so could the Philadelphia 76ers be trading away Joel Embiid to the Denver Nuggets this 2025N NBA offseason well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net the link to this article is down below in case you want to check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Denver Nuggets receiving Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers receiving Michael Porter Jr Christian Brown on Christian Brown Zeke Naji a 2026 first round pick swap and a 2031 first round draft pick so I know the idea of having Embiid and Yokic would just be complete dominance um on paper but truthfully speaking what this Denver Nuggets team needs is not someone of Joel Embiid’s caliber like what this team desperately needs in my opinion is to add more depth to the roster and in this scenario you’d be getting rid of quite a bit of that like Michael Porter Jr and Christian Brown especially Christian Brown were pretty important parts of the Nuggets the last couple years and Zeke Naji can throw throw him into the conversation as well he provides some more depth those future first round picks that takes away from them adding to the more depth area so I think if you’re the Denver Nuggets going after a star player especially in this case a star center in Joel Embiid is just too risky for my liking um I don’t think it makes too much sense especially to um adding two centers to the folds like yeah like you know Jokic is barely a center he can play pretty much every position um and you know puts up good numbers but like it makes sense on paper but truthfully speaking it is not what this Nuggets team needs in my opinion now if you’re the Philadelphia 76ers and you want to sell relatively high on Joel Embiid this is definitely a pretty intriguing package like especially for the short term you add MPJ you add Christian Brown you ask or you add Zeke Naji to this team you kind of hand the keys over to Tyrese Maxi you hope that McCain comes back from his injury uh they draft someone pretty important third overall maybe Paul George rebounds they could be better off and they have some draft capital which they could definitely flip later on or just keep for themselves in the future so I know this idea is pretty cool but as I mentioned before I don’t think that that the Denver Nuggets are a Joel Embiid from winning a championship this team needs more depth and in this scenario Philadelphia is getting that depth so I think for those reasons the winner of this deal would be the Philadelphia 76ers also too for a team that lacks depth getting an injury-prone player is probably not something that I would do so as you mentioned before the winner of this deal is Philadelphia but as always leave your thoughts
