[Music] hey what’s going on y’all it’s Con welcome back to another NBA Daily uh the finals start off in an insane fashion uh we’ve got Tyres Halburn hitting another gamewinner which is just automatic for him in every single series at this point uh incredibly clutch bucket and of course the Pacers as a whole just have this weird like team of destiny almost feeling to them where you could be up a million probably doesn’t matter in the last couple of minutes and they’re going to hit insane shot after insane shot miles Turner banking in a quarter three and Nemhard hitting the craziest step back dribble combo jumper over Shaggel just Alexander from like the hash mark uh the Pacers are absolutely insane it’s going to be a really fun final series if you weren’t expecting that I’m shocked uh but yeah finals is in full swing and of course with there being two teams left there are 28 teams that are in the midst of their off season and as we continue to hear it feels like this could be one of the crazier off seasons we’ve ever seen it feels like we are poised for a lot of player movement for uh some big-time shifts in the landscape of the NBA stars not only switching teams but switching conferences and there’s a lot of teams in the market for those top tier names giannis one of those guys that has continuously come up are the Bucks going to trade him and if so where could he land it feels like you know there’s a couple spots that we expect are going to be in the running but there could be a million other locations please Nick stay away from this dude i’m guessing you’re talking about Kevin Durant who we’re going to talk about in a moment but yeah Giannis is the big name and then Katie who we are going to talk about today is the other guy uh Katie is completely up in the air at the moment well we know he’s leaving Phoenix we know he’s going to get traded but um we just don’t know where and there are a lot of spots where he could go ahead and end up had a really good 2024 2025 27 points six boards 4.2 assists as you see there has not shot below 50% from the field since 2012 uh Kevin Durant is still ridiculous at I believe 36 years old now still one of the best scorers on the planet still highly impactful and a player that the more I think about it more teams should consider trading for him because I don’t think the trade value for him is at an all-time high i do think there could end up being a little bit of a bidding war with this being a weaker free agency and how wide open it feels like the NBA is at the moment i I wouldn’t be shocked if we get a little bit of running up in terms of that asking price but just in general I think Kevin Durant isn’t the most impossible to acquire asset with him also being on an expiring contract so I think a lot of teams are going to throw their hat into the ring to try and go ahead and land Kevin Durant the question is where could he possibly go so I’ve drawn up six trade packages that I want to talk about six landing spots for Kevin Durant we’re going to go through those trade packages i want to hear your thoughts on those trade packages and also at the end I’m going to rank what I think are the most realistic landing spots for Katie out of those six uh so let’s go ahead and start off with the team that I think makes the most sense for Kevin Durant the team that everybody kind of talks about first when it comes to KD and anytime a star becomes mentioned in trade talks it’s the Houston Rockets houston is one of those teams that is always going to be in this conversation because they’ve got young players they’ve got assets they are a rising team that lost this past year in the first round and have a glaring need to add in a number one score jaylen Green they were hoping he could become that guy you know Shenon has done a really good job of trying to turn himself into that type of player they’ve got a lot of guys that can pop on any given night but nobody that can do it consistently enough for the Rockets to be a legitimate playoff threat that was the concern going into that Warriors series and ultimately that is what sank them so uh Kevin Durant I think makes a lot of sense now with Houston they are a pretty young team on the rise so that is one thing that’s a little bit weird as you’re adding a 36-year-old number one option to this team that isn’t the best fit it doesn’t feel like in terms of timelines but in terms of the type of player that Houston needs I mean KD makes all the sense in the world he gives you a reliable score someone that can just go out there get you buckets can be the guy that you look to gives you a lot more offensive versatility someone who can draw a lot more pressure to get easier shots for the other guys that remain on the roster after a Kevin Durant trade and I don’t think they have to give