currently the Rockets have the 10th pick in next month’s NBA draft 2025 NBA draft did some checking did some research dorian Sirino and everyone watching on YouTube at the Houston Round Ball Review YouTube channel as well as on Facebook at the Houston Round Ball Review Facebook page did you know did you know this since 2000 the 10th pick in the NBA draft look at those names from 2000 Keon Dueling 01 Joe Johnson 02 Karan Butler 03 Jarvis Hayes 2004 Luke Jackson 2005 Andrew Binham 2006 Muhammad Cena 07 Spencer Halls 2008 Brooke Lopez 09 Brandon Jennings 2010 Paul George so that first group from 2000 2010 some good players some help some really good players ranging from good to great 2011 Jim Ferdet 12 Austin Rivers 13 CJ McCollum 14 Ellsworth Peyton 15 Justice Winslow a guy Lewis award winner 2016 Thawn Maker 17 Zack Collins 18 Male Bridges 19 Cam Reddish 20 Jaylen Smith 21 Zire Williams 22 Johnny Davis 23 Kase Wallace 2024 Cody Williams so you see those names those names that’s what 25 years were picked with the 10th pick in their respective NBA draft i wanted to get comments like this from Dorian your thoughts on it at the 10th spot it’s kind of hit or miss paul George was the only one that’s it standouts you know Karan Butler had a long career iso Joe solid career hell of a a big three career keon Dueling but the 10th pick probably you could argue more misses than hits but a good number of solid decent to solid NBA careers in this group if the Rockets stay at 10 as Rocket fans are you okay do these names give you confidence that the Rockets will find someone who can crack the uh eight/9 rotation or is there too many misses out of these this list that’s like man might as well trade this pick and get some more assets what do you think sirino says “Did not impressive.” Like I said Paul George the best of the lot but there’s there’s some misses in this in this list sirino says most of these players had staying power in the NBA but is that good enough for you if you’re a Rocket fan is that good enough is staying power just is good enough for you as Rockets fan to just have staying power dorian exclaims “We need to trade the pick for who trade in what way trade down for future assets be part of a package to move up in the draft do you have someone in mind you like the Rockets to get what do you think trade up trade down trade the pick for assets well into the future 203132 kind of thing or is there someone Dorian Sirino that you have in mind specifically that you like the Rockets to get in this draft who won’t be available at 10 because they’ll be gone so if you need to move up in the first round to get that player your your top choice and clearly it’s not going to be Cooper Flag and it won’t be anybody you know Mr harper Dylan Harper Ace Bailey Adam well I’m not really a fan of Ace Bailey at three but anyway is there someone in mind that you have you would like the Rockets to select dorian says “Trade up and some cash or one of the per round picks and who do you want them to get who is your choice who do you want the Rockets to get with that with your trade proposal who do you want them to select give me that play because you have you have someone in mind Dorian who is it that you have in mind that you want the rockets to

Shai, Haliburton, Booker, Klay, Mitchell, Giannis, Jalen Williams, Sengun, Derozan, Levine, Sabonis, Herro and Bam are all players drafted near the end of the lottery. Sure there are a bunch of players I am missing. Just saying you could land a big time player with the 10th pick. It's just a lower probability than picking #1 with a generational talent in the draft.
