we know what likely they’ll do with number two but number 14’s kind of a wild card could they use that 14 pick to look for a big man to help out kind of a need they need heading into the new season just more size to back up Wimby we’re going to get into the latest KD Spurs rumors yes there is still turning around so we’ll get into all that and then have a game of buy and sell our guest has no sir and it’s uh it’s a good time too with the draft around the around the corner i I got so I was I was enthusiastic about something you put on Twitter the other line text well I text you i did not mean that that meant I needed to come on but I’m appreciative anytime you asked me to come on so it’s good to be on talking yeah yeah mike texted me because he saw what I were talking about past episode of Lockdown Spurs he’s like “You’re what’s going on with this guy out of Duke what what what what?” And again it was I knew what Mike was doing he wasn’t I know Mike he’s not trying to self-invite but it just sparked an idea i was like “Well wait a minute that’s actually a pretty good idea.” Let’s talk about the number 14 and using it to get a big man in the draft so again be sure to follow Mike as well on X at Mike Taylor’s show do that right now and uh the streets are talking it’s a little live show huh what yeah we’ll discuss that later on on this episode so Mike let’s go and dive into it too so yes so how this started was uh we had a chat about the Duke big man the big kid out there uh I think it’s malak right or is that pron malak i think it’s how you pronounce it yeah malak mal mal yeah it’s something that I can’t pronounce too well k yeah come on come on yeah come on Malik yeah so come on Malak yeah exactly you see now I’m going to remember it that way come on Mollik um here’s the thing you know he’s projected to be a you know a lottery pick I guess uh you know he’s around the 911 range around there um but you’re not sold on him if the Spurs is going to use 14 to address the big man need why is that well first of all I think that when I texted you the other night I think I I think I called him a stiff I want to say yeah you did you know that’s a hard thing that’s that’s a that’s just me texting of course man look so I I’m not gonna try to be Jay Bilis or anything like that right now but I mean I I watch ball so I can give you my opinion all right i watched probably nine or ten Duke games this year because I’m an old Duke fan from back in the 90s i’m the typical Gen X Mike Shasheesky fan the old Duke teams and so I’ve I’ve stayed a Duke fan after all these years and probably watched eight nine games this year mostly because I wanted to watch Cooper flag sure and then went to the Final Four and and saw him in saw Duke in person when they melted down in the second half and got beat by Houston in the in the in the final four and I thought Mllo was the worst guy on the court in the Final Four game sure he got taken out by a bunch of undersized 66 6’7 kids playing way bigger than they should for a Kelvin Samson Houston team that played great defense and went to the n national championship game not to take anything away from Houston but if this kid Malik is going to come in here and help the San Antonio Spurs as a starter or a key minutes rotation guy I I didn’t see that you can’t be getting taken out by guys at Houston when they’re seven inches shorter than you and I thought all season long he was more just a he was just a a space clogger you know he’s just a baby you know he’s one of these kids Jeff that got discovered in Africa and just he’s one of it’s the the basketball without borders league and they have all these couch go to Africa and find these kids with these NBA bodies that have never even played basketball before i This kid wanted to play soccer I think and had to get taught basketball and so he has only been playing the game for four or five years so I I I want to be careful and I call him a stiff on text the other night it’s probably two beers in you know but I still I still I’m not not a fan of him now granted we’re talking about the 14th pick and there’s probably you know I mean honestly there’s probably six seven kids worthy of being first round picks this year and so to be the 14th pick doesn’t mean that you’re maybe you’re a lottery pick but that don’t mean that there’s 14 lottery type players so I guess what I’m trying to say is I don’t love that i I don’t see him coming in here and helping the Spurs next year or even the year after he’s a major project who is very limited on offense but he’s one of these smart kids that plays hard and loves the game and he’s a a good defender and a good clogger in the middle but the Spurs are trying to get really good right now if this was two years ago okay cool we’re taking on all the projects and prospects we can handle and shipping guys back and forth up to Austin and back but the Spurs are trying to get to the postseason you know and I just don’t know that you do that with Malo being a a a major player on your team if he’s even on the roster if they draft him i could see him playing the year in Austin so no not huge on him i’d