The Indiana Pacers are an Absolute Nightmare

yo what’s going on y’all it’s Con and the Pacers did it again they are now up 2-1 in the NBA finals on the Oklahoma City Thunder and they did it in very Pacers fashion you got big moments from Tyrese’s Hallebertton you got big time bench performances the depth showed out but specifically they took over in the fourth quarter that’s the way they’ve done it all throughout these playoffs that’s what they did in this game really just wore out OKC uh you could see that the Thunder got tired by the fourth quarter the offense also devolved a little bit which we’ve seen happen at times with this Thunder squad uh to the point where the Pacers outscored OKC by 14 in the fourth quarter and it really was everybody the heroes of this game though like Hallebertton was great again 22 points nine rebounds 11 assists just one rebound off a triple double had four turnovers which is higher for Hallebertton than usual but all in all not too much when you consider again 11 dimes he shot nine of 17 four threes but outside of Hallebertton big heroes of the game Benedict Mathan TJ McConnell tj McConnell’s statline doesn’t look insane 10 points five assists i guess it does with the five steals thrown in there as well and those steals came at timely moments he I think got three inbound steals two of which led to buckets if I remember correctly one of them did not but even still gked up the offense a little bit for OKC hit a couple of big shots um made some big time plays tj McConnell has been kind of up and down and I know there are a lot of Pacers fans that haven’t been super fond of the way he’s played a little bit throughout this run but I mean in this game he was an absolute game changer a plus 12 on the night and it definitely felt like that also Benedict Matan who came into this run as not an afterthought I would say but there have been moments where he’s not really featured all that much despite being the six overall pick a few years back of course last year he was injured for their playoff run so didn’t really get to shine the way that it felt like he could have but in this game I mean he was the hero the biggest reason why Indiana won this game was the play of Benedict Matan 27 points that’s a playoff careerhigh four rebounds one assist nine of 12 shooting two of three from three seven of eight from the free throw line he was drawing contact he was getting and he was having some absolutely insane finishes there were so many moments where I was like there’s no way Matherine hits this shot right and he still found a way to go ahead and do so uh he was unbelievable and this is one of the strengths of the Pacers this is part of why both these teams are here is that they’re incredibly deep and when you can get Benedict Matan who some nights could probably get DNPs throughout the playoffs I’m pretty sure he did at one point and then he can come into a finals game and make an impact like this it’s a massive luxury obi Toppin another guy who again performed eight points six rebounds one assist a couple of blocks four of eight shooting had a huge putback dunk late in the fourth quarter not a crazy statistical game from Nemhard but he had eight points four rebounds one assist played some great defense overall you got 21 six and four with two steals from Seakkum his best game of the final so far uh six on three5 shooting from Aaron Nesmith and the team as a whole shot 52% it wasn’t the best three-point shooting night under 34% for the team but they took care of the ball they got efficient offense i mean less turnovers from Indiana than the Thunder which is probably one of if not the only times that’s happened at all throughout this playoff run i mean as a Thunder fan I’m trying to rack my brain for if that’s happened again i I really don’t think so if it has it wasn’t this big of a margin four more turnovers for the Thunder as opposed to Indiana and that is one of the problems that Indiana did pose is where the Thunder like to create this chaos and force a bunch of turnovers and win the possession battle even if they’re not as efficient as like Indiana if OKC can get like 10 15 more shots and just hit a few more of those that ultimately is a big advantage in favor of the Thunder and it really slows down Indiana forced them to rethink things in this game you know they really didn’t ever feel like they were in danger there were a couple of turnovers like Cruso got one on Hallebertton in the fourth quarter as OKC was trying to make a comeback but it really just hasn’t felt like the Thunder’s pressure has phased Indiana all too much throughout this series it definitely did in the first half of game one and game two it wasn’t like a million turnovers for Indiana but I felt like they felt it in terms of their shot quality in this game they just really weren’t phased whatsoever meanwhile for the Thunder they were definitely a little bit phased that fullcourt pressure it didn’t result in like turnovers in the back court outside of like McConnell stealing those inbound passes but I it did wear down the thunder you could see at the end of the game Sheay was gassed he finished with six turnovers had 24 points by far the lowest scoring total that he’s had of the playoffs up until this point or not the playoffs but the NBA finals up until this point nine of 20 shooting like it wasn’t a terrible game overall it was bad definitely by Shay standards like the Thunder needed more from Shay tonight uh but he played 42 minutes and you could see at the end of the game his hands are on his knees he’s exhausted uh Cet and Jaylen Williams great start for both of them like Cadet finished with 20 points 10 rebounds two assists but six of 15 shooting and a lot of those misses came later in the game where it felt like his legs were giving out a little bit miles Turner was kind of bullying him down low jub finished with the best game out of anybody 26 points six rebounds three assists and a steal did have four turnovers and it felt like most of those at least I remember one big one came in the fourth quarter late a nine of 18 shooting like Dub was probably the best player for the Thunder tonight uh but all in all the Big three it felt like in the fourth quarter just didn’t really have it going kind of the way that they needed to nowhere near the level that Indiana had it going that’s a team that just builds momentum rapidly and finds ways to just hit you over and over again like the Thunder weathered so many punches went into the fourth quarter up five and I’m like “Okay this is where the Thunder go ahead and slam the door shut.” But the Pacers just hung around and part of that were those just sloppy plays from the Thunder which sometimes the offense gets a little bit gked up late in games but the Thunder rarely turn the ball over in those scenarios you know maybe a shot gets blocked or it’s not the best shot selection but they don’t really turn the ball over and it was really all