It’s Never Been More Clear…
it has never been more clear as the Toronto Raptors have the ninth pick in this year’s NBA draft and they have been linked to Common Malawatch by a ton of mock drafts and reports However as of late common malwatch has been jumping up the draft boards and it has forced Toronto Raptors fans and other insiders and reporters to link different players to the Toronto Raptors with that ninth overall selection assuming no trades happen assuming no jumps happen which of course lots of rumors have been circulating regarding this team However it has never been more clear Now at this point in terms of who’s going to be available for the Toronto Raptors with that pick and frankly the odds of if Malawatch is off the board who the Toronto Raptors are going to draft So we’re going to break down the latest updates in terms of who’s going to be available for the Toronto Raptors in this year’s draft and what we can expect from this team leading into a draft night that is one of the most important in Toronto Raptors history given the position of the franchise here now at this point So lots of stuff to break down Of course folks if you are part of the 47% that haven’t hit the subscribe button just yet and you want to stay up to date with everything going on with this Toronto Raptor team make sure you guys hit that sub button so you stay up to date with everything going on Whether it’s trade rumors reports draft updates we’re covering it all here on Raptors Digest But let’s jump into it because everyone’s looking at this and like Ben the only guy you’ve really talked about this entire summer is Common Malawatch I’ve brought up some different names but Malawatch has really been the name that a lot of people have looked at in terms of uh the Toronto Raptors landing in this year’s NBA draft So what’s going on What’s never been more clear Well we broke down in a recent video how another name that’s quietly gaining traction as a potential option for Philadelphia is Duke Freshman Common Malawatch Another player in the mix is Texas guard Trey Johnson Basically the Philadelphia 76ers have the top or the third selection in this year’s NBA draft So we currently select nine And common watch is a piece that is getting linked to being a top three pick The Hornets have reportedly had some interest The Pelicans the Nets a few teams that are drafting ahead of us are currently linked to common Malawatch as well So while the Toronto Raptors reportedly have a promise for Malawatch if he does fall to number nine and we still have that pick it is a very legitimate possibility that Collet Malawatch is going to get selected before the Toronto Raptors are in their drafting positions So that has forced Messiah Jerry Raptors fans to look at other names that are going to be available in terms of uh you know that ninth overall pick assuming we don’t trade up or make any moves along those lines So what’s going on What’s happening with this Well we do have now an update because all the mocks still have Malawatch going to us Uh they haven’t really changed much whatsoever but we do have a little leaked news or leaked odds in terms of who’s going to be a top 10 pick Of course the Raptors with the number nine overall selection and there’s a couple names that should be discussed because I’ve seen a lot of guys and we’ll talk about as we inch closer and closer to the draft all the possible options you know guys like Carter Bryant or you know Colin Murray Boils different pieces that definitely are wing players that could be effective guys for this Raptors team don’t get me wrong but Jaggor Demian who we’ve covered on the channel a little bit we’ll talk about more today and Noah Essen are the two names that are most likely to be top 10 picks in this year’s NBA draft Of course like Malawatch guys that are going to be guarant like Cooper Flag is not going to be bettable on because the the sports book will lose money because there’s no world these guys are falling out of the top 10 But basically these are the mix because outside of the top honestly outside of the top two now at this point we’ve seen very extremely varied uh mock drafts reports you know news coming out regarding uh who’s going to get drafted where So this has been one of the more interesting draft positions the Raptors have had in terms of who’s going to be available and who they’re actually going to select So who are these guys because uh Noah Essen is someone I brought up in terms of a piece that a lot of people are interested in and frankly has a ridiculous amount of upside So let’s just jump straight into it because uh this guy is 18 years old He’s from France born in ‘ 06 which is just absolutely absurd You know he’s 69 and he’s 194 pounds and uh he’s he’s a player that again just has that lucrative upside you know playing uh last season out there in France 12 points per game five rebounds one assists per 36 those numbers of course jump but uh the three-point shooting percentage at 29% So not great but definitely something that could be improved And 73% from the free throw line So not horrible as a three as a free throw shooter which is a positive but you look at sort of his intangibles right The guy is 69 He’s a long wingspan and just has a ton of high upside potential And you know right now the Malaw watch is still the guy In terms of the tankathon draft for us Malwatch is the guy Noah Essen is the piece that’s expected to go 11th but in terms of these odds here right now which is the latest updates the mocks a lot of them haven’t updated They’ll update closer to the NBA draft but he is a piece that could be jumping out there in the top 10 And of course I’ll get to Demian but what’s uh what who is this guy How how good is he at basketball Like for really being real and diving into stuff here on this point So SNK’s strengths if we look at it he’s an athletic versatile defender He has a fluid um he’s a fluid mover with strong instinct So this dude’s just frame ability to get around out there on the court is very very effective Like you know in terms of basketball body in terms of you know high potential draft picks he is exactly the type of athlete you’d be wanting to bring in for the Toronto Raptors So that’s the first thing He’s a really effective transition finisher so he can score in space you know run up the court and uh finish you know along those lines and has a high motor rebounder So uses his long arm 69 frame out there at the wing position to get boards play some defense and do stuff out there on that front Just a wired athlete that can come in has a solid jump shot Of course the percentages do need to go up does need to prove in those areas but definitely is a guy that has that high upside But in terms of his weaknesses he’s a limited half court score