kevin Durant to the Minnesota Timberwolves could become official in the next couple weeks as Zack Lowe of the Ringer said that the San Antonio Spurs and the Minnesota Timberwolves are the two teams that are generating the most trade buzz to win the Kevin Durant sweep stakes we know he’s going to be traded before the June 25th draft and now if you’re looking at a race between the Spurs and the Timberwolves maybe the Spurs could make a trade work easier as far as some young players and the draft capital that they have but one question that you have to ask yourself when you’re talking about a 37year-old Kevin Durant is do you believe he can take you over the top if they think that Wemby can be a top five player as soon as next year and they can make a deep run in the deep and loaded Western Conference then yes maybe they do pull the trigger and make that trade official but the Minnesota Timberwolves have seen it the last two years they have fallen short but they have fallen short in the Western Conference Finals so they know that they’re just a couple rounds away and Kevin Durant could possibly be that move to give Anthony Edwards some relief at times when you have KD it doesn’t matter he’s 37 years old when he’s still dropping 27 a night and you have Anthony Edwards playing with his favorite player of all time the stuff that he can learn from playing alongside him as well could be nice and the Wolves would still have some depth around those two as well as far as the return for Phoenix Zack Low said that there’s been some chatter around league circles that have suggested Rudy Goar to match salaries along with Dante Devincenzo and Rob Dillingham could be the framework of a trade package that Minnesota would have to send Phoenix to pull off this deal now when you’re thinking about the Phoenix Suns they’re clearly still trying to win but they don’t have their own future draft assets so they’re going to try to have to acquire players and win now players at that in a possible KD trade go Bear can give you a player that can anchor your defense and definitely be a floor raiser especially in the regular season when you’re trying to make the playoffs every year unlike they missed it last year then Dante Devenenzo he could be a perfect player that can hit a lot of threes he could play defense and then Rob Dillingham you’re taking the swing on a guy who is a top 10 pick the year before and he can be an offensive jolt as well and can be a real true point guard to build around with Devin Booker for the future so let me know what you guys think about this kevin Durant to Minnesota could begin more likely as the days go
