seen teams for years make the mistake of thinking they can put a great offense out there and win You run up against a team that’s just competent offensively but they play defense you’re going to offensively they’re putting guys in a position now to succeed It’s certainly been an impressive run They finally found the right formula to break down the defense McConnell passes to Siakum Good And Williams Oklahoma City needs to get off a shot and it’s out of bounds Is Oklahoma City able to retain possession here yeah gets a finger on it but just can’t quite come up with the steal Clearly a off the mark You know guys you can tell he wants to contribute more but his teammates have picked up the slack for him That’s what being on the team is all about Now here’s Turner Eight points for him a lot of layups and dunks but not now Here’s Gilas Alexander 12 points for him Shoots from the line and he gets it to go Hitting off the back of the rim Gilis Alexander’s got 14 points and good work inside SDGA will make more room for himself on the perimeter when he can be effective down low Now here’s Turner and he can be counted on to put some points on the board every night He’s averaging defend such spot-on shooting And tonight we’ve also seen a lot of great play from them inside They’ve been consistent in terms of attacking the interior of this D That free throw no good Greg every Making his teammates better offensively with his terrific passing Yeah he’s outstanding at controlling the tempo I mean keeps the ball moving and of course finds the open man Isaiah Jackson he’s checked in for Miles Turner Wiggins a screen on McConnell And there’s the whistle Illegal screen And guys point of emphasis for the league is to really crack down on illegal screens Yeah you know he might have gotten away with that a few years ago but not anymore No way Now you’ve got to be stationary on those screens No extra hips or elbows or they’ll call it Pacers trail by eight Here’s