up too much and also they’re super enticing for Phoenix to trade with because they have the Suns draft picks like if the Phoenix Suns want to go towards a rebuild trading with Houston makes all the sense in the world so let’s talk about the trade package I have for him going to the Rockets it’s nothing too crazy it’s kind of just what I think everybody’s talking about at this point it’s Jaylen Green i feel like he’ll likely be involved in this deal to make the money work he and Don Brooks work legitimately perfectly like the money almost matches up one to one you go with the 10th overall pick which originally was Phoenix their 2027 first and that 2029 pick swap you also have from the Suns so you basically give up Jaylen Green and Dylan Brooks and give the Suns back their draft capital and you get Kevin Durant i feel like all in all that’s a very very fair trade is a fine asking price it’s one that if I’m Houston I’m willing to go ahead and pay uh Jaylen Green you know people continue to believe in him and I think he could be a good player at some point i mean he’s become a solid player at times he’s just hyper inconsistent and I don’t think he’s ready to be the lead scoreer for this Rockets team anytime soon meanwhile with Phoenix uh with how up in the air everything is over there I think they have the time to see if Jon Green can become a little bit more than what he’s shown so far with the Rockets uh Dylan Brooks gives you a reliable veteran if you want to try and be more competitive especially if they’re trying to keep Deon Booker which it sounds like that is their game plan then uh yeah I feel like Dylan Brooks is someone who goes ahead and helps you out or you know you could flip him and then again you get your picks back you get the 10th overall pick in this year’s draft to either take someone you think could be a differencemaker right away or I would much more likely go for a little bit of a swing someone that you think could eventually become a star or some type of contributor next to Devin Booker down the line this is what the team could look like with Kevin Durant over in Houston it’s Fred Van Fleet Almond Thompson Katie Jabarisma Jr and Albert Shenune and then off the bench I think Reed Shepard gets more run next year you still have Tari E of course uh this is a really really good team all things considered a lot of depth on this squad a lot of defensive versatility kd is also still a pretty fine defender he’s not elite anymore i mean he’s getting into his late 30s and he’s got a big offensive uh load that you’re asking him to carry so it’s not surprising that Katie isn’t like an all-world defender but he was one of the more reliable ones on Phoenix last year so I think he fits this identity fine i could see a jump from Jabari i think Almond is in for a massive massive leap at some point here soon shangun is only getting better as this team’s young big man the star of this team their lone all-star at the All-Star break so yeah Houston is in a really good spot whether they make a trade or not I think they will go ahead and make something happen i think it’s more likely they go Katie over Giannis if I had to guess because I imagine a Giannis trade is going to cost them Almond Thompson or Alpurn Shenon and I just don’t think they want to go that route plus Giannis is a little bit of a clunky fit because the Rockets also just aren’t this great shooting team and of course Giannis isn’t a threat he’s not going to provide a lot from the outside so those are kind of my thoughts on KD Houston let me know what you think of the trade is Kevin going to trade to the Rockets bay Area sports cap i if I had to predict I think this is the most likely outcome but there are a lot of other outcomes I think are very possible too it’s not a given by any means another one of those teams that is reportedly in the running that I also think is very intriguing are the San Antonio Spurs uh we’ve heard recently that Kevin Durant and the Spurs have mutual interests or at least that’s one of the reports out there and I mean it makes sense like you uh if you’re Kevin Durant late in your career can join up with Victor Webbyama who feels like he could be a top five player as soon as next season uh high level defender that can also score takes some of that pressure off of you and gives you a really reliable defender to play alongside after playing on a terrible defensive team last year in Phoenix you also have a great guard to play along with in De’Aran Fox i think that makes a lot of sense right there uh I don’t even think the Spurs have to give up too too much and they’ve got so many assets in the first place plus I am a big proponent of the Spurs trading for some type of star whether it’s Katie or Giannis the Spurs really do feel like a a real potential Giannis