rather trade the pick for a veteran uh package the trade package that pick maybe move up to you know seven or eight or something like this but if if you told me we’re going to sit there 14 and take the big kid from Duke I’d be like me you know that’s a that’s that’s what I get that’s a long way of me saying me on him yeah basically yeah you nail on the head if the Spurs were to go with the Duke big man he is a project player he’ll likely spend time in Austin but I think the need of a big man to help ASAP is a little pressing now you can look at other prospects in the draft uh locked on NBA we we all had our mock draft i picked ASA Noel out of Big Georgia so I think he’s a little bit more NBA ready than uh Come on so there’s that but you like uh another kid uh another foreign kid right well yeah i mean there’s a kid playing in the German league he’s actually French he’s 18 another very very young kid but that’s what you get in the draft these days noah Asenu did he go on y’all’s mock draft that you had yeah yeah he went before me so yeah i mean he is he needs to he’s got all the skill in the world he’s just crazy raw plays good defense he’s 6’10 he can run like a gazelle he’s French so obviously the Spurs are not afraid of French players uh but he’s young i But I think he’s got a I think he’s gonna get good in the NBA faster than Kaman Moolak now will Senuay even be there at 14 though when the Spurs are on the board probably not um another kid that could be there at 14 is the kid from Maryland Derek Queen i like him a lot whereas the French kid is Singuway is real skinny and needs to probably eat a burger or two yeah it’s the opposite for the Maryland kid the Americans the overweight one imagine that gee figure that out yeah like and they they I think the scouts of the NBA love his skill set they love his offense too and God knows the Spurs need all the offense and shooters they can get problem with him is he’s again he’s one of these kids he’s very young and he’s going to have to stay out of Waterburger you know if he comes to San Antonio he’s going to have to get on a good diet because weight gain’s an issue for him but we’re talking about the 14th pick in the draft man in in a year in which there’s three or four lottery picks total and say you got to get the best of the lot i just think that if we get if we get Moolak and you put Queen on the table and or you put Asenway on a table and I got a chance to take all three I’m going to take the kid that can help me the soonest like you just said too i think I think we’re in agreement here it’s time for the Spurs to take this next step no more projects it’s time to go win 45 games next season and get a seven or an eight seed no one’s asking for the moon but this is a roster that still before the injuries before the blood clot was still not even going to qualify for a playin game man I’m over I’m over this business i’m over being in the lottery i’m ready to get to the postseason here um and sitting at 14 you take the guy that has the opportunity to help you on the varsity the big roster right absolutely now the Spurs likely I think they will do what they did last year trade away their second first round pick and we saw it with Minnesota you know after they got cancelled they dealt the number eight and you know that was it we’re good to go i think that will likely happen but again if the Spurs keep number 14 that’s a fact they can look at is maybe look at some of the size the big guys that they can bring in hey we’re not done telling you about this the big man need now we talked about what they if they use number 14 pick you know there’s some options there you know they’re not the best but hey you know it’s something they could do but perhaps the strongest route uh Mike is to look at free agency and I think that’s where the Spurs if they’re going to do that might be the best avenue to bring in some big man help for the big man Wimi and right off the bat I got to tell you I got Brook Lopez at top top of my list i think that’s a veteran he’s definitely has the size he ain’t going to be no pushover in the paint and what I like about him he’s not the same Brook saw in Brooklyn you know just kind of like that brawler meaty big dude in the paint and just barreling his way to the rim he’s expanded his game to the three line because the Spurs desperately need a floor spacer out of the big man spots we know Wimby can do it but they need help as well i got Brook Lopez at top of my uh free agent list if they’re to look for big man help in that avenue now Mike there’s other guys out there too there’s a Nas Reed he has a big believe a player option to return you think you can count on Miles Turner you know he’ll likely stay in Indiana considering what’s going on with them and I think they all but said it uh what do you think about the free agency route Mike you think that’s probably the best bet to address the need for a big man well yeah probably yeah if you don’t trade for one sure um and they have money um I don’t know what Brook Lopez’s contracts I guess so is he unrestricted completely yeah he’s he’s Yeah he’s unrestricted amen and