to fall back and understanding that this is a part of growth. It’s like riding a bike you start our riding training wheels
Yeah thats Ants age showing. He doesnt care enough cause he doesnt know how hard it is to get there yet. He has to experience failure enough times for it to hurt him so much that he wont accept losing. Thats what made the greats great. That refuse to lose mentality
Im telling you some of Lebrons weak mindset and influence is rubbing off on Antman. Also Kobe at 21 , 22 , and 23 years old was playing amazing basketball helping Shaq and the Lakers win 3 chips in a row in 2000 , 2001 , and 2002. 2 years later at 25 years old Kobe helped Shaq and the Lakers make the NBA Finals again in 2004. 4 years later after that at 29 , 30 , and 31 years old Kobe helped his Lakers team make the NBA Finals 3 straight years in a row in 2008 , 2009 , and 2010 winning 2 out of 3 of those NBA Finals winning back to back titles in 2009 and 2010!! Less than 3 years later after Kobe won his 5th NBA Championship at the age of 34 years old is when Kobe tore his achilles playing against the Warriors late in the regular season of the 2013 season and his career winning championships was basically over from that point. Kobe played only 3 more seasons in the NBA after his injury officially retiring from the NBA for good on April 13th 2016 right after scoring 60 points in his last ever regular season game in the NBA at 37 years old. The point is that you are not always guaranteed a trip back to the farthest point that you got in the NBA playoffs the year before. Anthony Edwards I hope realizes this but I understand that with him being only 23 years old right now it might be hard for him to see how fast time goes by in the NBA and in life.
It's no different than nervously laughing in a serious situation. Ant's response is a defense mechanism. He cried like a baby when he got alone, but he can't show that vulnerability in public. It's probably tied into the losses he's had of his parents. He just has a hard time processing pain.😢
If they keep that same group they'll be back. They beat the warriors with ease Lakers with ease Mavs finna get flagg but the West and East always anyone can emerge
Wow. This is a lesson to be learned by everyone who says something and gets torn apart by it. What do you want. Would you like Edwards to walk out of the interview because he is so upset with the loss. Everyone who plays would rather be celebrating and rather look forward to playing another Game. But for someone like Anthony – in his defense – he had won a lot and lost a lot of games and this is always going to happen. I recall someone losing an election a few years ago and all he did was cry and wine that it was stolen and he really won and all but I am not sure, can a player criticize the refs in Basketball without being punished or potentially fined? I hope Edwards watches some of the finals if he wants or travels for a season ending rest somewhere away from Basketball… does what he wants. I thought his play was Professional level and hope I do as well in the profession chosen for me. As to needing failure to succeed … I've tried to figure that one out and if you fail in a profession but know how to succeed on a regular basis then I suppose failures happen. You can think back on a game (this example) and realize eventually what happened and what went wrong whether it is your fault or whether the other team just had a great day. The problem with a failure who continues to fail is that he has not learned from failure and does not know how to win, apparently. Failing over and over and over again must be like standing under an active volcano and refusing to move because you want to beat the volcano.

First take did ant dirty 😂 the question was not HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE BLOW-OUT IN OKC?
The question was “ HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT NOT GETTING THE JOB DONE THIS YEAR ? AND DOES IT MAKE YOU FEEL BAD TO LOSE AFTER GETTING THIS FAR ?
ant said he was excited to have made it this far and he’s only 23 . So he could do it again next year .. his only regret was not doing it for Mike

ant man can't man what a looser!!
He is only 23 and has been to the Western Conference Finals 2 years in a row
I wish they would stop the “Kobe would never” bs… There will not be another Kobe