He’s not going to create a ton of stuff off the bounce and things like that his jumper mechanics have uh led some concerns from people A lot of these notes are coming from NBA draft.net as well watching some of these vids as well He’s not a great playmaker so he’s not creating his own shots doing things out there along those lines And his defensive overaggressiveness so that athleticism that energy that is a positive out there in a young player You’d rather someone be as a young guy of course you know you want to tamper it in as they get older and stuff But basically he is overaggressive So he can foul a little bit too much You know getting to people a little bit too much which I don’t think is that negative But of course right now immediately coming into the NBA might take some work take some develop to become more disciplined out there on the defensive end Use the athleticism the right way So that’s his strengths and weaknesses Definitely a guy with a high upside athleticism He’s young that can come in and uh probably wouldn’t have the immediate impact the same way a Malwatch or one of these dudes will but definitely could have some high upside for this Raptors team moving forward in the future And that’s what the Toronto Raptors are going to go after in this NBA draft But of course who’s the other guy You know Jagger Demi who we’ve already made half a video on out there on the channel but is the most likely to be a top 10 pick out there out of this group in terms of players that you know if Malaw watches God that uh could cub down to the Toronto Raptors So who is Jagger De Well we take a look at him as well in terms of who he is as a basketball player Played for BYU is from Russia and is just a 69 610 point guard That really is solid there And actually I’ve just spotted this I knew I had it saved somewhere but oh the wingspan’s not even there Okay so his wingspan is 610 but uh you know from Russia point guard and he’s mocked to go 18th here now at this point in terms of the actual mock draft on NBA draft.net but things are changing after all those workouts and everything that’s been going down So for BYU last season 25 minutes per game averaged 10 points per night 5.5 assists 1.2 steals and did turn over the ball a decent amount You know 69% was a free throw shooter 27% from the three-point line So as a guard you know that’s a bit concerning That’s a bit worrying in terms of the shooting you know if he’s going to be running that full-time point guard position But 610 at the point guard spot that is uh you know that’s an interesting piece That’s an interesting cell for a lot of people because well you know the Raptors do have a lot of playmakers and of course they could run some of those you know 6ix9ine vision that we used to talk about back with this team You know beside you Jerry S that didn’t really work out at that point but you know very very interesting high upside player So you know if we’re looking at him as a as a guy you know Messiah Jerry’s looking at what are his strengths and weaknesses out there on the basketball court Well firstly you know he’s an elite passer in vision at the point guard spot right 69 610 The reason he plays point guard is because he can facilitate He can playmake for your group He can playmake for your team And that’s what you want at that PG spot So that’s very important You know he’s versatile 69 He can play all those positions He’s a strong on ball defender which I’m seeing some misconceptions get thrown Oh he’s going to get cooked on the defense NBA cuz he’s a big tall lanky white guy And he’s a solid own ball defender which you need if you’re going to be guarding smaller guards out there at that PG spot out there at the NBA Of course you you could throw him in there let R.J guard the guards or whatever lineups you’re going to end up running And then um you know just a high IQ basketball player So while of course you know there’s a lot of stuff that have to be improved his defense you fishing the limb all that type of stuff he has those basketball instincts which get you excited You know I’ve seen comparisons to Josh Giddy seen comparisons to Ben Simmons before he completely fell off the map So that’s kind of Jagger Demi in terms of upside in terms of looking but of course you know in terms of weaknesses we’ve already discussed he’s a poor shooting in terms of efficiency He can turn over the basketball a lot You know that’s what usually happens with young players that have that vision They end up forcing passes and doing stuff along those lines He doesn’t have that extreme athletic burst that a lot of people would be hoping for at that guard spot but again 610 that’s that’s what you want And then he struggles physical scoring So while he is a strong ball and ball defender so he’s aggressive he does have some grit finishing around the basket and you know through contact and stuff is something that you know someone with his similar frame generally struggles at coming into the NBA So Jagger Demian is a guy that definitely is one of those more high upside but also high bust potential you know players for your squad for your team But I would not be shocked This is the type of uh you know player that Bisay Jerry could take a risk on him and Essier more than any of those other players that are out there in the mix because if we’re really looking at it these other guys right uh and Colin Murray Boils he’s a piece that offensively very very little brings in some defense too so I wouldn’t be surprised Carter Bryant is the player I’ve seen a lot of people just really be invested in in terms of there and then some people you know talking to guys like our guy Sean and Sixers Digest locked in on the NBA draft just doesn’t see it at all with Carter Bryant you know in terms of his potential in terms of everything that’s going on So there are some pieces there are a lot of options even if common Malawatch does not end up falling to the Raptors Most of the monks still have Malawatch as the guy that the Raptors could still land out there in these mock drafts So I’m not writing him off off the board completely but it’s never been more clear in terms of uh who’s going to be most available who’s going to be most likely to jump into those top nine selections if uh you know Malawatch is not out there on the board because he’s been jumping on the draft boards Everything we’ve heard is this guy would be a beast Like I’m still on that Malawatch train but these other prospects definitely would be very very interesting for this Toronto Raptors group So let me know what you guys think about all of this in the comment section down below You guys are best to make this far Subscribe to the channel if you guys haven’t already Anyways I’m signing out Cheapest

It’s still team Cedric Coward buddy.
