so could the Milwaukee Bucks be trading away Jiannis Antono to the Houston Rockets this 2025 NBA off season well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from bleacherreport.com the link to this article is down below for you to check out for yourself if you want so this trade would see the Houston Rockets trading Fred Van Fleet Aman Thompson a 2027 first round draft pick from Phoenix a 2028 first round pick swap a 2030 first round pick and a 2032 first round draft pick to the Milwaukee Bucks for Giannis Antmpo so in my personal opinion uh the Rockets could very well be the favorites to land Giannis this off season all signs point towards him if he is in fact made available going to Texas so this could be the Spurs probably not the Mavericks but possibly them or the Houston Rockets i would kind of keep the Rockets and the Spurs as my two teams I would keep an eye on for Giannis and this is what it would have to take to get them like I think in a perfect world if you’re uh if you’re Milwaukee you’d want to get back two of the three in regards to Thompson uh Sangon or Jaylen Green now in this scenario you get Aman Thompson who’s a very valuable player fred Van Vleet too is a very solid player as well he’d probably be dealt in a future trade um I would think if that’s the case but you’re getting back some good draft capital as well like a first round draft pick from the Phoenix Suns in 2027 that could possibly be in the lottery um a first round pick swap and those draft picks down the road might not be anything crazy with Giannis down in Houston but it could be pretty good like from Houston’s perspective uh if you want to add a star player Giannis is that guy if you believe that you have some good supporting pieces like Zangon like Jaylen Green and the rest of this Rockets roster they’re coached pretty well as well uh with Eme Odoka they could very well be a championship team next year but if you’re the Milwaukee Bucks uh getting back Aman Thompson is a step in the right direction the draft capital’s pretty good as well but uh does this move the needle for me it’s hard to say it’s good value on paper but I think that at the end of the day you know the Rockets still keep a lot of their core together and if they add Giannis to the mix they could very easily be a championship team not only in 2026 but beyond that as well so in my So in my personal opinion the winner of this deal would be the Houston Rockets but as always leave your thoughts