destination if I had to pick one out but I think it makes a lot of sense to add this high level score again I know he’s up there in age but I don’t think KD is going to become bad anytime relatively soon i think he’s going to be really good up until he’s like 40 years old that buys you like 3 four years down the line which I think is plenty uh and you don’t have to give up too much like I said you have Deon Vel Harrison Barnes a 2025 first round pick that is the 13th pick in this year’s draft the Hawks pick from 2027 and then two pick swaps those are the swaps from Atlanta down the line or one of them is and I think the other one is uh trying to remember what pick swap that was i think it might be a 2029 um pick swap yeah I think that’s where it’s at so you give up a couple of pick swaps give up a couple of Atlanta picks and Deon Vel who gives the Suns another score to play alongside Deon Booker going forward uh also as well as a draft pick to use in this year’s uh draft and you get Kevin Durant here and you set up a lineup of Dearren Fox Stefon Castle Kevin Durant uh you’ve got WBY you’ve got Champenny if you want to go that route you could also go Jeremy Sohan if you want to just add in a little bit more defense champion is more if you want to add some spacing next to Webby and Fox and Castle which I kind of rock with a little bit uh Harrison Barnes also you know whether he goes in the tread or not could change things because he’s also a pretty decent fit when it comes to the spacing but to make the salary work he’s almost certainly going to have to be gone and I do think the Spurs would have to add a little bit more shooting too just over the course of this off seasonason in general and you still have a lot of assets to make that work plus in this deal you keep the number two pick which you could then either flip for someone else in a big way if you wanted to or you add Dylan Harper and you just add another really good guard uh to this team so yeah that’s where uh I’m at right now with um the San Antonio Spurs and Kevin Durant let’s move on out to the third landing spot that I have for KD and that one is the uh the Denver Nuggets this is one has been talked about a little bit and I mean it makes sense for Denver to try and make some type of big move if they can obviously falling out in round two this year to the Oklahoma City Thunder it’s nothing to be ashamed of especially losing only seven games when you’re dealing with some injuries uh but I think it makes sense to go after a guy like Kevin Durant if you could potentially flip Michael Porter Jr for KD i feel like with Joic playing the way that he is right now there’s absolutely nothing wrong with buying on a little bit of an older player of course you know it’s nice that MPJ is a good bit younger he gives you this highle shooting but I I just don’t trust MPJ to provide nearly as much as KD i think the Nuggets need another reliable offensive option they need some outside shooting and you know KD is going to provide that uh relentlessly there’s pretty much never going to be off nights for Kevin Durant especially if you’ve got Joic drawing two defenders in the paint and he’s swinging it out to Jamal Murray who then gets you know a close out and then he kicks it over to Kevin Durant for a three i mean you want to talk about one of the most unstoppable offenses I can imagine adding KD to the Nuggets I think will create that type of situation so yeah uh in this trade Kevin Durant ends up landing with the Denver Nuggets michael Porter Jr Zeke Naji Dario Sarich Don Holmes and three pick swaps end up with the Phoenix Suns uh these three pick swaps are all later down the line i think it’s 2028 2030 and 2031 is where I have the pick swaps uh so you get a lot of very interesting uh draft capital now it’s not just straight up first round picks cuz the Nuggets really don’t have any of those to offer but these pick swaps could be super intriguing down the line if uh you know KD is out of the league at that point which I would be shocked if he’s still in the league in six years i guess it’s not impossible uh but you get those pick swaps which can make things really interesting for you you get a young player Michael Porter Jr who does have a larger contract it’s it’s not my favorite trade i’ll be honest when I’m thinking about the Suns perspective I really prefer some of these other options the Nuggets just don’t have a lot to offer but I I think there is intrigue there with Michael Porter Jr if you think you could rehabilitate him a little bit give him a bigger role over there next to Devin Booker you do have to take on Zeke Naji’s money though which isn’t the best uh Deron Holmes gives you a very interesting young big man and obviously the Suns are in need of big play i feel like the Nuggets it’s