Missed Travel? π
i’m not going to lie when I first saw this play I thought it looked like one too many steps but let’s break it down and see what actually happened here he first touches the ball but he doesn’t have full control you can see he’s bobbling it once he secures the ball he’s got one foot down that’s a zero step on NBA and Fibo levels he takes two steps after making it legal on those levels but not legal in high school because they don’t have the zero

Dude, when did travel rules suddenly become like turns in Magic the Gathering? No ref that was my upkeep step.
Clear travel
So basically… 1=0 so 3=2? The nba changing rules to allow for more scoring is one thing but changing math to do so is something different entirely. And watching a sport that has changed it's rules to try to get younger viewers interested is just disgusting. No lotalty to the game or the fans, only to the dollar smh. But y'all go ahead and keep giving it to them, I guess π€·
I think they should just stop dribbling at this point, or create a second league where itβs actually basketball
It should still be 1 step. As it was for MANY DECADES. If modern basketball players can't hack that…
Then they are just NOT as good as those who came before.
Still a travel.
Just one more reason why I pay zero attention to ball and stick sports anymore.
BS rules.
And BS officials.
And BS players.
I feel very validated after years of swearing the refs were blind to traveling π
Just hold the ball and run.
π₯²ππ
Anything over 2 steps should be called a travel period no matter what level of the sport.
Bro how the hell is anyone supposed to see this in the middle of a game? I barely caught it watching in slow motion
Soon players will be bobbling balls full court without dribbling… π
You're not gonna lie?
Thatβs dumb
Zero step?! This is bs
Traveling is legal in the NBA,
Thatβs a travel
I can t stop smiling watching this
Watch every open transition dunk in the nba I guarantee 50% of them are travels
Nba is ridiculous
No, that was definitely a travel
Good..
this is as bad as golf. Why make the game easier for top level competition?
I can t stop smiling watching this
I mean from my perspective he walked from the 3pt line to the hoop so
Basically if you have MJ's mitts you can catch the ball with 1 hans and keep on tossing the ball up in the air til you reach the rim taking 10 stepsπ
No control is a silly rule
Zero step? Ok. But what about the 4 afterwards?
Zero step aka the "Gather step" is invented because Lebron always needed that extra step or else whistles would be blown every Lebron game..
0 step equals legalised travelling. This is like if soccer legalised 0 touch handball
On the playground that's a travel
Oh
5524
It used to be the NBA didnβt allow this travel like High School. NBA is hot garbage now
They all traveling now
I hate these new rules. Once it hits your palm it should be considered secured. Itβs not football this is basketball. Doing way too much nowadays
just make travelling legal atp
Just bobble the ball down the court so you never have to dribble
Yeah I like the Joker but he was traveling and brought his luggage
Modern basketball: the zero step. The Eurostep. The stepback. Hop step. Side step. Gather step.
Old school: the travel.
You zoomers donβt even know what ball is πππ
This makes so much sense after a bunch of idiots told me NBA only allows two steps and I always lost my mind over clips having three. They didn't count the zero step I guess π
Definitely three steps
This shouldn't be legal.
He walked.
Just change the rules for no dribbling needed might as well
Still travelling
