He won’t make the same mistake twice…

messiah Jerry will not be making this mistake again as we’ve all been watching the NBA Finals Andrew Nemhard a Canadian who was linked to the Toronto Raptors during his draft class absolutely tear it up and now his younger brother Ryan Nemhardt has come up through the college ranks and is declaring for the NBA draft and the Raptors once again are selecting around the projected area where Ryan Nehart will be selected now of course Andrew Nehart did not end up coming to the Toronto Raptors he ended up going a couple spots before even though there were some rumblings i remember on draft night because of course Andrew Nehart a Canadian a guy everyone was looking at excited about coming into the NBA was projected was rumored was linked to the Toronto Raptors he ended up going a couple picks before the Raptors ended up going but Messiah Juri not letting this slip once again as we have some new reports about the Raptors interest in bringing in his little brother so we’re going to break down what’s going on with the second round pick what we can expect from this Raptors team in this year’s second round and frankly why the Raptors may have a steal on their hands in Orion Nehart the same way Andrew Nehe was for the Indiana Pacers back in 2022 so lots of stuff to break down this video folks you won’t miss a single thing going on with the Scrafter team it has been an absolutely insane off season so far make sure you guys hit that subscribe button over 47% haven’t hit the sub button just yet we want to keep you up to date with everything that’s going on with this team but let’s jump into it because if you’re not familiar if you haven’t been watching you know the NBA Finals Andrew Nehard a Canadian 25 years old young has just been a monster you know this season averaged 10 points per game 3.3 rebounds five assists per night and while the efficiency isn’t uh you know probably where you wanted to be he’s been able to knock down some extremely clutch shots he’s picking up the ball handlers full court these entire playoffs and has really been a mainstay in terms of why the Indiana Pacers were able to make the NBA finals that’s who Andrew Nemhart is if you’re not familiar with this game and basically he is a guy that uh during his time at Gonzaga there were a lot of rumors based off where the Toronto Raptors were drafting about Nemhart you know ended up getting selected by the Raptors you can see he ended up going number 31 overall while Christian Klo ended up being the selection at number 33 now the Raptors are rumored to try a tradeoff for him to try to make some moves there were some options for the Toronto Raptors to navigate their way to select Andrew Nemhart with that uh 31 overall selection but it did not happen messiah Jury decided to go in the direction of staying with Christian Koko in fact we traded away a draft pick that uh was in the late first round earlier in that season to essentially uh you know give up the option you know for the Raptors to be able to draft Andrew Nehe and of course when they had to go with Christian Glo it wasn’t a bad pick by any means but of course dealt with some health issues that really derailed his NBA career so Andrew Neymar why are we bringing him up about the context of this well as we discussed his younger brother is up for uh this year’s NBA draft and the Raptors are currently linked to him as basically news has come out that uh the Pacers other Canadian Nhard finished with 11 points four assists and three steals in 34 minutes his brother Ryan a senior point guard out of Gonzaga is expected to be having a pre-draft workout with the Toronto Raptors on Monday so the Raptors right now are doing their due diligence in terms of trying to bring in the the younger brother the PG out uh you know from the Name Hard family and uh it’s a very interesting prospect one of the more interesting prospects around the range of where the Toronto Raptors are selecting in this upcoming NBA draft in the second round of course he’s not going to get selected with the first one so who is Ryan Nhard you know he’s six he’s six foot tall he’s from Aurora 180 pounds and he’s a senior out there in college so diving into his stats a little bit more in terms of uh you know his profile and everything basically over the course of his college career he uh didn’t take any crazy leaps in regards to his uh you know points per game in fact his points per game ended up going down over the course of his college career but what did increase significantly is his threepoint shooting percentage and his abil ability to facilitate and be that lead man that lead guard out there on the court you know in his senior season averaged 11 points per game you know nearly 10 assists three rebounds and shot 40% from behind the three-point line so you might look at this and oh he regressed he regressed this time whatever he got more efficient over the course of his college career he became a better shooter and the big areas where he came into his own as a basketball player were his ability to really run a team to facilitate you know to really just set up his teammates and you know do everything you need out there at that point guard position and you might look at this and again you see the six foot frame you’re like how is this guy going to succeed out there in the NBA that’s tough that’s a small guard out there in the league but he is a guy that is uh really well regarded in terms of his leadership his ability to facilitate and do just do winning plays do winning things out there for that Zaga team last similar to what Nemar does because again we took a look at the Andrew Nimhart stats you know on the box score all that stuff-wise you might look at him and be like “Oh this guy is inefficient he’s not great he’s