throughout the game just so many uncharacteristic mistakes from this Thunder team which led to them losing the turnover battle in this one you know Indiana was a lot better in terms of transition it felt like as well uh just in general the Pacers played better i I think that’s kind of really what it comes down to and I mean they’ve been a wild machine all throughout these playoffs they are here for a reason and they have showcased it they have stepped up to the challenge ignoring all the people talking about the Thunder being such heavy favorites they are now up 2-1 they’re a game away in Indiana from going up 3-1 on the Thunder who they were massive underdogs to now I’m a Thunder fan but I do think the Thunder are going to bounce back in game four and then game five is really where ultimately the series pivots one way or another maybe I’m wrong maybe the Pacers are just this team of destiny i mean it feels like it sometimes the way that they’re able to just match pretty much any punch that any team has thrown at them so far throughout the playoffs it didn’t matter if it was the Bucks or the 60 plus win Cleveland Cavaliers or the New York Knicks it it hasn’t really mattered like outside of game two against the Thunder like Indiana has been extremely poised through two out of the three games up until this moment the Thunder are gonna have to come with a big punch you know going down 3-1 definitely not ideal against this Indiana team you don’t want to have to try and beat them three times in a row going 3-1 down the finals is not something teams really ever come back from unless you’re the 2016 Cavs and then you do it but yeah um just in general I feel like need a lot more from the big three in those late game moments i mean Shay’s been incredible through the first two games but like like Dub and Chat had such good starts they just really did not have it going late i I felt like the offense kind of devolved and part of that was Indiana’s pressure i mean the the way that this defense has stepped up throughout this playoff run and really throughout the back half of this season has been extraordinary because the Pacers are well known you know from last season going into this year as this high power just give you all types of hell type of offense but the way that they compete on that end whether it’s N Smith or Nemhardt or Seiak or Miles Turner who was three of 11 in this game for just nine points that had five blocks on the night and really stepped up late in this one or Ben Shepard making some big-time plays uh or TJ McConnell like everybody is competing in one way or another on Indiana i mean even Tyresese Hallebertton had two steals in a block and I felt like held up pretty well there were a few moments early game where the Thunder really targeted him and it led to some buckets but in a lot of moments where it mattered Hallebertton stood up and defended fine like as long as he’s not a massive liability on that end as long as he’s serviceable with the defenders and the uh scheme that’s around him they’re going to survive and we saw him make big plays a couple of times in that Cavs series and a couple in the Knicks series hallebertton he does have like you know the wingspan and he’s got a good idea of what to do defensively just sometimes it doesn’t all come together but in this game it came together and it puts them up 2-1 in this series i’m interested to see what changes for the Thunder to respond i feel like the Pacers also did a good job of mixing up coverages of attacking uh Shay and the ball a little bit higher up than they have they’re not giving him this long runway to just go ahead and get downhill get to the basket as easily as Shay has gotten to at other points in the first two games uh they’ve made it a lot more difficult they made it so that the Thunder were overthinking things and I’ve talked about this i talked about this in game one but the Thunder are by far at their best when they’re decisive they are aggressive they’re being physical they are not really shying away from contact or what got them there in the first place like in the first quarter specifically that’s what we were seeing it was Chad being decisive and aggressive and physical Jacob doing the same thing and Shay like everybody it felt like was playing that decisive brand of basketball that Thunder need to play it just kind of faded away like I felt like it popped up again in the third quarter first half of the second quarter disappeared but beginning of the third quarter for the most part i mean even to the end with Dub hitting that big three i also just feel like Jim Williams like he Dub needs to search for his three ball a little bit more um but yeah incredibly impressed with the Pacers and what they did so far i mean both these teams were have been terrible in game threes but the Thunder continue to be more terrible I guess in game threes the Pacers get this big win uh looking forward to game four let me know who you have winning that one again i mean I’m going to say the Thunder going to win and I do believe they’ll bounce back honestly I kind of feel like this series just comes down to who flinches first because both teams have found it pretty much impossible to lose two games in a row throughout the playoffs so far so if the Thunder punch back then it’s game five and this time it’s in OKC but the Pacers don’t lose two games and you know but the Thunder also don’t really lose at home very often so who wins that one like that feels like I mean obviously game five is pivotal but it feels like if it is 2-2 going to that one or obviously if it’s even 3-1 then the Thunder season is literally on the line from every game then on out but I mean yeah if you’re still believing that the Pacers got here by luck and that they don’t actually belong to be here I I don’t know what to tell you anymore because I think it’s uh pretty obvious the Pacers are really really damn good play better than I personally would like uh but I’m sure as a neutral fan I mean these finals have been one of the best that we’ve seen in quite some time cuz you know the last few it feels like have not really delivered the way that we were hoping they would so I’m Yeah I mean shout out to the good basketball hopefully the Thunder bounce back uh Pacers fans shout out to y’all only two wins away now from an NBA finals let me know who you have winning game four what are some big adjustments that you think we need to see that both teams need to make going into the next game what were some of your keys to this match up that maybe I didn’t talk about um yeah for the moment I think that’s all I’ve got i appreciate you all watching leave like and subscribe if you enjoyed hit the notification bell so you don’t miss out on future videos again shout out to the Pacers i mean they they’re putting up one hell of a fight uh we’ll see if the Thunder can respond in game four but for right now I appreciate you all i’ll see you all later real one save back

