WAS THIS TRADE A HUGE MISTAKE?! 🚨🤨

orlando Magic just made a trade that might set their franchise back for years they traded KCP Cole Anthony four first round picks and a pick swap for Desmond Bane that’s right they just traded their entire future away for a 3 and D wing on one hand Desmond Bane fits exactly what the Orlando Magic need he’s a 41% career three-point shooter and one of the better two-way guards in the NBA at the same time the Magic gave up their entire future in order to get Desmond Bane that’s more than the Lakers had to give up for Luca Donuch and this is even getting compared to the Mikuel Bridges trade last year and still to this day fans are saying that the Knicks overpaid for Mikuel Bridges meanwhile the Memphis Grizzlies made a trade that changes everything for them while this does imply that they’re rebuilding they are now underneath the luxury tax and can extend Jiren Jackson Jr while having enough assets to make another huge trade or just rebuild organically and for those reasons I have no other choice but to

  1. He had one decent season, not good… decent and Orlando went out of their way to get this dude? Hahaha

  2. Magic handled business! Dumped two high contracts. Let go of some late 1rd draft picks, no biggie! They are done rebuilding and set for the next 5 years

  3. Those draft picks weren’t their future. They got rid of a bad player on a $20 million contract. They have 2 all stars, 2 other all star level players and a backup center who might be the best defensive player in the league.

How are two mid-round picks and 2 late round picks their future?

  4. Future? We have them already they are named Paolo and Franz we are In Win now mode picks that will equate mostly to mid 20s pick won’t move the needle the east is wide open.

  5. It's a really good trade for both sides tf ym the east is wide open besides indy and maybe the cavs next season

  6. As a magic fan 4 picks may be a bit much but we needed a shooting playmaker like him and he wasn’t getting love in Memphis. We can take picks from others you guys forget, so don’t count us out. #WinForTheO

  7. Knicks DID overpay for Bridges. As for the Magic, I thought they were looking to get rid of KCP's contract. Triple J will never win a ring in Memphis. He needs to play out his contract and play with Wemby-Fox-Castle in San Antonio (pray for us).

  8. It’s a good move they already have their core players they drafted ! They only need vets and shooters. I like the trade!

  9. Remember, the Celtics traded the draft rights to Desmond Bane for a couple useless 2nd round picks, cash considerations, and to get off the $5,000,000 Enes Kanter contract, only to bring Enes Kanter back the following year just to dump his contract a second time during that season.

  10. These GMs are overpaying for fairly good players. I don't get it. Yes, I understand the Magic wanted to unload KCP. But…come on!

  11. Knicks over paid yet the trade helped them reach ECF. The magic have young talent. If things play out like they think, those picks don't mean much