a little bit of a pipe dream just because they don’t have nearly as much to offer as some of these teams but I do think the idea of Kevin Durant Denver at least situationally makes a lot of sense for the Nuggets so that’s what I’ve got going on there with Denver let’s move on now to the next team and uh this is where I have the Philadelphia 76ers actually I think the Sixers could throw their hat in the ring for Kevin Durant again I don’t think it’s as likely as to the the Texas teams but I do think that the Sixers could make a very intriguing offer for KD if they want to go that route um Philly they’re in a weird spot where they both feel like they need to maybe piv pivot a little bit younger but also when you have Joel Embiid like do you try to win now but at the same time like is it even worth it with Embiid’s injury history and PG is he gonna bounce back is he not plus you’ve got Tyres Max and Jared McCain i see you in the chat we will talk about the uh the New York Knicks i promise you that um it’s like a weird tale of two teams right now over there in Philadelphia but I do think Kevin Durant could add a very interesting dynamic they need a little bit more of an offensive punch they need somebody that can give them some reliable on ball creation and playing offball uh and I think there’s an intriguing offer to throw here to the Phoenix Suns for Kevin Durant specifically the third overall pick is a very very valuable asset if the Suns really want to try and go for a rebuild or you know a little bit of a shift you do have to take on the Paul George contract which is a lot and they already have the Bradley Beal one they’re trying to get rid of so this this would rely on the Suns being very willing to take this on and maybe they think PG could play a little bit better and they could flip him at some point uh but you get PG you also get a Dembonous you get a young big man the third overall pick and then two very intriguing uh picks from the Clippers down the line that the Sixers have uh they have a first round pick in 2028 from LA and that is very intriguing when you think about the situation the Clippers are in at the moment and a 2029 pick swap via the Clippers also very very intriguing when you consider how old that roster is so three very interesting draft pieces demone a very interesting young big the question is are you willing to take on the Paul George contract why would they want to take on PG to get the third overall pick js or Mayors that’s why bonus of agent i’m pretty sure Bona has a team option uh Dcoin why would the Suns eat Naj’s contract yeah that’s kind of the issue spsu in chat for the um the the Denver situation yeah but I do think Kevin Durant would be really good here i mean if the Sixers want to take a swing and just say you know what screw it we’re we’re just going to go for it with Embiid we’re just going to see what we can make it happen um I think this is the move to make but I I’m more so in the camp that the Sixers should be patient they should take someone with pick three and maybe revisit this around the deadline if Embiid’s actually healthy and you actually have your guys out there and it’s like “Hey maybe we could be competitive.” I I just don’t think I would swing for the fences quite like this before the draft but if the if Daryl Moore goes out goes out there and does it I wouldn’t be the most shocked in the world and I would lean Kevin Durant over like a Larry Markin and that’s another name that I’ve heard i think I would just lean KD a little bit more yeah Suns 211 the Suns would definitely want Tyres Maxi but if Tyrus Maxi or Jire asked for Philly is just not doing it like it’s just not going to happen i don’t think KD’s got that type of value you’re not going to get the third overall pick and like a Tyrus Maxi give me Booker instead i just don’t think Booker’s available and also I mean I guess are you giving up McCain or Maxi in that deal because to me what Philly’s been missing for a while is that wing that provides that connecting piece between Tyrus Maxi and Joel Embiid and the issue is Paul George is supposed to be that and he was just terrible last season so we’ll see if he bounces back but yeah uh fifth trade that I have we can finally talk about the New York Knicks i know everybody wants to talk about the Knicks uh the New York Knicks Kevin Durant what does that trade look like uh report is from Shams that the uh the Knicks actually inquired about Kevin Durant and sent them a trade offer at the deadline interesting to think about what that could have potentially been and that Kevin Durant and the Knicks still have mutual interest going into this summer there’s maybe something here and I also feel like the more that I think about it the Knicks are going to do something bold i mean there’s the