so could the Phoenix Suns be trading away Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets this 2025 NBA off seasonason well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net the link to this article is down below in case you want to check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Houston Rockets receiving Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns receiving Dylan Brooks Jabari Smith Jr Reed Shepard Jock Landale a 2027 first from Brooklyn and a 2029 first round draft pick from either Dallas or Phoenix now my initial thoughts are is that this is not nearly enough of a package uh for the Rockets to put together for a Kevin Durant trade to happen there’s been a lot of speculation about the Rockets um wanting to get Kevin Durant this off season and there’s been lots of speculation recently and even some reporting recently that the Suns are looking to move Kevin Durant prior to the draft and they want to get back some draft capital this year and the 10th overall draft pick which the Rockets possess would have to be in this deal you would think that either Sangon uh but more likely Jaylen Green would of course be involved in a trade heading back to uh to to to Phoenix i think if you’re Phoenix you want to get back a legit blue chip player a top- end draft pick as well which in a deep draft this year uh the 10th overall draft pick could be pretty valuable those first round draft picks in the future uh would have some value as well and I think that this is honestly it’s on the right idea for a trade package if you ask me but realistically speaking it would have to include the first round draft pick this year and one of Jaylen Green or Alpin Sangun in my opinion uh for the for the Rockets to even I guess get close to making a trade for Kevin Durant so could I see Kevin Durant traded this off season absolutely could I see him going to Houston absolutely as well i keep an eye on the Spurs or the Rockets as kind of the likely suitors for Durant in my opinion uh but as I mentioned before if you’re the Suns I’d have to get back Jaylen Green or Sangon and the first round draft pick this year and in order to get the talk started uh in regards to a Kevin Durant Houston Rockets trade so without a doubt just based off this trade proposal I think the Rockets win this trade no questions asked if they’re able to you know retain those players plus the draft pick and get Kevin Durant that is an absolute steal in my opinion but as always leave your thoughts

The Rockets don't want KD. Phoenix would love to trade him to the Rockets because we have young talent and thier draft picks but, no deal will happen because Houston doesn't want KD. the media seems intent on forcing the Rockets hand reporting this story over and over but, Houston's not stupid. KD ISN'T WORTH EVEN HALF THIS PACKAGE. he will be 37yo next season making 54 million in the final year of his contract, he's injury prone and is a locker room cancer. while he still plays well sooner or later father time will run him down and I wouldn't want to be the one holding that 54 dollar salary when he does
