have you ever wondered who’s had the single worst game in the history of the NBA Finals Well the answer is this man right here John Starks who let’s just say had a game to forget in 1994 So to set the stage the 94 finals were between Hakee Lawren’s Houston Rockets and Patrick Ewing and the New York Knicks And the Knicks second leading scoreer that season was all-star guard John Starks who’s famous of course for having a rivalry with Michael Jordan And going into game seven Starks was on a heater Like after struggling in game one he was the Knicks best player in games 2 through six including dropping 27 in game six And then game seven happened Two for 18 from the field 1 for13 in the second half 0 for1 from three and an L with the championship on the line Not great for our guy John But again what people forget is how much Starks had carried the Knicks to even get to at game seven And in my opinion it was really Patrick Ewing who sold by getting outplayed by Hakee all finals