report already that they’re trying to lure Jason Kid away from the Dallas Mavericks and I I’m starting to think more and more likely that might actually happen which is crazy to think about but I feel like swinging for Kevin Durant this is something that was rumored uh back in the free agency of 2019 when he joined up with Brooklyn it feels like maybe this is the moment where it happens and I don’t think it would be a bad fit whatsoever to add KD i do think the Knicks could use more defensively but you could also just use a super dynamic score and Kevin Durant to help out uh Jaylen Brunson and in this deal you give up Carl Anthony Towns Pakome Dier in the second or a second round pick and then the Knicks get the uh 29th overall pick from the Phoenix Suns as well as Kevin Durant because Kat like he’s a much younger player he’s under more team control and he still is really really good so I think the Knicks actually get a first round pick back a very very late first round pick at that in this deal well the Suns get Carl Anthony Towns very intriguing and maybe is the right word i don’t know i don’t really know much at all about Pakome Dad in the NBA at this point because he didn’t really play last season but they do get Pomeier as well as his second round pick this is just trying to get Carl Anthony Towns like you just get a big for the future with Deon Booker you know two guys who went to Kentucky this is what the team would go ahead and look like you’d have Brunson Hart Bridges Kevin Durant Ojonobi and Mitchell Robinson starting lineup probably moves Josh Hart to the bench there mitch runs fulltime five the only worry is that you know with Mitchell Robinson his health is very concerning in that regard i I just don’t know if I trust Mitchell Robinson to be healthy enough for the full-time big spot all season maybe Errol Huckporty comes in and he’s able to uh contribute a little bit kd to Boston with JT out kind of makes sense maybe a dark horse to a look at what about Boston my only thing with Boston is I don’t really know what they throw out there like are you willing to give up Jaylen Brown i don’t think so and I wouldn’t give up Jaylen Brown for uh Kevin Durant at this point i don’t really think there was going to be a lot of intrigue when it comes to like Chris Porzingis it’s hard to make the money work for Boston i I actually don’t even know if Boston can make the money work i can’t remember i’m pretty sure they are a second apron team which means that they can’t combine players and that so that means unless it’s Jaylen Brown or Jason Tatum straight up they could also clear salary space beforehand and make the trade work when they make themselves a little bit uh more financially flexible but at the moment it just would be kind of impossible what about Miami i see Ezra Oliver saying Miami i mean Miami I think is a somewhat viable option but if I’m Kevin Durant that’s not really where I want to go at this point and I don’t think Phoenix is going to only send KD somewhere where he wants to go but I think it’s more likely that he gets traded somewhere he wants to be i mean weather-wise Miami is super cool but in terms of the situation they’re in I don’t know it’s It’s not the most intriguing spot i think I’d rather go to pretty much any of these destinations at the moment who’s better scoring defender Cat or KD i think KD is better in both those regards although it’s very different scoring of course for Katie and Cat very different types of players okay the last thing I want to talk about on this list I see Mike in the chat saying it i’ll get out of the way now it is the Minnesota Timberwolves uh Minnesota I do think is going to be in the conversation for Kevin Durant the only issue is it’s it takes a lot to go forward and get this deal done if you’re Minnesota uh because you need like Julius Randle to accept this player option basically you have to tell him like hey you know we want to trade you for Kevin Durant accept your player option and that Phoenix is going to pay you i think that’s the only way this works uh but it would be Julius Randle Dante Dvenenzo Mike Connley the 17th pick in two seconds for Kevin Durant so you give up your lead guard to Mike Connley that’s then going to lead to either Rob Dillingham having to step in in a big way or you just you know hope that you can find someone for free for agency on like a vet minimum i mean maybe Chris Paul ends up getting waved by the San Antonio Spurs or you know he just decides to go ahead and walk in for agency like there’s ways that can go and you try and bring in like a CP3 to be your point guard that you just tried the really old point guard experiment not that Chris Paul’s anywhere near as washed as Mike Connley is at this point um you get the 17th overall pick if you’re Phoenix