TOUGH CHOICE: Hornets Options Shrink at #4 | Tidjane Salaun GRINDS in Workout Clip

true i got to keep my volume i got to thread the needle if I go too low it brings out the fleg if I go too loud it brings out the fleg this is like speed it’s like the movie Speed you got to keep your your vocal cords at a certain speed or your voice explodes they’re Keanu Reeves keanu Reeves is somewhere in your throat all right help me out here i’m Kiau Reeves is what I am right now uh trying to keep the bus at the right exact speed there’s Doug Branson with the jokes every Hornetsboxcore.com also locked on NBA by the way locked on NBA he hosts with Hayes and Matt Moore we’re going to talk about the new draft intel that he just dropped on his Substack hardwood peroxism great name for a Substack i’m Walker Male you can listen to me on WFNZ every weekday from 12:00 to 3 p.m where I promise I don’t sound like this it’s only in the mornings i’ve said this joke to Doug about a million times oceans 11 when they ask Brad Pit “Are you suicidal?” He says “Only in the mornings are you Flemmy?” Only in the mornings that’s it this is And we decided to record at this time because of how the schedule works for everybody so you get a whole bunch of Flem i apologize for it new draft intel it’s your boy Doug you get to work with him every day on the Locked On podcast network what is the new draft intel Matt Moore is releasing to the people yeah we’ll put the uh link to the article is Substack’s great hardwood peroxism matt Moore writing “If the Sixers take VJ Edgecomb the odds of the Hornets moving back from number four go up substantially with Washington a potential suitor for that pick okay so something we’ve discussed already Sam Vassini talked about this as well that the Hornets with with pure speculation not hearing anything no intel in fact that he’s receiving but that the Hornets would be the most likely team to trade in the top five on draft night or maybe somewhere close to the process we’ve discussed how that makes sense to us as well especially if VJ Edgecom is going to be gone and perhaps that’s even the favorite i haven’t checked the odds on FanDuel i don’t even know if they have those out yet but I would expect VJ Edgecomb to have the best odds to go number three and then Ace Bailey would be second right there at Philadelphia but you and I Doug we’ve talked about how we don’t think Ace Bailey is going to be the pick at number four or we don’t think the Hornets are going to select Ace Bailey perhaps that’s the important distinction to make because if the Hornets move out of this selection Ace Bailey is the type of talent and might fit a better a franchise even better for a team to move up to number four and Washington is the team mentioned here by Matt that would make sense hornets move out of the Ace Bailey business they go back to six and they just take their pick of the shooting guards that might be available between Conanipple and Trey Johnson whoever’s on the board and if they’re both on the board they get to make their choice between the two i think we’re going to talk more Khan Canipella a little bit later in the show let me give you an update on the FanDuel NBA draft betting odds right now Cooper Flag a minus I’m counting the zeros here i believe that’s minus 100,000 to go number one overall uh you can get plus 15,000 on Dylan Harper uh if you are insane and then Dylan Harper minus 4,000 ace Bailey plus 2,000 that’s not it’s not a crazy dog there i mean it’s a significant dog but not a crazy dog for Ace Bailey to go number two overall and then number three VJ Edgecom is the favorite ace Ba at minus 135 so then Ace Bailey at plus three yeah Bailey at plus 300 after that and then number four overall pick VJ Edgecom the favorite to go number four i I would like if he goes number three and number four overall if the Hornets say no we would also like him let him choose why are we No he can choose well when when cloning becomes a thing perhaps that’s something the NBA is going to have to legislate because if they take VJ Edgecomb I would love to have our own VJ Edgecom as well uh Ace Bailey plus 230 the the next back on the number four overall pick and then number five Trey Johnson then Ace Bailey then Khan Canip at plus 450 with the four overall Khan Caniple also plus 450 to go number four overall Trey Johnson plus 380 all right so there are your odds and and I’ve been doing a little bit of collecting of the draft takes so far and I see the Hornets trading back i see the Hornets taking VJ Edgecom i see the Hornets taking Khan Canipple i see the Hornets taking Trey John oh I see the Hornets moving up all right so um I have no idea what they’re going to do i don’t think anyone does and I’ll tell you another thing i’ve been doing this long enough that I know that more than a week before the draft if consensus starts to build around an idea I don’t believe that idea anymore and that’s how I feel about all this VJ Edgecomb stuff to three i think so much of that is Philly triing who is interested enough in VJ Edgecomb Charlotte or Washington or whoever or or someone interested in Ace Bailey all of this is about Philly moving off of that three overall pick i don’t believe for a second that VJ Edgecom is locked in there i think the Hornets have a very realistic opportunity to take VJ Edgecom four and I don’t and honestly I don’t think they should panic and try to trade up as Sam Bassini suggested they do he did he didn’t have any intel but in their latest mock draft he suggested they move up i don’t suggest that i don’t think there’s any reason to give up a pick for a possibility that may very well be there for you