How to CHOKE when it matters most.. 🤦‍♂️ | NBA FINALS GAME 1 RECAP

tyrese Hallebertton just showed the world the difference between a playoff riser and a playoff choker Look at this play at the end of game one of the NBA finals SGA needs to make this shot in order to ice the game for OKC But as a result of a Pascal Seakum stunt he breaks it on a step back mid-range which gives the ball back to Indiana On the next possession Hallebertton calls for an isolation and takes the exact same shot that Sha Gilchas Alexander just missed but this time he makes it and wins the game for the Indiana Pacers Keep in mind that Tyrese Hallebertton did this all while overcoming the Pacers 2014 turnovers and shooting less than 50% from the field the entire game Sheay filled up the box score with an impressive 38-point performance However he did it while taking 30 shots and most importantly missed the game-winning shot Shay can win MVP all he wants but when it matters most Tyrese Hallebertton showed up and showed us why regular season awards don’t matter in the playoffs For these reasons I can’t help but say

#nba #nbafinals #pacers

  1. This is why the joker is the true regular season MVP. Because all SJA have to show for is scoring. The NBA really messed up this year with the joker putting up all sorts of ungodly records and for the NBA to say all of that means nothing because SGA makes 32 point average shows you NBA is rigged

  2. That's why he is the " Most Overrated Player" in the NBA… Mr. Overrated showed them, who is who… Maybe the MVP should be called "The Choker".

  3. Wdym he missed the game winning shot? Had Shai made that shot okc would’ve been up 3 giving the pacers a chance to tie which we know Hali is capable of.

  4. You know y'all stat chasers you don't need to have the best that to be a closer Mr closer get the job done or better yet call him Mr clutch That's still matter closing does That's the difference between him which is halliburd and everybody else Best clothes in the game He's the game master control the game control his team let everybody get a chance to shine he don't need to take over he just need to win next level Y'all typical superstars they got to do everything for all the stat sheets and still can close when it really matters he close nothing else matter but closing I Mr clutch mess up the whole analyst panel because all the narrative that they like to talk about all you got to do is you got to do that The stats matter this is why they lost the game they won the game and the second quarter thunders was never good enough they lost the game in a second quarter they got to be up by 50 to beat Indiana they don't stand a chance in hell it was Mr clutch going to send him home sooner than later

  5. You dumbo tyrese's shot was a pull up long middle whereas shai's shot was a post spin fadeaway. It's a much harder shot, which, I will say, he hits quite often. Shai had 38 points on 14/30 which is 47% and ain't that bad. He had multiple 30 pt games in the playoffs and a few 40 pt ones. You have to be one of the most biased and one of the worst youtubers to get nba content and information. I'm sorry I just… improve man.

  6. I mean can we not say both are important. 😂. Is it so hard to say that it “really” matters throughout the entire game.

So it’s good to hit your shots during the game and it’s good to hit the game winning shots. They both need each other. Without people making the shots during the game you don’t get the opportunity to hit a game winning shot and without hitting the game winning shot you don’t see the pay off all the shots made during the game.

    Both are good 🤦🏾‍♂️😂

Also why is it a choke if someone misses a shot at the end of a game? People act like players are incapable of missing shots. 😂

If he missed that shot during the game no one bats an eye but if he does so at the end of the game then it’s a big deal. Sometimes people miss , and sometimes they make it.

  7. SGA wasn't no "Choker"..he simply missed a shot. He wasn't "Choking" all game long. This supposed narrative that you are a "Choker" for missing a shot is overrated and mostly unfounded when in comes down to it.

  8. Hali the most clutch player. He like makes 80% of clutch shots so far. If they PACERS win the finals its gonna be a generational run

  9. Idk bruh if a ball bounces if the rim and hits back in, that’s more luck than clutch but yeah sometimes he is pretty clutch and then a whole lot of times you get only 8 points from him the entire game. That’s how the NBA works, you’re good some days, you’re great on others and some you play like shit.