they’ve got money the question is at this stage of his career does Brooke want to come to a team that’s still trying to get to where they want to get or is he trying to jump to a team that’s ready-made championship contender i don’t know he’s been in the league a while i like Brook Lopez i didn’t always love him when he was younger yeah he’s really morphed into a very solid rotation player for a good Milwaukee team i mean that Yeah they lost early in the playoffs but I mean they they played well against Indiana it wasn’t like they got swept and it was there were four blowouts it’s still a Milwaukee team that’s pretty close assuming that Keith Giannis which I think they will but if Lopez looks to move dude you can do a heck of a lot worse than Brum Lopez i like Bruno Bill and it’s funny you mentioned him because I I saw earlier this year where you know and so the Lopez brothers they have they know Mitch Johnson the new dispersion from their days at Good point good point and you know Brooke was saying you know take this for what you will you know um because Brook’s been in the league a long time he’s been around a lot of great players and coaches brook Lopez said on the record that he’s never been around anybody with a higher basketball IQ and knowledge of the game more than Mitch Johnson they love him they absolutely loved him at Stanford and everybody with any with any ties to him loves him and that includes Brook Lopez so maybe a chance to go play for Mitch might entice Brook Lopez if indeed he is ready to jump from Milwaukee and they’re ready to let him go i I would love to have Brook Lopez in San Antonio i think the fit would be great i want that a little wild card at you and um I know he’s not a traditional big in the sense of you know sevenfooter or a 611 dude but they got a guy by the name of Mamu on that roster last year now he’s a free agent he’s free agent what do you think about keeping him you know he could bring that flavor flavor uh flavor back to San Antonio yeah I mean we saw the guy can actually kick some booty you know bring Flavor Flave to all the games man that guy blew up in front of his buddy but uh we know he can do it we know he’s got skill there’s a reason the Spurs have kept him on the roster you know the last couple of years they never play him but every time I see him play he is out there busting his hump he is out there um being productive i’m not saying he’s going to go out there and average 20 and 10 as the starter next to Wimi right but he does not go out there and mess up the thing you know this Spurs team’s not very good it ain’t because of Mamu and the time he gets to play which is limited he’s he’s a solid contributor both ends of the floor he’s a big brawler he’s got he’s huge bodywise he’s not afraid he’s just a big old dude um who’s a good guy to have when you need when you’re trying to help other guys and and and you know and and clear up space so guys can get outside and shoot he’s a good clogger you know you mentioned Cayman Moolog last segment the kid from Duke mamu is what they think Moolok could be in the future but Moolok needs to gain a 100 pounds on this size of two dudes out there i like him a lot he’s also pretty he’s going to be pretty cheap he already he already knows the system he’s played for Mitch he’s used to being here he knows where the bodies are buried you know I is a better player let’s stop being let’s not let’s not go crazy overboard with Myers but I like the guy man i think he’s a helper i don’t think he’s I He has not been part of their problem at all he’s not the reason why they haven’t won that poor guy is sitting there on the bench and credit him man he’s going eight nine games in a row barely sniffing the court and then he may get 20 minutes but he he’s he’s a pro he stayed in condition pop loves him yeah wouldn’t have any problem bringing him back and he won’t cost you much money yeah and Wimby has pretty much given his seal of approval too many times about play with mom yeah and that that matters if the your franchise player is happy then that’s a good sign but I ultimately Mike I think going the free agent route if they want to address the big man need I think that’s their best bet they’re not going to get a project as you mentioned and I’m in agreement with you we’re just we mentioned I’m just repeating we’re I’m done i’m done with no playin not even a freaking playoff just something something past 82 you know I’m tired of that i mean what is it now six six seven years some of that droughts had even a play in so I had far less gray on this side of my head uh last time this thing was in the playoffs well six seven years yeah are you are you of all the of all the things that you hear in society that make you feel old because I’m you know I’m every day you know something else may Oh wow i’m I’m getting up there in years kids are growing up yeah movies have their third sequel you know whatever my my back hurts worse than ever signs that I’m getting older another one of the signs is the Spurs have not been in the playoffs in six seasons wow are you kidding me wow yeah i mean unheard of i can’t believe it’s