so could the Utah Jazz be trading away Luri Markin into the Los Angeles Lakers this 2025 NBA offseason well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net the link to this article is down below in case you want to check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Los Angeles Lakers receiving Lori Markin and the Utah Jazz receiving Austin Reeves Ruie Hatchima Jared Vanderbilt a 2025 555th overall draft pick and a 2031 first round draft pick now in my personal opinion I think Lori Markin could definitely be traded this off season so the fact that he is involved in trade proposals trade ideas etc isn’t really that much of a surprise but what is a big time surprise to me is how much it would actually cost to acquire him now Lori Markin didn’t have himself you know the best of years for his sake last year he’s had better years in the past so hypothetically speaking his value wouldn’t really be at an all-time high he’s also an expensive player as well but he does fit a lot of teams needs especially for the Los Angeles Lakers you want help in your front court Larin can be that guy so that’s a step in the right direction for them in regards to a positional upgrade now if I’m the Utah Jazz I would be ecstatic if I’m turning Lori Markin into Austin Reeves Ruie Hatchima Jared Vanderbilt a second round pick this year and most importantly a 2031 first round drafting from a team in Los Angeles that’ll look drastically different by then i think all indication is that LeBron James probably won’t be in the mix by then so at that point who knows who knows how good this team could be but Austin Reeves is a very valuable player there’s definitely a possibility that he has shot this off seasonason in order to get back some help in the front court so I guess in theory if you’re going to trade Austin Reeves you want to get back a power forward or a center but I think that this just a little bit too rich for my blood in my personal opinion um if I am uh the or if I am the Los Angeles Lakers because you’re acquiring a player that I guess in theory helps you win now but Austin Reeves this guy can ball like this guy’s a tremendous player plus the draft capital plus roster players like Jared Vanderbilt good 3 and D guy Ruy Hatchimura solid option as well it just seems a little bit too um lucrative of a package in my opinion uh for my liking if I’m a Lakers fan so if I’m uh deciding who wins this trade or who doesn’t I would go with the Utah Jazz as the winners of this deal but as always leave your thoughts
