[Applause] what is up YouTube got quite the haul as a diehard Bulls fan Chicago Bulls are bust nice haul here um some historic pieces right in front of us we have This is BJ Armstrong’s warm-up from the 1991 season and you say “How do you know that?” Well right here you got the year right here marked 1991 the body length and sleeve 00 you got number 10 here and size 44 uh there was another set that I came across online um that was uh the same size exact so they actually have a tag here I just noticed as well from Gray Final Auctions which is really cool but as you see um it’s got the screen printed Bulls logo on there does have the register logo i’ve heard some people tell me “Oh that’s a general release.” But no that’s not the truth um for this era they did have the register logo you got the the NBA all stitched on there with the red collar around with the white trim and don’t forget we have Champion so it looks just you know there’s stains on it there’s marks there’s all sorts of stuff which sells it to me that it’s even more um used that it was actually used in um warm-ups before a game at Chicago Stadium so that’s my my biggest u takeaway from this piece is that it’s the white version the home version at Old Chicago Stadium which I absolutely love uh just really really cool i have not owned one of these my wife actually has a Mitchell Nest one um but I’ve been looking to get just a Champion one even um but this came up unique Threads again thank you um he uh held this one down for me and another piece um that you’re going to see very soon it has a register logo there again on the Bull’s horn so we’ll slide this aside as you see we got a few more pieces on the table and next no they’re not game worn by Michael Jordan they will be worn by Milo we have an OG fire red this ain’t a 2025 retro this is called tennis bald so all the durabuck is peeled away my wife’s not a huge fan of it i think it looks cool it’s unique um so these have been restored so basically it has been soul swapped so we can see on the outsole that it is the original sole you tell that translucent so they saved the original sole which I really appreciate very very lightwear on these um the netting looks great it does not crack it stays pretty darn translucent it is durable it’s just some like the plastic tabs different stuff that you see on the OG’s the sevens um the eights you see the retros cracking all the time the original stuff does not midsoles are solid yeah definitely going to enjoy wearing these and let’s take a look at the other one again really clean lines on the uh on the swap and they were worn so you can notice like very very aerodynamic sleek toe this material is very soft synthetic leather basically what Durabuk was back in the day and this is basically that that leatherish the leather synthetic look um this is what lays beneath so if people you see selling pairs that are vintage and maybe they try wearing them and they start to crack that’s the underlay that you see is here so it’s kind of off-white but again just really really cool pair got the 23 on the side it looks like they did get the 23 right um I saw the the grapes last weekend actually um I was at the Burough Center for a sneaker event that was really cool we’ll talk more about that in a little bit um but we um yeah we saw some pretty cool stuff and the new Grape for 2025 looks really good um I’m pretty pretty impressed with the leather on them definitely better than the white cement fours that came out uh toe box definitely not the OG cup they look pretty good but these these are going to be looking good and feeling good on feet one more side note on these fives a lot of people talk about the insoles a lot of times how thick and plush they were um you do see some deterioration but indeed they were definitely much thicker than your standard um insole but either way I’m going to have to swap these out when uh as I typically do swap them out all right we saw a 1991 BJ Armstrong warm-up jacket now Air Force 6 game used game worn by the man himself BJ Armstrong really nice pair uh crumbling midsoles there there is swaps available um that can happen and also they are signed which is really cool not one signature but there is two there is another dual signed i had to get these they’re on eBay i bid last second and uh they came home they went to the right house uh but yeah just a beautiful pair beautiful example great leather um I’m going to keep them with the soles as they are they are pretty presentable still obviously not wearable not that I would ever wear them um but just show you guys the leather thick leather cuts here soft leather like that’s just OG Nike stuff that I’d love to see more more of these days and the thing that gets closest to what this feels like just comes to mind is Air Techch Challenge the new Air Techch Challenges than Mac Attacks better materials they’re using so that’s what I really want to see on the white cements but not to get off the beaten path of course the leather is beautiful and we also see the true high top they don’t make them like this look at that it’s like my whole hand it’s like super tall you got the uh corduroy lining which people love to see that too i’m not going to yank on the tongues too hard i might be able to get access to the other one a little easier you know what let’s just do it so got 1391 VJ with size 12 these are made in Korea so there it is we’ll turn this right here it’s got the force on the tongue let’s slide this back and then we’ll bring up you guys see my new Frankenstein tattoo also side note um got the force on the tongue all stitched in i have the white and black version of this too um that Phil Jackson actually wore um not the his pair but I have a dead stock pair that came from I believe it was Germany see the medial side here this side again it’s holding up pretty well um clean clean signature just looks really nice great shape these are just tanks minus the polyurethane they’re just tanks if everything just switched from solid rubber to phylon back in the day things would have been a lot easier for us collectors but it is what it is so they do they do have comfort you know that’s still why they’re using polyurethane to this day wasn’t made to be standing the test of time obviously um yeah let’s see if we can find this tag same thing size 12 made in Korea there’s also a stamp right here i’ll show you guys just on the side there size 12 there it is uh there is no insoles so a lot of times um the NBA players they might have had like orthotics or whatever um so there’s no no insoles on this pair last but not least that wasn’t cool enough gray flannel auctions we have a very unique piece here signed by MJ i can read through all that if you’d like you can hit pause and swipe to the right here so I’m always I’m always on the hunt for MJ signpiece and this one early Mike really cool got Stan on the cover and Orlando and a really nice just blue vibrant beautiful signature i absolutely love it um I’m going to drop in some slides too i don’t know what the binding but I will drop some slides in within here it’s got a lot of information um some cool stuff bulls fans is buds for you um not a fan of Budweiser more of a stout and porter guy myself but you know uh but yeah it’s got some cool stuff in it and I’ll highlight definitely i just went to the Burough Center like I was mentioning and they have a whole thing about that before it was called the Burrow Center um so 92 when I went to the game that when the Bulls played the Knicks so in ’92 they wore their jerseys and they had that black line on their jerseys that’s because um Sher Berto she’s the one that was on the administration for the Bulls um high up really tight with Ryan Ddorf and she had passed away from like complications of surgery um so what they did was renamed um what multiplex it was called like a multiplex because it had so many different um different tiers and levels um for all the different stuff for for the team and the community so I’ll drop in those slides so you guys can see the layout it kind of talks about the location so pretty cool i didn’t realize the name before um she you know she uh had it renamed after herself uh sadly passed away but I’ll drop in a slide from the game that I was at and Jordan as well um wearing with the black patch [Music] yeah pretty cool um I was just at the Burough Center and it was very nostalgic and uh this week on Instagram been posting about the bulls and um that kind of stuff and thought this video would be uh a really cool piece just to bind all these things together that I’ve basically collected over the past two weeks that’s been incoming so I’m really excited to have all this stuff and to rock these beauties that are in the back here um definitely not going to wear the BJ one i’d rather just get a a general uh general release of that jacket definitely want a red one though um that’s game used or warm up but that will do it um hope you guys enjoyed this it’s very nostalgic it’s kind of surreal to come across stuff like this again thank you unique threads
