talking top 25 prospects under 25 in Philly sports leading off number 25 Adam Bona i love Adam Bona bona grew monthtomonth and week to week last season we already knew he was a plus rim protector heading into his rookie year he blocked 3.8 shots per 100 possessions in 2025 which was the fourth best mark in the NBA among players with at least 400 total minutes it was obvious from the first minutes that Bona was a significantly better rip protector than Drummond and Yabu especially at the five but as his role expanded as the season progressed I thought he also showed a ton of energy and a ton of hustle which is something the Sixers have lacked in recent years at the end of the season when he was given starter minutes the results were strong in the last 15 games he averaged nearly 30 minutes nearly 14 points eight rebounds two and a half blocks while shooting 71.1% from the field the Sixers have had a backup center issue for the entirety of Joel Embiid’s career the top questions for Bonet going forward is what is his offensive ceiling i think his finishing and touch around the basket improve steadily but he definitely needs to improve here the other he needs to make marked improvements as a rebounder rebounding was one of the Sixers Achilles heels last season and Bon needs to be a dominant rebounder and clean up the glass a little more he showed excellent positioning and a knack for boxing out he needs to find a balance in regards to when to hedge and when to hold on defense offensively he was really impressive as a rim runner but he needs to improve as a screener he needs to keep working on the jugs get those hands stronger i want to see him work on his confidence in the shot and show the Sixers coaching staff that he should be penciled in as a rotation back up into the Sixers game plan that’s 25 of our top 25 under 25 stay tuned tomorrow for number 24 thanks for watching
