only way that I’m making sense of this in my own head and I’m I’m wondering what your think of this is that the Eastern Conference people are looking around and saying if the Pacers can do it then we can too And the New York Knicks felt like we were this close So maybe if we make a little change because we can’t change our starting lineup that much because we have so much invested in all of these players That’s the way that I’m making sense of this What about you I would hope that one of the other reasons this change is being made is because you got a superstar like a Jiannis Anthonyo that wants to come to New York and he would have desired changes and he might have articulated that That’s just wishful fantasy kind of thinking on my part I have no evidence of that whatsoever I’m just I’m just throwing that in the mix to coincide or piggyback off of what you just articulated Of course with the Star Liner being what it is there’s very little movement that you can do Oanna Nobi Josh Hart all of these guys Jaylen Brun what he’s getting paid Muel Bridges you brought him here We get that Mitchell Robinson obviously we get that part too But in the end if you’re stuck it’s because Leon Rose decided to give up all of those assets And maybe that’s a good enough reason for you to go in a direction a different direction from Tom Thibido because we need a different kind of coach a coach with a different style Maybe the players articulated that you know what we want to hear a new voice as well because we’re tired of playing for Tibs We don’t know definitively whether or not that was the case but I can tell you in my experience covering the NBA that’s definitely plausible Still in all Leon Rose needs to stand before the media and answer them damn questions for the public because the public has a right to

He doesn’t have no superior offensive system or should I say a winning championship offensive system? It’s sad how he got away with this for so long and he got a fat paycheck every time, but the only thing that got fat was him meaning he wasn’t in shape himself he didn’t care to show an example and he was garbage his bench coaches proved that the whole time he was a coach his bench coaches did his job.

2 seasons running them 40 minutes and you dont change or adapt, coaching is changing on the fly to adjust to the game, but two seasons he cannot do that, coach how he wants on another team but not my knicks
The head coach should have never been fired. The players are the one that played bad I know it's it's his responsibility but he didn't play the game. Indiana played better.
Why the hell is anyone defending Tibbs as a “good coach”? Everyone and their dog was saying that he runs his players into the ground and that he doesn’t utilize his bench. That’s his MO and it’s gotten him fired twice before. If you are a coach and the whole world knows that it’s not sensible to run your players into the ground, why the hell do you keep doing it? If a philosophy has gotten you fired twice and has not gotten you a championship, doesn’t a good coach reconsider the philosophy rather than double down on it only to get fired a third time? I’m sorry, but a good coach isn’t a stubborn close minded coach.