because I don’t think Phillyy’s gonna actually make that pick right and and I did bring up the Bassini move and it was more so trading up instead of trading back um I last question because I think if they moved back with Washington as provided as an example by Matt if they move back to six where Washington is selecting and then they just are are going to have their pick of Khan Canipple or Trey Johnson you know there still is the Yakonis part of this that that I think is interesting because Kristen Peak had that that it’s all quiet on Yakonis and the Hornets are kind of rumoredly interested hold on I’m going to have to have a fle break okay let’s go back to it that’s that that’s how we do it very quickly so I still think that he’s a little bit in the mix i I just look at some of his numbers i looked at his advanced analytics doug you look at like he gets to the rim a good bit he finishes at the rim at a really high rate we love to see that he takes a lot of his shots in the right spots with Charles Lee wanting you know with the kind of system that he runs and I feel like he does fit well in the style of shots that he does take with some of these guys i I’m just Yakonis is never going to be too far out of my mind i’m not saying I want him over VJ Edgecomb for certain or Trey Johnson or Khan Canipple but I just always think that he’s going to be somewhere for the Hornets to possibly select especially with the way that the Hornets went rogue and selected Tan Salon last year you’re not giving him a rose but you are having a fling with Yaki Chonish right now you You are And I’d be I 100% honestly like I I think that the Hornets are interested i I there are some things that have me interested you know the the bad the bad stuff is the shooting numbers aren’t great um but I I I think the the form is fine uh he’s he turns it over a lot but it’s also the kind of turnovers where he tries stuff and I like that like I I still think he’s creative i I do like his handle um the turnovers isn’t him just getting pickpocketed it’s him trying to force some things and I think you can coach that back but anyways just all that to say when you trade back and we’re saying “Oh it’ll just be between Trey and Khan.” I just think just don’t forget about Yakonis also being a part of the mix for sure and if we learned anything recently on Every Hornets box score I just did a rewatch of the first episode of Real Access that the Hornets did last season and it was all about the draft and the leadup to the draft and them falling in love with Tan Salon and we just had no idea and and in their workout with Ton you had Charles Lee and Jeff Peterson talking to each other very much like this is our guy we know it’s our guy we don’t we’re watching them play right now but like we already know this is the player that we want and so they very well could have decided that Yaki Jonas or some other player was the player that they wanted and they’re going to find a way to go get that player and we’re just not going to know about it until draft night that is with this crew that is very much a possibility so I’m not I’m not counting it out and it could be it could be Yak it could be Khan Canipple they could have that they could have the same feelings about a guy who plays physical enough on defense and makes up for a lack of athleticism with a high basketball IQ knowing where to be on the floor at all times and an incredible knockdown shooter which by the way the Hornets need a lot of shooting so it could be a number of these players and and VJ Edgeco there could be just as much smoke around Hornets and VJ as I think there is around VJ and Philadelphia yeah all right coming up next on the Locked On Hornets podcast he’s everywhere speaking of last year’s draft selection Tan Salon he’s in the gym baby he’s working hard he’s here in the States he’s working with Charles Lee a video is released we new draft workout video from Tan or not a draft workout video a workout video from last year’s draft pick ton Salon ton working out with old Charles Lee the ball coach here with the Charlotte Hornets looking good working on some riproughs some drives from the corner some moves off of the dribble doug give us some more context on this video yes so this uh comes to us courtesy I found it on Hornets Reddit but it comes to us courtesy of invisible work_MVNTt on Instagram which I did a little digging well let me read the let me read the post on this first it says “As a player there’s nothing that will make me trust or believe in a coach more than seeing him work in the trenches with me a player’s coach when you want to rebuild a culture it starts with the relationship between the players and coaches.” Huge shout out to Coach Lee humbly asked if if he could help in any way possible i truly appreciated the help and experience and I know Ton did too as you see Charles Lee out there with the I don’t know what they call that thing there the pad uh you know simulating simulating contact letting Ton work through that contact to get open space uh inside to score but this invisible work_MVnt is actually Bington Stevens III who played some college ball believe it’s South Alabama he’s a Charlotte native so I assume this is in Charlotte somewhere and uh he played a little bit of pro ball overseas and now is a player development coach so Ton working with some player development coaches and Charles Lee humbly asked if he could get involved what do you think about that well it you know it’s yeah very very cool that Tan Salon uh had those nice things to say about Charles Lee i I do agree it is cool that Charles Lee is working with him and then I guess this is also a perk