been six years and who was Denver that who that who beat them in the first round six years ago with a bunch of that was bunch of that was yeah that was Derek White remember Derrick White had that big uh dunk I forgot it was on but that was his coming out party but that’s how far it’s been since the Spurs sniffed any type of postseason play man it’s been a while man but look the Spurs definitely have options what to do if they want to address the big man now yep they say frequency I think that’s the way to go but if they go in the into the draft this in a few days Durant is going to be traded by next week so but San Antonio seems to be at the top of the list of of a destination city his next NBA home where do you stand on this KD to San Antonio do you think he’s worth the squeeze for the Spurs to bring him to San Antonio well I hope you dropped this show fast because he could be a Spur at any time so right exactly yeah probably right now yeah so the station in Arizona was saying that he’s going to be traded by next week somewhere by next week yeah makes sense somewhere dude this is a hard one for me because it says Durant on the jersey but this is a 36 and a half year old guy who has turned into an NBA journeyman who is a hell of a shooter still one of the great shooters in the history of the league and Lord knows the Spurs are one of the worst three-point shooting teams in the NBA so be great to have him you know does he free up Wendy sure absolutely um does he make life easier for everybody because he’s such a good shooter and so good at finding his spot making shots at 6’10 yeah Wimy loves him wimby idolized him had his poster on the wall wimby you know model a lot of his game after KD’s so and that’s great and of course he’s a long horn he spent what six months on campus that one season played um there there’s your pros I suppose but man we talking about a 36 37 year old guy who has bounced around like I said who and honestly Jeff and I know sports psychiatrist and I I be I be I’m careful about adding psychiatry into just talking X’s and O’s and stuff but I mean this is a dude who became unhappy in Oklahoma wanted to go to San Francisco and open play with the Warriors won a couple of championships was thin skinned had burner phones had fake Twitter accounts constantly going back and forth with rando people on Twitter because they kept calling him a frontr runner finally it got under his skin enough to where he asked out a Golden State and left and handpicked Brooklyn and they trade him to the Nets two years later he’s not happy there granted I probably wouldn’t be happy playing with James Harden either in those days kyrie Irving had the meltdown over during the co i remember that yeah oh Sean Marx man uh and then they get these guys so he picks Brooklyn and he’s not happy and so he wants he wants out of there he picks Phoenix and he still ain’t happy this is a guy who’s not been happy in 10 years and he’s been traded every time he wants to get traded and it’s he’s just never satisfied well okay good luck coming here where we have a rookie coach with a 20 yearear-old star to a team that is just hoping to become an eight seed next season if that’s what you want at this stage in your career I guess but what’s it going to cost us in trade man money and picks and players i just don’t know that he makes you appreciably better he plays no defense now they’re they’ve got good defenders maybe they can hide him on defense i just don’t know that k if you told me that trading for Kevin Durant means and what how many games did we win this year 30 what 33 34 some of that yeah if you told me that adding Kevin Durant means we’re going to win 15 more games okay still not but that sounds good to me i just don’t think Kevin Durant all those things I just said the good and the bad thrown into one pot of soup i just don’t know that at this stage of his career and where the Spurs are that he makes them appreciably better i it’s he needs to go to a team like Minnesota that’s ready to win a chip now that just needs what he brings and they have everything else he needs to go to a Boston or maybe maybe the Knicks these other these are other teams that have been bied about with his name but if he comes here it just it must just be because he he wants to lower his taxes and he likes the summer heat i because man he’s not going to do a lot of winning here and they’re I just I I I trust the Spurs you know Greg Papovich is still in the mix as far as decision making if they want to do this I’ll have to get the SP gosh knows be all the Spurs all the mulligans in the world and they’ve got equity with us but good lord I just don’t see him improving their wins and losses appreciably exponentially i just don’t see that man so what’s the point is he gonna be here in two years so You’re trying to bring guys in here to at the same time win as much as you can now but you’re trying to bring in guys here that can be cornerstone players with you for the long haul with Victor Wimyama is it a waste of Wimby’s time to bring KD in for a year or two and then he’s gone he’s retired oh by the way he he’s owed 48.7 