Dennis should've been named the series MVP. His defensive prowess, rebounds, and general gamesmanship were apparent throughout that series. Michael was being tightly defended by the glove and not his usual dominant self due to his father dying. The glove REALLY bothered MJ in the 1st 3 games though. It's just that the bulls had an answer with Pippen, Rodman, Harper, Kukoc, Kerr, and their own glove, Brown.
The bulls still went to 3-0 on this team though. Regardless of the gloves defense. And the Bulls team defense was better by far. When they squashed them defensively for 3 games straight, they needed a breather though and that's the ONLY reason Seattle managed to eak out those two wins.
There's another possibility though… The networks needed the Bulls to back off for a few games to get their ad revenue. This was definitely the case against Utah in the next 2 championship series.

Hustle plays, 50/50 loose balls, and timely rebounds don't get you a 3-0 lead in the NBA Finals with an average margin of victory over 14 points.