again nice draft pick to have there two seconds dante is a really good role player and then Joyce Randall who was really good this past season and had a really good playoff run up until the Western Conference Finals and the Wolves get Kevin Durant and you then have a team out there of Anthony Edwards you’ve got Rudy Goar you’ve got KD you hopefully keep Nik Alexander Walker and Nas Reed in this scenario because now you’re not paying Julius Randall although you’re now paying Kevin Durant u but you add in KD to this team a lot more dynamic offensively it’s a lot of pressure off of Anthony Edwards who was just asked to do way too much on the offensive end this season randall did his job i mean Randall again he was the best playoff run of his career i think he had a really good back half of the season but you need a little bit more i think you’re pretty limited when you think about um being the Minnesota Timberwolves and having Randall as your second option going forward so yeah a potential Wolves rotation here you got Ant you got KD you’ve got Jay McDaniels you got Rudy Goar Nas Reik Alexander Walker a really really good top six you try and see if Rob Dillingham could maybe step up and be a seventh man maybe give some minutes to Terrence Shannon Jr who looked really good at moments there in the playoffs or um a Jaylen Clark who had some some moments i’m sure of course you know you want to try and bring in a point guard you can’t just only have Rob Dillingham and then ask like Anthony Edwards to facilitate facilitate some of the times um so yeah I think overall this would make the Bulls better nas starting i mean yeah it’d be very interesting to see if they try and go with like a jumbo jumbo ball approach walls are giving the Suns Nas for KD the only issue with that is that Nas is a free agent so they really can’t do that unless Nas for some reason accepts his player option pet to the Clippers i I really don’t even know how I feel about that also the Clippers making the money work for LA is basically impossible with the Clippers i I tried to even put one together for this show but it’s going to take like giving up Zubots and Norman Pal i I just think it would be a terrible idea for the Clippers to be honest but okay let’s go ahead now and rank uh where I think these teams land in terms of the most realistic outcome what do I think are the most realistic spots out of these six for Kevin Durant i do think one of these six spots will likely land KD what was the Spurs trade actually you know what real quick let let’s quickly talk about I’ll I’ll recap the trades for you real quick and then we’ll go into the uh the ranking so for the San Antonio Spurs uh the trade that I had was or sorry let’s start with the Houston Rockets of course uh Rockets Kevin Durant ends up there suns get Jaylen Green dylan Brooks pick 10 2027h Suns first back and a 2029 pick swap also back from Phoenix rockets get their number one guy suns get a young player in Gon Green and they get all their draft capital back including pick 10 in this year’s draft to go ahead and help them push forward to this new era for the Spurs they get Kevin Durant suns get Deon Vel Harrison Barnes pick 13 2027 Hawks first and two pick swaps uh that also is Hawks draft capital so you basically give them everything you have from Atlanta at this point as well as a young scorer in Deon Vel a veteran in Harrison Barnes and then you get KD to be another monster 7 foot score next to Victor Wimbawa and Dearan Fox nuggets get Kevin Durant suns get Michael Porter Jr Zeke Naji Dario Sarge Don Holmes and three pick swaps it’s not my favorite trade in the world the Nuggets don’t have a lot to offer i like the idea of Denver getting a Kevin Durant but I just don’t think they’ve got the assets to really make it happen unless the Suns for some reason are super intrigued by MPJ or Don Holmes the Sixers get uh Kevin Durant Suns get Paul George Adm Bona pick number three 2028 Clippers first and a 2029 Clippers swap it’s pretty much all about the draft capital there but uh not a lot in terms of the players that you’re getting obviously Paul George’s contract is massive the Knicks get Kevin Durant and pick number 29 the Suns get Carl Anthony Towns Pome Dier and a second suns get a younger a really good player in Carl Anthony Towns who was just all NBA knicks get Katie who might fit them a little bit better mitchell Robinson moves to the five full time and then the Wolves get Kevin Durant suns get Julius Randle Dante Dvenenzo Mike Connley picks 17 and two seconds you get another offensive option next to Anthony Edwards you’re gonna have to find a new guard to bring in you’re always gonna have to instead of uh Mike Connley because he’s just washed at this moment um but yeah you get to go ahead and uh bring a really good