of having a younger coach that goes out there and battles with you i can’t see Steve Clifford at the top of the key sticking with Tan Salon this way it’s just not a visual that I can come away with so perhaps that’s something that is a perk of having a younger head coach and by the way there is a South Alabama connection with this Hornets team jordan Cernamp was appointed the South Alabama basketball program director of operations matthew Graves somebody I know well Indiana shout out Butler basketball south Alabama has a couple of ties to Butler and also the Hornets but anyways South Alabama makes sense yeah South Alabama and him being a a Charlotte native it all it all makes sense so what what we’re seeing here is that Ton in the summer continuing to work on his game with with somebody that I I’m going to assume this is in Charlotte it might not be but somebody close close close to where the team is and then you’re right i think an old school coach and I’m not saying this necessarily about Steve Clifford but an old school coach I think would view oh my gosh here we go player finding some player development coach that’s not part of our system that’s not helping in the way that we want exactly to be helped so I’m not going to be involved i’m just going to wait till this guy gets into camp and then I’ll just try to erase all of that work instead what you have here is Charles Lee going I can’t stop these guys everybody has their own guys now instead I’m going to go and see if I can be a part of it that way I can influence it in some way that way I can have my say at all times and make sure that this guy is moving in the direction that we want to move him into particularly because he is so young so impressionable his game could go a thousand different ways he could there’s a thousand different things he can focus on why not try to have some influence on what that is even if it’s with another player development coach I love that yeah yeah no 100% would love to see that by the way I know Cern Camp is is you know a couple of stops removed i’m just saying there’s some South Alabama connections with the Hornets he’s a GLeague right he was a G- League coach for a while right yeah yeah yeah cern camp now I believe with the Radford if I’m not mistaken but was with PE anyways I just wanted to make clear that he’s not the coach anymore it’s actually DJ Baker the G-League coach for the Hornets but yes some South Alabama connections and I love seeing that the head coach is working individually with a guy like Ton look man ton still has a lot of work to do and and he all the time spent in the gym this it’s exactly what he needs what’s nice is that once they drafted him at number six with all of the uh value on character all the value on work ethic this is why you drafted him because you knew Tan Salon was not going to be a finished product by any stretch his first year he was not going to get all that much run unless there was injury which turned out to be the case his rookie season but it was because you knew on June 17th 2025 he was going to want to work on his game and he was going to want to do it badly th this is the exact reason that you take him at number six in what is considered a weak draft if you feel like he does reach his potential then the potential is greater than some of the other guys that they could have selected even if it means you got to go through a three-year process to get there there’s still a lot to go through but the the benefit of the doubt that Salon is going to go through it that he’s going to put the work in that’s a lot of the battle that you got to figure out with these guys and so I like that uh they’re seeing the fruits of that i like that they are being proven right here by him continuing to work out and I believe that’s Jeff Peterson under the basket so you not only have the coach he’s there yep he’s there yeah you have you have the the president of basketball is he the president now is he the executive vice president i’m not sure he was EVP i think he graduated i don’t think he’s EVP of basketball ops he’s the shot caller he’s the head honcho yeah exactly um so you know you have him there as well showing total investment into this young player i think it makes sense because you know they did first draft pick they did take a project and just looking at Tan in this video if this project works out it’s kind of the key to unlocking everything because the athleticism the wingspan the ability to get a shot in places that and and the and just the like I I don’t know there’s so much to be excited about here i think it’s kind of the key to unlocking a lot for the Charlotte Hornets if he works out if he continues to develop in the way that they think he is i love what they’re working on here too it’s not all right we’re going to you know work on a bunch of spot up threes it’s catch quick movement straight to the hoop like stuff that we didn’t see a lot and if we did see it from Ton it looked a little awkward they’re trying to knock a lot of that awkward movement out of his game and get him to be a lot more versatile offensively and and again that’s the that’s the way that he gets into this rotation full-time next season is if defense because I thought defensively he made a ton of progress as the season went on i think offensively is where you know unless he was shooting a three wide open you know there were a lot of questions there so I’m glad they’re working on this too all right coming up next on the Locked On Hornets podcast i could watch this all day look at that get him oh okay he’s everywhere all right we have a couple of other uh not a couple mock drafts uh we we have a few