i know grizzlies fans love desmond bane and what he’s been to that uh organization and also what he does in terms of being able to play next to john mor like that that is a good thing i understand but you can’t you can’t say no to that deal that’s just too much flexibility with your roster going forward and you’re trying to let’s let’s not say rebuild necessarily unless that is their master plan but let’s say restructure and sort of get this team in a better position going forward well you need those draft picks to be able to go out and accumulate players and also you free up some money here or there you got to resign ideally i would think what they want to do with uh with john moran and jiren jackson this summer so you have they gave you the flexibility to do that better than you had previously so you couldn’t say no to that deal yeah i don’t think they’re i don’t think this is a tear down rebuild i think it’s a kind of retool more than you know especially if you keep john jiren and then you’re just kind of fitting around