Broo
We need egor damin. 6'9 fricking pg. What are we thinking about? Then trade 4 future firsts with IQ abaji & poetl for jokic. So simple. I should be the GM. Like cmon
Queen or mulach boyle
If Khaman maluach is off the board all bets are off. I could see a lot of players taken. Don’t forget Nolan traore was predicted to be a top five pick for a long time. He played in a men’s pro league at 18. That’s not easy to do. I could see traore, essengue, Carter Bryant, queen, kasparas or demin. This draft is deep / stacked. Teams will get great prospects in the 20’s
Magic Barnes is not getting traded
KD for Ingram, Gradey, Lawson, Castleton and the 9th
trade 9 for Kessler
Really interested in Essengue. Really high upside, and he's only 18.
We don't need any more of these rookies with a upside here and a upside there, we already have them. We need to established, proven player. Someone to compliment Ingram and Barnes
I don’t understand why people say guys like essengue have crazy upside. I don’t see it. Demin is basically better than him at everything and is the same size with better fluidity. Demin is much better rn and has a much higher ceiling. Maybe I’m crazy but I have Demin way over even Maluach on my big board. He’s an easy choice to me based off eye test and he interviews really well too. I trust masai but if I were the gm I’m taking Demin no matter what unless somehow Flagg falls which is basically impossible
I believe this was a very deep draft and a little less with about 10 – 20 players going back to college NIL. However, I still believe top 30 are rotation potential if they are hungry? All that said I like Ochai very much but think J’KW will be better 2 way player by end of next year.
3 strategies: 1 trade up to 6 only if Wiz will for 6 = 9 + Ochai + 2028 second. I thinks Wiz will try and move Kris Mid at trade deadline if he is healthy for bad expire and pick. Ochai could be a good depth piece for Wiz and they still get top 10 pick. Again only if Khaman M is there at 6?
2 take a player that fills a hole at 9 { C, Big Wing, mid to big PG depth }, then trade OChai + 39 = 26 + 36 from Nets to fill the other 2
3 trade down with OKC or Orlando for Mid – teen, mid 20s and pick. Then fill 3 holes. Others have said try to trade ATL 13 + 22 but would think you have to add future seconds?
Just one scenario: Sorber, Saraf and bigger wing in second round. Second Egor D drops to 15-16, then you pick up BPA for C and Big wing next 2 picks.
Yes you don’t get a top 10 pick to add but hope you get 2 rotational players on low contracts next 4 years as your top 5 are expensive.
Egor demin 🤮. Lets trade down and get cam Johnson, then take rasheer flemming or Cédric coward
Got to this point. You're just spreading rumors to get views and followers….. I'm going to unfollow
I’m gonna tune in to Essungue and Sarafs game at 12 : 30 today, apparently he’s been having some big performances of late.
Demin can't shoot. Same 3Fg% as Asa Newell and worse FT% than Thomas Sorber. Both fit the team better.
Ben Simmons has ruined the idea of a tall, non-shooter as a pg.
The only frontcourt player after Maluach who intrigues me is Sorber. Wide frame and a 7'6 wingspan. 1st team defensive potential. Rebounding is already there. Perfect fit next to BBQ. If he didn't have a foot injury, there would be no question he would be top 10.
I dont care who they draft. I’m too old to wait for rookies to grow into star players. Let me know if Giannis or another big fish gets traded to the Raptors. Lifes too short to worry about these youngins
Carter Bryant 1st round . Rocco,Hansen, or Joan in 2nd 👍🏾
Time to win again guys. I remember these moments 9-10 years ago. We have the pieces, draft capital, and the best fan bass in the nba.
Hey Roger
So many YouTubers making coin these days off of speculation, and BS rumours. Masai has a big board with contingencies built in based on years of scouting and speaking with coaches, trainers, agents for their most favoured draft picks. Shit…maybe he trades the #9 pick for something else. That would kinda make all these videos kinda useless, wouldn't it? I'm patiently waiting for draft night and place my faith in Masai and his team that they will make the best pick possible or trade it for something better. #inMasaiwetrust