more to go before we get to the NBA draft i guess that’s a week’s worth right seven days out seven days more of mock drafts a little bit more days out with the weekend we got one that was released like within the last 30 minutes of this recording so this one’s hot and fresh baby crispy Cream sign the hot and fresh sign is on that’s still to come last segment loh so let’s talk about the mock draft sickness that has infiltrated you for about 10 years now what’s the latest in the Doug Branson mockdraft update all right so we’ve got a new one here from ESPN Jonathan Gavone or as we like to call him Phony Gavon here with I don’t know if this is even intel anymore i think everyone’s guessing right now what’s going to happen at three or four uh three he’s got VJ Edgecomb going to the Philadelphia 76ers he’s he writes that Edgecom takes over the spot from Ace Bailey after a positive visit to Philadelphia where sources say he made a strong impression in a private workout as well as meetings with the front office and ownership he appears to be the quote leader in the clubhouse currently with Bailey losing momentum after refusing to visit initially unsatisfied with his search for a proven pathway to development aka Ace man ace is gonna slide i just I can’t you know whether whether Philly takes VJ or takes another option or trades the pick entirely to un Ace is going to slide unless unless he can convince Washington or someone else to move up uh he obviously doesn’t want to go to Philly where he knows he’s going to be buried by some more veteran talent and a team that’s going to be interested in making the playoffs and less interested in playing a rookie you know 35 minutes a game anyway Charlotte takes Khan Canipple out of Duke canipple has some real fans among NBA teams in this portion of the draft with proponents highlighting his elite movement spot-up shooting emphasis on his ability to shoot off movement as opposed to his actual movement defensive smarts and playmaking as well as an analytics friendly profile that shines through in team draft models khan Canipple to pick for Charlotte at number four well and I also think that Jeremy Woo goes on to write or if it’s Phony Gabon I think one of them writes that Canipple is there’s some interest in him with the Hornets and the Jazz I think is another team that is showing interest and then that the floor um is eight guess that’s what they’re throwing out there that he wouldn’t fall any further than eight is that where Brooklyn is picking pelicans seven Brooklyn eight i think that’s right yeah the way this shakes out is Trey Johnson to Utah Ace to Washington uh Fierce to Pelicans at seven Malawash to eight at Brooklyn okay yes Brooklyn would be the floor I guess and according to this write up so still a lot of high praise for Khan Canipple and it looks like we’ll be trying to figure out what shooting guard we want between Khan Canipple Trey Johnson and then again possibly Yakonz depending on if they uh trade back far enough yeah I look I don’t have any problem particularly in a VJ Edge Coneless world if Khan Canipple joins the Charlotte Hornets because I think there’s a lot to like in his game particularly if you’re someone that would like the Charlotte Hornets to win sooner rather than later and you would like a reaction pick to the Tan Salon freak athlete well not really freak athlete but freak physical profile player raw prospect if you want a reaction to that I think that’s Khan Canipple and so that that I think he would be a nice addition i would hope that the Charlotte Hornets would explore every opportunity if they did fall in love with Khan to move back a few spots or even all the way to eight and just take their chances and if if Khan Caniple gets you know scooped up before then then you’ve got options there whether it’s Carter Bryant or Yakonis or there’s several other players that you could make fine additions to the team and pick up additional assets you know I think in that trade there was a trade back scenario that I think it was Vini there was or maybe it was no ceilings there was a podcast that suggested trading back to Washington and picking up Cory Kisspert and and the idea there being you move back you don’t pick up an additional draft asset but you pick up a player that can help you shoot which the Charlotte Hornets they were like 28 in three-point percentage last season and and a lot of that’s health but not all of that’s health you’ve got to have some additional shooting on your bench and I think Kisser would be a good addition so I think there’s a lot of there are a lot of things that they can do a lot of things that they can explore by moving back and still able to get Khan Canipple rather than do that at four and I think a lot of people because to me Khan Canipple outside of Malawash is like the guy that would get the most groans from Charlotte Hornets fans i think I think so really yeah because I I I think there’s the local angle and I think what’s happening is at least when we interact with people listening to Wes and Walker a lot of people want Khan Canipple here in Charlotte and it’s again because of what he did at Duke if Khan Canipple had the same exact profile same exact funny name and everything except he played at USC Southern California I don’t know if he’d get the same fanfare but because he played at Duke there are a lot of thumbs up on that selection they’d like the hometown kid what I think they would really hate the fans that is trading back and selecting again Yakon is I think that’s when people would be really really mad i think there’d even be the backers for Malawatch because of some of the Duke angle because