Kornet is a great back up for his price. But you need a starter that can at least take most of the minutes. The only focus right now should only be a starting Center. Fill the rest of the roster out after.

Luke Kornet 5.2P & 3.5R career averages are barely good enough for a nonathletic back up/3rd. string center. The Lakers need a starting center (no lightweights or injury prone old geezers) who can average in double figures and play both sides of the court. No big center could mean another 1st. round Play Offs exit. The Lakers can do better than Kornet and Jones.
