the San Antonio Spurs trading Kellen Johnson to the Utah Jazz makes perfect sense in my opinion now there’s been lots of speculation lately about the Utah Jazz potentially uh trading away Lori Markin and if that’s the case the Spurs are seen as a landing spot for him so what would they get back in return well in my personal opinion if the Spurs were to trade for Lori Markin if I’m the Utah Jazz I’d want to get back Kellen Johnson plus draft capital like first and foremost Kellen Johnson fits the timeline of this team tremendously well he’s a young player he’s getting better he’s entering the prime of his NBA career and he could be a very solid player for some of the younger players on this Utah Jazz’s lineup and I think with the change of scenery and perhaps uh you know an increased role offensively speaking he could blossom into potentially a 20 point per game guy so I think that if you were to go to the Utah Jazz as kind of the player uh as kind of the roster player now plus some draft capital you’re better not only in the short term but in the long term as well so I’m a pretty big fan of Kell Johnson um playing with this uh Utah Jazz roster he’s also a player that’s relatively affordable as well like one of the biggest things about trading away someone uh like Lori Markin would be to maybe get off his contract he’s an expensive player and Kelton Johnson is a cheaper alternative so if it doesn’t work out you could look to flip him later on whatever the case may be it just makes sense from a financial perspective and as I mentioned before I think Lori Markin going to the Spurs makes some sense but what’s underrated I would say is Kelvin Johnson like if Kelton Johnson goes to the Utah Jazz he can be a focal point of this team he could perhaps have an increased role offensively speaking he’s still a young player and he fits in perfectly what I would say with the Utah Jazz’s timeline so in my opinion the Utah Jazz trading for Kell Johnson makes perfect sense but what do you guys think a Utah Jazz Kell Johnson trade looks like leave your thoughts