million there you go throw that into the pot of soup too and it’s a stretch for me to think that it’s just a no-brainer that there’s just this mutual interest between us and I’d be surprised if we trade for KD i really would despite all the rumors from Arizona to New York yeah exactly and you know I’m torn i’m torn i I get I get why you bring him i mean that’s a Hall of Famer you know once he’s done that’s a guy that despite his age put up a lot of points a lot of stats and you know that’s something those Spurs lacked last season just some of the offensive firepower he brings that um you know you look at him kind of like a Chris Paul we him last year you know Chris Paul came in for that leadership and you know helping mold the kids you know was he just Paul all over again but a different position and just a little more impact on the court you know I get the pros and I get the cons I’m like okay the con for me is the sticker price that’s where I’m going to be like “All right Phoenix calm down.” You know you want Castle number two Vel hey hey let’s talk about this you know and go so I wouldn’t trade that for Devin Booker let KD no absolutely yeah exactly yeah and you know ultimately you know for me it comes down to the sticker price the Spurs can’t afford it we all know what they got in the the war chest we from the picks to the to the cash and the players on the roster but you don’t want to mortgage somewhat of your future for a guy who may be here for one or two years and that’s where I hit the pause button but if look we’re joking around with this like hey he’s probably traded right now during this segment i mean but seriously you know if that does hap if that does happen I wouldn’t be mad i’m not going to be mad at it but I think I’ll be pissed off if I say you gave up what for who for who whoa whoa i think that’s where my line is going yeah go ahead knowing what we knowing what we know about the Spurs and how they do business and obviously there’s a you know kind of like there’s AD and there’s BC bc is Tim Duncan ad is post Tim Duncan so you can’t operate your franchise exactly how you did back in the day when you had Tim this these are still the same core guys making the decisions you know Brian Wright’s been here a long time pop’s still the president of ops rc’s still the CEO vince Johnson’s been here seven years the Spurs are just it’s like I feel like they’re in this they’re they’re at this crossroads where it’s like we do want to win now for sure but you not not you you don’t go for gusto right now risking year four and five of Wimy’s career you don’t you don’t want to do that so you have to try your damnest to win with patience which is very hard to do you’re juggling at that point how do you win and stay patient and not overreact and make moves that you feel like will help you get way better today but may cost you one year other thing is when Pop had that press conference when he announced that he was going to step down yeah one that when we the other day when when Tim and Tim and Manu helped him on helped him up there you know he said something that has stuck with me and it’s you know we have a lot of things we want to do and with all the things that we have planned this summer and this season i just I’m not physically ready to be around for all of that you know that what I what I heard was we got we got moves we’re going to make some moves you know and I remember that that day thinking are they really going to make a run at Giannis you know or some or something massive i think the Spurs are either going to sit still take Dylan Harper too maybe move the 14 for an okay decent veteran um plus another guy go that way or trade for Giannis but anything in the middle it just seems like you’re spinning a wheel either stay patient stay young just add some add some vets here and there and just keep rolling with what you have steph Castle will be in his second year in the league darren Fox has only been here six he was here for a month before he got hurt right um you have Fox from the beginning in training camp you’ve got Steph Castle here now that he knows what it’s like in the league he’s won the rookie of the year you’re bringing in a really good player in Dylan Harper to me you either kind of kind of sit still where you are or trade for Jannis Takoupo there you go with those two but anything in the middle right now Jeff to me just seems like you’re playing in the trenches of no man’s land and I don’t think any of I I just don’t see where you’re winning 15 plus more games um doing that and I don’t want to risk I don’t want to risk future you know i’m I’m willing to trade anybody but Wimby and Castle um but I’m not willing to trade those guys for KD unless it doesn’t cost me much and if KD really wants to be a spur and you hear all these reports that he just really wants to come here then why don’t you take a pay cut why don’t you help us out i mean how much money has Kevin Durant made in his career on and off the court hundreds and hundreds of millions if you really want to win and you really want to be a spur why don’t you do them a favor and maybe take a pay cut