not whatever.” But you watch him play and you clearly see how he impacts winning and Ryan Nemhart has similar characteristics in those lines now he’s rejected to go about 10 picks after the Toronto Raptors are selecting again the second round mock drafts are always a bit of a crapshoot in terms of where players are actually going to go because it’s tough right it’s you’re going to have different scouting reports no consensus the draft is going to be in a bunch of different orders so he is in that range where it’s feasible the Toronto Raptors are going to select could select him with their 39th overall selection and basically you know you you look at his sort of athleticism everything in ter dive in terms of everything that’s going on he’s not like you know he’s 6 foot his his NBA combine metrics doesn’t have a crazy high vertical doesn’t have a crazy wingspan nothing along those lines screams like oh top tier A1 steel prospector anything like that and even his three-point shooting percentage 40% % from the three-point line last season but only a 2.7 attempts per game so not taking a super high volume but is you know carried the load out there for that Gonzaga team was the leader was the bonafide guy out there on the team and if we take a look at kind of the pros and cons in terms of what he’s able to do out there you know on the court for uh Gonzaga last season he is a a guy that a lot of people really like just manning your point guard spot so uh you know we’ll get the right list out there so the strengths of Ryan Nehart he has elite vision and as a as a decision maker and that’s exactly what you’re looking for out there at that point guard position a guy that can facilitate a guy that can make your teammates better and come in and really have an impact on winning games he has a high assist to turnover ratio you know fitting you know his discipline out there at the point guard position he’s a confident leader with poise and he has improved spot-up shooting so he has improved i mean he’s shooting 40% his decision-m is impeccable he’s just mature he can come in and frankly regardless of if he’s on the Toronto Raptors or not I think he’ll be able to lead a bench unit out there in the NBA without a doubt he’s a solid three-point shooter he can run a floor or he command a team but of course any prospect going in the second round there are some weaknesses so he’s very undersized guard we took a look at his you know intangibles wingspan height all that type of stuff he’s not a great finisher at the rim and uh he has below a average athleticism and burst so those are a couple things you know especially for a smaller guard you’d love to see you know as we saw with Isaiah Thomas of course he’s bigger than Isaiah Thomas isaiah Thomas about 5’7 5’8 but Isaiah Thomas in his prime he had an extremely fast burst and he was a strong guy like you might look at him and not be like “Oh he’s you know Derek Rose or something like that but he had a very quick first step and that allowed him to average 30 points per game for a season.” So of course Nimhart is taller and has a different skill set but doesn’t have that crazy burst that would get him to the basket get him to different areas and then he can’t create an isolation so he’s not much of a shot creator in those sense he’s a spot-up shooter his three-point shooting is as a spot-up shooter and usually for these smaller guards you want to see those guys be able to create shots off the dribble same way like a Fred Vanita Kyle Lowry developed into when they were tearing it up for the Toronto Raptors in the prime of their career so again a guy that’d be coming in being a mature steady presence out there off your bench in uh you know these teams frankly I’m not sure that it’s the perfect launcher now taking a fly especially we’re not sure where these players you take the best talent available out there in the second round you just uh don’t worry about positional fit but of course I’ve been made it known i’m a shed head out here on the channel i believe in Jamal Shed as that piece and the Raptors took a similar pick last year jamal Shed as like a Ryan Gamer who There’s questions about the jump shot there’s questions about size there’s questions about all that but they just play a high level of basketball in terms of IQ in terms of positional awareness in terms of just being able to come out and lead a team at the point guard spot and frankly that’s the most important thing to do if you’re a point guard you want a guy that’s going to be able to come in manage your team be the coach on the court for your squad you know if Darker Rayovich is trying to run something with the bench unit having your PG just be able to run things run the show and that’s something Nemhart would be capable of doing and frankly if his uh you know older brother is any indication definitely a guy I would not want to sleep on if I was a GM out there in the NBA and Messiah Jur is taking him in for a workout and definitely going to be doing his due diligence he’s not going to be making the same mistake as before as to let a NHR brother slide if there’s any opportunity for upside so let me know what you guys think about all this in the comments section down below do you want to see the Toronto Raptors draft Nhard with their second second round pick not second overall pick goodness gracious anyways you guys the best i’m signing out cheers

  1. Ryan reminds me very much of younger Jose Calderon before he got injured and lost a step. That style of play is also a lot like early fvvv – albeit with a very different body type .Gonzaga preaches a pass first point guard system always have.

I am not mad if this is our second round pick .

I still think the Raptors are going to make a move and end up with another middle first round pick