there’s a need for center i know you would not be one of those i think that there would be some backers here from Hornets fans if he was the selection but that that’s it’s funny you mentioned that cuz I was going to ask you what what what’s the scenario that happens the realistic scenario that happens that makes Hornets fans the angriest is it trading back and selecting the Illinois guard because I think that’s what my choice would be but I I don’t I don’t know what that other choice would be besides that to be honest with you of course it’s short of trading out of the first round altogether which isn’t going to happen so realistic scenarios to me it would be moving back a few spots and selecting Yakatonas i think that’s what would make fans up most upset i think they would be confused by that more than upset they would be they would be going and you know watching a bunch of Illinois highlights trying to figure out what the Well you know it’s the Star Wars thing confusion leads to fear leads to hate and they go to the dark side off of that maybe I I think all of the comps of Come on to Bismac Bombo and Mark Williams i think I think people would look past the Duke connection and right into the hate of going down that particular path again and so yeah I think that would be worst case scenario is trading back particularly trading back into that right yeah you you’re you’re even saying that from a Hornets fans perspective that that that would get the worst reaction from Hornets fans is is drafting Malawatch still i think I think so i bet because I know it is for you i think because and I’m saying well I’m well it’s a little bit of comment modering monitoring not just our comments but but Reddit as well and and and Twitter and all of these other places i I do think that that would be uh the most booed selection yeah may you know we don’t talk a lot about Malawatch on West and Walker so perhaps I’m just not exploring that part of NBA draft text messages but I we’re getting a lot of uh positive feedback for Canipple people like Khan Canipple so I do too again I like it i And and it and at four if that’s the selection if it goes VJ and then Khan and they select him over Trey I’ll understand i mean I’m a big Trey guy but I see the holes in his game too i think Trey could go either way uh I think Khan would be a safe a safer selection had they gone safe in the last draft if they had gone clinging or something else and then they went safe again I would start to question like are they you know what’s what’s going on there but you know I think off of the off of the Ton pick if they win Khan Caniple I would get it uh I wouldn’t be super angry at it well and last thing we should mention here just real quickly we actually have some combine measurements from him remember he did not work out um and that was because of an injury but apparently he worked out a little bit later and he had a faster shuttle time than VJ Edgecomb which is interesting barely 292 to VJ’s 293 but the shuttle time interesting had a higher standing vertical jump 31 12 in than Dylan Harper uh had a better max vert 36 1/2 in than Cooper flag and ace Bailey hey the the vertical is very good um the three quarters the three/4er sprint was like the slowest or the second slowest among guards like he’s not but we knew that like that’s where we say when we say he’s like not in his athleticism struggles he’s not going to get like a chase down block you know on defense he’s going to have to be in the half court to be effective he’s not going to be a transition defender uh he’s not going to help you lead a transition break you know that’s where the sort of the Joe the high-end Joe Engles comparisons come in uh but yeah well just real quickly the the lane agility time was 1192 that’s one of the worst uh that’s like up there i saw James Plow right say it’s like Hansen Yang territory which is you know who else don’t like that but there’s a little But you know the guy that we talked about yesterday that just got traded for four first round picks Desmond Bane there was a little bit of that like he like he moves like an ice cream truck you know i mean there’s not you know there’s certain that there’s Yeah there’s just certain guys that have certain strengths one of his is not going to be you know being very agile uh in that way or or doing any kind of chase down action yeah the the the only people that he beat with lane agility time are three centers and Derek Queen who lapsed the field with how slow his lane agility time was ryan Kulkbriner Kaman Malawatch and McKenzie Embako those are the only guys that he beat and he’s the only point guard combo guard down there like the lane agility time was super super super slow but give me biceps like Desmond Bane I’ll draft you just give me the biceps that’ll do it for Lockdown Hornets thanks for making us your first listen we’re free and available anywhere you get your podcast and that includes YouTube there’s Doug Branson go follow him on his Substack every Hornets box he beat my time he beat my lane agility time that’s for sure you know my god well I don’t Would I put up a 15 i hope I’d put up a 15 i’m sure it would be terrible compared yeah Derek Queen would be laughing at me i’d be lapping the field also listen to Lockdown NBA with Matt Moen Hayes i’m Walker Male listen to me wfnz every weekday from 12 to 300 p.m have a great rest of your day we’ll be back with you tomorrow bye-bye
Doug and Walker react to Matt Moore’s latest draft intel and what the Hornets might do if VJ Edgecombe is off the board at #3. Plus, Tidjane Salaun’s offseason grind with Charles Lee gives fans hope for his continued development.