you know i mean I could be I’m not I’m not trying to poo poo all over the Kevin Durant stuff but I don’t love it as we sit here now i need to know stiff i need to know the sticker price and the other thing is I’m not I got a hard time paying that guy 50 million bucks just hard time doing yeah it definitely Yeah the Spurs ever got to make decisions again if the reports are accurate that they’re in the mix and then we have to assume all these reports are somewhat accurate too which Yeah yeah exactly yeah you know is this is probably a case of where there’s smoke there’s fire you know and probably it is you look ultimately all NBA GMs yeah they’re going to talk to the Suns if they want to bring in a guy like uh like KD i get it i get it m you know Mitch I hope Mitch I mean Bryant Wright better be on the phone talking to NBA teams trying to make this team better so um that’s ultimately what it could be but we shall see again like Mike and I are joking he probably trained San Antonio during this segment we don’t even know it but anyway uh you know Mike I always have some fun with you now before I let you go let’s do a little game of a little game of buy and sell right here on Lockdown Spurs uh it’s been a kind of a fun little segment now during this off season to where the guest has no idea what I’m going to ask him no idea just to get that raw reaction to a couple of buy or sell questions regarding your silver black let’s start off Mike with a good one here buy or sell Mr taylor that Devin Bell will finish the season a spur i s I I think that I think they’re looking to move him i think he may be moved next week probably for Kevin Durant after all the stuff we just Yeah exactly yeah i just I I man I just feel like that kid’s kind of run i love him i loved him i thought he’d be a lot better by now he’s fine but someone has to score on a bad basketball team and he he’s been that guy um he’s pro he’s a hard worker but he’s reached his ceiling I think and clearly that ain’t it you know i I So I don’t I don’t I would I would say 7030 he’s gone before the end of next season yeah yeah exactly and um you know how fans read it to everything i mean you don’t really see him hanging out with the team this off season oh so there’s that but fans read I mean did you see that one thing so So had that event where he brought everybody together to have some juice at a local juice bar in San Antonio so he got out a tweet saying “Oh it’s a great day.” Because he was excited for the event and he put a little sun emoji and fans were into that thinking like that was a sign he’s getting traded to the Suns i was That’s how crazy I get sometimes yeah exactly all right next buyer brother’s neighbors nephews dogs uncle house shopping in Phoenix yeah exactly all right buy or sell that if the Spurs draft Dylan Harper he’ll have a better rookie season than Steph Castle sell it’s hard to have a better rookie season than Steph Castle just had if if if Harper has a better season than Steph that means that they let him play all year because they didn’t even let Castle play in the first half of the season it also means the Spurs are Has anybody ever had three straight rookies of the year san Antonio if he has a better season than Castle they’re going to have the rookie of the year i don’t see if he if he’s as good as Castle or a little bit better it’s hard to even think Cooper Flag would be even that good it’s Steph Castle the last two months of the season was awesome was great and looked like a star in the making and a stud um so it’s hard to it’s hard and I like Dylan Harper he’s clearly the second best guy in the draft he needs to get better at shooting but he’s good at everything else and he’s just a kid i love his family lineage with Ron the dad um I think mom played college hoops too he’s just the basketball lifers they’re just he’s a basketball junkie he’ll fit in great with the fabric here in San Antonio but it’s hard to imagine he’s having a better season than Steph Castle that’s a lot to ask for a kid yeah yeah exactly you know Castle won the Roy it’s going to be tough considering this too harper’s in a stronger draft class than Castle was so there’s that too all right next buy or sell question is will the Spurs get 45 wins or more next season man i’m trying not to be a homer and I’ve lost two years in a row I’ve lost a 100 bucks to my brother because my brother he he uh our brother roots for another team north of here in the Metroplex area yeah we know that although my brother swears he’s renounced his fandom of Dallas because of the Luca trade but what I’ve lost a hundred bucks to him two years in a row because I told him the Spurs would win 35 games or more i’m over for two um I’m going to go out and put I’m gonna go out on a limb i think they have big things in store i think they’re going to be better by training camp i really think they’re going to go for it i would be shocked if we don’t have a pretty big trade or two that does not mean Giannis or even KD but a very Spurs-like trade or two that makes them better with guys that maybe we don’t think of right now i think they’ll find a way with