so could the Utah Jazz be trading away Walker Kesler to the Los Angeles Lakers this 2025 NBA off seasonason well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net the link to this article is down below in case you want to check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Los Angeles Lakers receiving Walker Kesler and the Utah Jazz receiving Dalton Connect a 2031 first round pick and the 55th overall draft pick this year’s NBA draft so in my personal opinion this is actually a pretty reasonable and a pretty fair trade for both sides now if you kind of uh go back in time a little bit to the NBA trade deadline there was a trade in place that looked very similar uh involving Mark Williams of the Charlotte Hornets so the Lakers are definitely willing to give up Dalton Connect and some draft capital uh for a starting caliber center which in this scenario Walker Kesler can very well be that guy now Walker Kesler has turned into quite the player uh since being traded over to the Utah Jazz a couple years ago like defensively speaking this guy’s tremendous he can collect a lot of rebounds uh be a threat below the basket defensively speaking and just sort of adds an element to this Lakers lineup that is sort of lacking so defensively speaking he’d be a big-time ad for them uh and a good presence to bring to the team now I know the Lakers have some pretty high hopes for Dalton Connect and that 2031 first is pretty valuable but at this point in time your goal as a franchise is to win a championship with LeBron James still in the mix they of course have Luca on the team as well and kind of adding a defensive presence especially in their front court like this team needs a starting caliber center walker Kesser can be that guy not only for the short term but you can extend them for the long term as well so if you’re the Utah Jazz it’s honestly a pretty fair package i would probably want to see if I can get back if possible Austin Reeves as compared to Dalton Connect but if you believe in Dalton Connect and that first round draft pick that could be good enough for them to do some business and flip Walker Kesler to the Lakers so in my personal opinion the winner of this deal I’m actually going to go with the Lakers just from a positional upgrade perspective but uh it’s a pretty fair deal and as always leave your thoughts