Doug Branson and Walker Mehl dive into the latest draft buzz surrounding the Charlotte Hornets, sparked by Matt Moore’s intel that VJ Edgecombe could go to Philadelphia at #3. If that happens, the Hornets might trade back from #4—potentially with Washington—and find themselves choosing between Kon Knueppel, Tre Johnson, or even Kasparas Jakucionis. The hosts dissect mock drafts, evaluate rising and falling stock (including Ace Bailey’s), and highlight what options might offer the most long-term upside.

Then, the focus shifts to a workout video of 2024 first-round pick Tidjane Salaun training with head coach Charles Lee. Doug and Walker break down the footage, comparing it to a basketball Zapruder film, and discuss what it reveals about Lee’s player-first coaching style. Salaun’s effort, paired with organizational support, might be the key to unlocking his raw potential and accelerating the Hornets’ rebuild.
The guys also tackle which realistic draft-night scenarios would most enrage Hornets fans—trading back and taking Kasaparas? Drafting a slow-footed big? They round things out with thoughts on combine data and comparisons to past draft whiffs and wins. Packed with sharp opinions and informed speculation, this episode is essential for any Hornets fan tracking the franchise’s next big move.

Best available must be VJ 10:31
For the Washington Wizards to acquire pick #4, what would Charlotte want in return, besides pick #6?
Pretty sure it's in Charlotte. Jeff Peterson was in the video as well
Pauseeeeee
Bunch of Ayooo pauses in this video!
Walker had to mention Krispy Kreme now I'm hungry lol.. Best glazed donuts on the planet and I hate glazed donuts . I think if VJ is off the board, I think you take Kon he's better defensively than Tre Johnson
If VJ gone take ace
The Hornets should trade the pick and Bridges for Jarren Jackson jr
It’s going to be Kon
Kon is ok, not over Tre or VJ but if VJ is gone… I’m cool with almost anything … I’d prefer Ace but I get it… tbh I’d rather reach out to pelicans ! Pick 7 and Herb for pick 4 and Josh Green
Hornets!!!! Please, please, don't draft Kon Knuppel….smh. Especially if Tre Johnson or VJ Edgecombe or Derik Queen or Maluach are available.
Hornets have a theme of drafting the second best player from a college team and it never works out.
Brilliant podcast Walker and Doug 🙌🏻can’t wait to see what happens in the draft 🏀. I think there’s a list of 5/6 players who we could draft which is bonkers 😃
Wild to pass up on ace bc we're scared hornets can't develop a future star 😅 sad and pathetic if true. An organization should bet they can develop any player especially a potential star
You not slick Walker, we all know you set up phlegmgate. In case your Pacers miss out on a title you had a contingency plan to mask the pain to get through these next few pods🤔🧐
It will be just like the Hornets to draft Kon at #4. He might be an ok role player just because you can put him in the corner 3. He will not be able to guard anyone.
I don't see Kon being star… Its better to get Tre or just risk with Ace.
Gonna make this loud and clear Jakucionis has MAJOR turn over issues. 6 turn overs in each of his last 4 games. 6! In 4 games in a row!
If they pick Konka, I’m groaning at 210db.
The gym and personal trainer tj was at is the same one tre johnson trains at….
Best scenario is trade up for Harper. I like Kon but can’t take him over Ace or Tre.
I still don't understand why y'all are so down on Ace Bailey. I'm not even a Hornets fan anymore, but that seems like a no-brainer.
lol even Illinois fans know that Jak is trash. Talk to Haize on locked on bulls about him. Nobody thinks he’s good
Ace Bailey is gonna be the next Kobe. the next SGA. another what if they just kept the future potential HOFer. fml.
Draft strategy if Edgecomb is gone at #4. Hornets trade #4, #33, #34 and Josh Okogi to the Wizards for #18, #40 and Bilal Coulibaly. Use 18 to draft Cedric Coward and #40 for a European stash Bogoljub Marcovic.
Tidjaun is still the pure Hornets choice.
Any chance we move down to 7 and pick up Herb Jones? not sure how aggressive NOLA is to move up
