What Happened to the 6 Players Drafted Before Steph Curry?

what happened to the six players drafted before Steph Curry with the first pick the Clippers chose Blake Griffin while Blake didn’t have much team success he built a pretty decent career out for himself and he was a clear number one pick at the time the Grizzlies with the second pick took one of the riskiest prospects in the draft with the Sheen Tabiv he was a raw talent who was a defensive menace in college but he turned out to be a bust a total liability on both ends of the floor and he had cinder blocks for feed james Harden would go third overall to the Thunder while he would go on to win an MVP he fell short against the Warriors multiple times in his career with the fourth pick the Kings took Tyreek Evans tyreek would actually win rookie of the year beating out Curry but his career took a turn for the worst after he got injured minnesota now had back-to-back picks and they took Ricky Rubio who became a longtime vet and he was a great role player but with their next pick they took another guard which did not turn out great they took Johnny Flynn over Curry and Flynn was out of the league by 2012 finally with the seventh pick in the draft the Warriors took Curry and he became the greatest shooter of all

  2. It took him awhile. Dude had the weakest ankles in the league. Fortunately for him they saw something in him and gave him a chance cause they could have easily written him off his first couple years

  3. I'm 59 years old so I've seen some awesome players but Steph Curry my all-time favorite basketball player

  4. I know that curry is a really good shooter but for me Larry Bird will allways be the all time best shooter

  5. Blake and Harden were definitely not busts and you really can’t blame them for taking them as high as they did. Curry also wasn’t “Curry” for a few years. Nobody thought his ankles would last.

  6. bro was critical as hell about the harden pick but spoke about rubio as if that was a slam dunk

  7. For me and this is my opinion if you have yours keep it to your self. This is the most accurate for me Curry the best shooter of all time but in his era. He is not the best player but the best shooter.

  8. The NY Knicks have a place in their starting five for Blake Griffin. Griffin had an interesting career and he could score and shoot.

  9. From what I heard, a lot of teammates and coaches had a lot good to say about Hasheem after a vid I saw, which he was basically a bizarro version of Ben Simmons, had the mindset and drive yet not the skills and talent

  10. Can’t talk about James harden coming up short against “the greatest shooter of all time” it’s not his fault bro

  11. i remember the hype of Ricky Rubio , all eyes was also on him in the spanish team in the olympics.
