so could the Milwaukee Bucks be trading away Giannis Anttompo to the Brooklyn Nets this 2025 NBA offseason well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from Fadeaway World.net the link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Brooklyn Nets receiving Giannis Antompo and the Milwaukee Bucks receiving Nick Claxton Cam Johnson Zire Williams in a signing trade a 2026 firstround draft pick a 2030 first round draft pick and a 2031 first round draft pick so if Giannis does go to the Bucks and say I want to get traded I want to get traded now i fully do expect the Brooklyn Nets to be in on the Giannis and Takoupo trade conversations now the only question mark that I sort of have is does the Brooklyn Nets have what it takes to put together a competitive package for Giannis in my opinion probably not compared to some other teams out there uh like the Mavericks the Rockets and even the Spurs some other teams as well that come to mind uh could probably put together a competitive trade package so this is sort of the best the Nets can offer um Claxton Johnson Williams definitely do carry some good trade value and this would be good assets to get back in return for the Bucks in regards to uh players that can help you win now and those draft picks down the road probably nothing super significant uh but you are getting three first round picks nonetheless so the package does sort of check off the boxes there in regards to current assets and future assets but if you’re the Bucks you don’t really have that super high-end player in regards to you know you’re getting rid of Giannis you want to get back that in return so if you can get back like a first or second overall draft pick from either the Mavericks or the Spurs or some of the Rockets players like Sangon Thompson or Jaylen Green those would probably leaprog this package in my opinion now if you’re honest going to the Brooklyn Nets just doesn’t really intrigue me too much because the whole point of leaving the Bucks would be to win a championship and if you were to go to the Milwaukee Bucks but they give up all the good players to get you plus future draft picks this team’s pretty dry as it kind of stands right now so Giannis would be in a pretty similar situation to where he is right now in Milwaukee and I’m just not too sure this makes too much sense in my opinion uh for Giannis to want to go to the Brooklyn Nets so do I expect the Nets to be aggressive yes does this trade make sense to me probably not uh so for those reasons I would say the Milwaukee Bucks probably win this trade just because if you’re Giannis you’re going to the Brooklyn Nets and you’re sort of in the same situation you are now but those are just my thoughts leave yours down below