The Indiana Pacers took game three over the Oklahoma City Thunder to go up 2-1 in the NBA Finals. Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam had their best games yet while TJ Mcconnell and Bennedict Mathurin went out there and changed the game off the bench. It was Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s worst game of the Finals while Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren were huge for the first three quarters and struggled into the fourth as the Pacers again dominated. Despite being underdogs, the Pacers are in a great spot going into game four. Let’s talk about it.

  1. SGA is not nearly the same player if he isnโ€™t getting help from the whistle. The Thunder have a better upside, but lose the battle when it comes to depth.

  2. I really do think Indiana wins 3-1. This is the first time they looked in control of the series. Even the first game they looked a lil shook but now Iโ€™m scared ๐Ÿ‘€

  3. How are people not screaming about Manifest and Receive by Eva Hartley? Iโ€™m genuinely confused. This book cracked something open in me I didnโ€™t even know was blocked. I donโ€™t know how to explain it, but my income doubled in just a few months, and for the first time, I feel like I truly understand how life works.

  4. Pacers are going to win this series, I don't know in how many games, but it's obvious OKC has no answer for the Pacers' superior offense, OFFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS, DEFENSE IS OVERRATED I like Pacers in 6, but it could be Pacers in 5 too.

  5. OKC just looked too tired to defend like they usually do by th end of the game. They have got to slow Indy down or player faster. And Shai, although his numbers look fine, hasnโ€™t been making the impact I thought he would in these games.

  6. I don't really care too much who wins but I hope this goes 7 games. The people that said this was going to be a bad series look real dumb rn

  7. Comment section before the series: okc in 5

Comment section now: Pacers in 6

I need y'all to keep that same energy ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  8. Indyโ€™s bench was the MVP tonight and their defense was elite. OKC deff gon come out aggressive so G4 is gonna be another movie ๐Ÿ”ฅ

  9. Pacers not losing at home they will take the next one. Okc will win at home in game 5 and pacers will win game 6

  10. Let's not banalize the term, OKC doesn't have a Big Three. It's SGA in a league of his own and two good players (although very inconsistent)

  11. Cone sounding irritated in this one ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ sometimes I forget these guys are just as big of fans as we are at the end of the day, if I had to sit up here with a straight face and say nice things about a team that has my teams backs agaisnt the wall, Iโ€™d crashout