Castle in a second year with Fox on the team for the entire year with Wendy another year developed his newfound Buddhism his newfound spirituality whatever he’s got i just I I provided everybody stays healthy of course that’s always thrown in i just don’t see how they don’t find 10 more wins so yeah I’m going to buy they’ll win 45 next season and make the playoffs yeah I’m with you too i I you know there’s even a part of me that believes that if Wimby got close to 82 and Fox was there you know at least for the good chunk of his time and the Spurs may have been flirting with the playin i don’t know if they get in but I think they flirt with it maybe and yeah I think that’s we got Castle Ascension we saw to close out the season so there were some parts there that could have pushed the Spurs beyond the win total last year but we’ll see we’ll see yeah I I think the sky is bright for the Spurs and headed to next season but at least they better be because no more of this missed postseason action can’t can’t take that anymore all right the final the final buyell question is will Mike Taylor shave his head and enter a Shaolin temple i got you got a better chance of seeing me chop off the tip of my pinky finger than shave boot up a lot look at that you know I I don’t have a lot of skirts boy if I don’t have a whole lot in my bag I’m I can run my mouth all day and I’ve got decent hair and I’m not getting rid of the hair i’d rather shave all I would rather shave all the rest of the hair in my entire body and shave my head so no I won’t yeah exactly you you you and I are the same age and uh you know my hair is still holding up strong still holding up strong so we’re lucky crossy finger yeah we’re lucky i’m hoping that will continue for a long long time he is Mike Taylor of In the is you have you have to get out there you can still do remotes back in the radio days we called them remotes but now you do concerts you take your YouTube show out and you do a different concept so we’re kind of jumping off a cliff here you know we’re doing something totally outside of our our comfort zone which is good we’re going to do a live show on a stage at Lion and Rose Pub the old Irish Pub up there off of I 10 near the Dominion and Bernie Stage is the exit the Bernie Stage Road exit off of I 10 you exit I 10 Bernie Stage it’s up there on the right hand side we’re going to have a we’re going to have a a full concert that night uh my lady Nina Beina Cheeseman she’s going to do a standup set good stuff um another comic in town a buddy of mine named Cameron Andover he’s going to do a standup comic set that night and then Rudy and I are going to sit on a stage with a couple of bikes we’ll do some Q&A but you it will not be our typical podcast we’re going to have some things that are totally different outside the box to provide incentive to people to come out and just see us in a different light you know um so we’re doing a live show and hopefully this could be the first of a lot we want to start doing this a lot in town especially where we have like a whole bill of people like we’ve got a juggler and a dog trainer and a band you know me and Rudy do some talking you know we want to do just concerts just entertainment stuff for people something different like a variety show and so we’re going to see how it goes it’s our first one June 21st on it’s a Saturday night um you can get tickets at all event that’s the that’s the app that we’re using to buy tickets just Google in the building you’ll see you’ll go to any of my social media i’m all all that i’m all all that stuff every day we put links on there you can buy tickets and uh yeah come out to the Lion Rose Pub on June 21st and hang out with me and Rudy and watch us do a live show be cool that’s Yeah that sounds like a lot of fun there yeah and I like how it’s beyond your show you know it’s like you mentioned the comedy routine you know stuff you got going i think that’s going to be fun any uh VIP things you want to talk to us about if you want you want to drop some money for so we we can so tickets are 40 bucks but so you get so 5:00 there’s a meet and greet for VIPs um we’re going to have a really cool bus parked out in the parking lot like with all these bu all these big party buses where VIPs can come hang out with me and Rudy kind of a meet and greet scene you know for like an hour from 5 to 6 and it’s a 100 bucks for VIP that’s a lot but you get to hang out with us on the bus 6:00 we have the dinner uh Lina Rose is putting up multiple different options for your your dinner choice that night that’s at 6:00 and then at 7 we’ll get our comics out there and then 7:40 7:30ish me and Rudy go out there and hang out for as long as we have momentum and it’s a 100 bucks for VIP but you get to sit right up front and you also get and we will shout you out all the VIPs if you’re a company if you’re a business uh it’s an opportunity for you to introduce your business to Thunderdome you know our listeners our viewers members of the building our our channel so we’ll give you some shout we’ll give you a plug we’ll go drink beer with you on a bus and you get to sit up