score and Kevin Durant and now let’s talk about my my destinations in terms of what’s the least likely and most likely i think the least likely spot is the Philadelphia 76ers i just don’t think they’re going to want to take on that Paul George contract and I ultimately do think the Sixers are going to stay a little bit more towards the uh I guess the conservative side is what I’m going for like I don’t think they’re going to go all out for KD and just say screw it you know forget our future with the third overall pick i think they draft somebody and maybe revisit at the deadline if they’re playing really well and they feel like that guy who got traded uh could more likely be moved or the guy that they drafted could more likely be moved in favor of trying to compete at the moment um also in that bottom tier I have the Denver Nuggets because again the trade package is just not the best like neither one of these teams have a ton to offer i do think the Sixers have more to offer overall but I I don’t know i It just doesn’t feel like that’s the way Daryl my is going to play with this uh at least with the Denver Nuggets I think this is a move they would go ahead and make i just don’t really think they have the capital the assets to uh go out there and get Kevin Durant nearly as uh likely as some of these other teams which brings me to the next team on this list and that is the Minnesota Timberwolves i think it’s a maybe for Minnesota i just think again it’s going to be difficult because you need Julius Reynold to opt into his player option which I don’t think he’s going to do i mean maybe you could convince him if the Suns are like yeah we’ll definitely pay you but that’s going to have to be a stipulation of the trade and also it just it guts the roster and I feel like making the money work because then you still had Kevin Durant’s money onto the books and now it’s like okay are we still able to pay Nas Reed and Alexander Walker i like the idea a lot of KD in Minnesota i just think logistically it’s hard to really come together uh next one I have in the maybe tier here are the uh the New York Knicks i do think the Knicks have a shot and this does feel like a trade they would absolutely pursue i mean we’ve heard you know reports that they went after it at the deadline that they have interest that Katie has interest in playing with that team at least according to Shams and that that’s a guy I trust that’s a guy I trust to make accurate reports so I do think the Knicks are in the running for Kevin Durant i don’t know if it’s you know male and Josh Hart or if it’s Carl Anthony Towns i I really don’t know what that package looks like but sounds like that is something that could potentially happen and with them firing Tom Tibido now going out there and trying to steal Jason Kit away it feels like the Knicks are really going for it all and trading for Kevin Durant I do think is part of that potential plan and then at the top we have the uh the San Antonio Spurs I think are the second most likely team second most realistic to land Kevin Durant i just feel like uh when you have WBY on this current contract where he’s not making much money it makes all the sense in the world to go out there and try and land some type of star katie gives you a lot of offensive versatility a really good scoreer to put next to Darren Fox and Wemby a really good shooter as well which opens up the court a lot for Wem and uh Fox neither of whom are i guess WMBB is becoming more of a knockdown shooter but for Fox it’s it’s up and down a little bit here for him as well as you know Stefon Castle isn’t the most reliable shooter in the world and then finally I think the Rockets are obviously the most realistic destination for Kevin Durant when you have the Suns picks you’re always going to be at the front of the line like I feel strongly that KD getting traded the most likely destination is Houston the only thing that throws off a little bit is that the timelines don’t really match up with this very young team and Kevin Durant who’s in his mid-30s but again Kevin Durant’s not someone that I’m expecting to take a big step back anytime soon even if he starts to decline a little bit it’s still Kevin Durant you know he still went out there and had a hyperefficient 25 plus point per game scoring season and he would have been all NBA if he didn’t end up dealing with an injury at the end of the year so yeah I think KD makes all the sense in the world for Houston they have the assets that I believe that the Suns would want and they’re looking for a number one guy which they absolutely should so yeah this is my list of teams I think makes sense for Kevin Durant from most realistic to least likely uh appreciate youall tuning in to NBA Daily as always I’ve been Con here as your host um and
