so could the Atlanta Hawks be trading away Trey Young to the Sacramento Kings this 2025 NBA off seasonason well here on the screen is a tweet on X from Fullcourt Press which says “The Atlanta Hawks have spoke with the Sacramento Kings about a Trey Young trade per Grant Absth.” Now Trey Young has been talked about in trade rumors this off season as a potential thing that could happen uh maybe even closer to the 2025 NBA draft Now in my personal opinion I don’t think the Hawks are going to trade Trey Young quite yet Um I think they’re going to wait one more season kind of play it out see what happens But I think a Trey Young trade out of out of Atlanta especially if this team continuously misses the playoffs and doesn’t show signs of improvement could very well happen And the Sacramento Kings actually do make some sense in my opinion in regards to a landing spot Now the Kings have three pretty valuable assets in regards to maybe middle to older players Uh that of course is Zack Lavine Damontus Sabonis and uh Demar D Roan And so if Trey Young were to get traded over to the Sacramento Kings I could see a world where this trade is more centered around maybe more of a basketball trade uh where one of those three players are heading back to Atlanta’s way Maybe some draft capital like especially too if it’s someone like Demar De Rozan He’s an older player Yeah he’s still playing at a pretty high level but I could see a world where it’s Demar D Rozan Maybe some draft picks uh for Trey Young And in that scenario they kind of have would have a big three of Trey Young to kind of replace Hallebertton who of course they traded away to Indiana for Sabonis Tamman Sabonis and Zack Leavine is kind of their big three there So I think Sacramento wants to shake up the roster this off season I’m sure if it’s up to them they would rather get back a player like a Trey Young and maybe go through the route of a basketball trade Um as compared to getting a futures package and just kind of being stuck in the rebuild especially too they have three pretty valuable assets in my personal opinion And if they can’t make the next step as an organization you know getting to the playoffs going on a bit of a run they’re going to have to blow things up And I think getting back Trey Young would be a sign of desperation truthfully Uh but if it works out this could be a pretty cool fit for Trey Young and the Sacramento Kings So those are just kind of my thoughts What do you guys think a Trey Young Sacramento Kings trade were to look like if it were to happen leave all your thoughts down below Thanks again for watching and I’ll see you in the next one
