yo what up guys i’m Sammy and welcome back to the soul drop in this video we’re going to be talking about the best hoop shoes for outdoor court so if you are playing on an outdoor court which uh I feel I feel bad because when I I guess I’m just getting old though you know what I mean because when I play on outdoor court some of my homies they they like playing on outdoor court i’m like dude I don’t want to play on outdoor court but they kind of drag me i’m like okay let’s go and then I I die you know what I mean because uh yeah the outdoor courts yeah comparing it to wood floors which are actually soft you know they actually bend a little bit absorb a little bit of the the impact asphalt and concrete does not and when you’re playing on outdoor court it just hurts my feet hurts hurts my knees you know what I mean also it’s freaking hot now that it’s summer it’s blazing hot so the sun’s just beating down on the floor the the floor is freaking hot and then it kind of goes up into your shoe and then your feet are freaking hot right so uh yeah as far as the an outdoor you know basketball shoe goes you need really good uh outsole durability right so you want a you know hard rubber you want thick grooves of course also for cushion you want good cushion you don’t want something super stiff uh I feel like you know if you are younger though it’s not a huge deal but I feel like if you do want to save your legs uh it’s probably a good idea to have a well cushioned shoe if you can right and uh it isn’t a super important though i guess it depends on the person but the upper as well is important uh I guess okay so there there’s two two aspects to the upper right so for for the upcoming summer or I guess it is summer now so for the summer right now you want a very well ventilated shoe right so it’s going to be a thin upper it’s going to be very open right as far as like whatever it might be an open mesh or something like that but but be careful because if you do tow drags if you know that you do tow drags you probably don’t want a very thin material you know what I mean you probably want something uh that has a little bit of fuse here like in the toe box so that you know if you do tow drags you do get a little bit more durability you know what I mean so it depends if you do tow drags you want a thicker upper or something to cover that part of the toe box which I’ll tell you guys right uh but yeah if you guys do want to get any of these shoes I try to leave in the field link in description box if you do choose to get any of these shoes it does help me out if you buy through the free link in description box but let’s get it started right off with the Nike GT Jump Academy right so this shoe is going for 55 56 bucks right it retails for 80 bucks I believe it was right 80 or 90 bucks first of all a cheap shoe right you don’t really want to spend a lot of money on a shoe that you’re going to be wearing outside well I guess you can though if you are only playing on outdoor court um but either way the cheaper the shoe the better I guess because you know shoes will wear out uh way quicker on outdoor court compared to an indoor court but anyways yeah it’s a very very cheap shoe also the outsole is freaking crazy the grooves are so thick the rubber is really hard so the outsole you’re covered right also the cushion the cushion definitely isn’t the best though the cushion it is the GT Jump Academy so it is actually pretty nice for the cushion on an indoor court but it’s not like amazing for impact protection you know what I mean so uh I wouldn’t say you’re super covered in that aspect though you know so just be careful with that however I feel like for most people you should be okay because I I feel like it does have a little bit better cushion than most other shoes you know what I mean so uh because you know the foam is actually thick you know so it’s not the best for core field but you do have a little bit of impact protection and then the upper also it’s like a thicker kind of mesh material it actually feels a little bit bulky so it’s not the best for summer it’ll your feet are going to be a little bit hot but you will be covered if you do tow drags uh so yeah GT Jump Academy I feel like is a pretty good option especially if you’re trying to save money right next we got the Team Joker so the Team Joker is a really good option the out the outsole is actually very very hard you know the the rubber is very hard the grooves are really thick so you should be fine on outdoor core right so the cushion also is really nice it is using quick suki tech foam it’s full length you have a soft mesh stroll board uh you also have pretty good core fuel but the impact protection is really nice right so you should be fine for the cushion as well and the upper you should be good to go because you do have that leather material in the toe box so even if you do tow drags you should be fine you should be covered uh as far as the ventilation goes it’s not the best i mean you do have the side that kind of like land aweave type of material but it’s not going to be the most well ventilated shoe so just be careful with that but team joker is a very nice option right all right next we got the big three 6.0 so this shoe is actually pretty dang nice as well the outsole has got you covered though the grooves are really thick the rubber is very hard so uh you should be fine for durability for the rubber as far as the cushion goes you should be fine as well they are using a dual layered or I guess a triple layered system if you count the the actual plate but as far as the foam goes it is two types of foam and it’s actually very very soft right under foot cushion is really soft and impact protection overall is very nice as well so you should be fine for hard impacts uh for like outdoor use however if you want good ventilation you should be covered because it’s a really thin material but if you want you know good durability if you do tow drags probably not the best option because there’s really no synthetic material you know what I mean i feel like you would develop a hole pretty easily if you do tow drags on an outdoor course so just be careful with that but overall if you don’t do tow drags then you should be fine in the B3 6.0 right all right next we got the AG5 so the AG5 is a really nice outdoor shoe uh the the outsole you should be covered right i don’t I don’t think it’s the best however because the grooves are a little bit thin um but it you should be fine the outsole definitely doesn’t seem terrible also the cushion is really really nice you have amazing cushion amazing underfoot cushion uh you are a little bit higher up off the ground which is fine you know but you know great impact protection of course and also you know the upper seems really nice you know you do have a very sturdy very stiff upper especially in the regular AG5 right you got that patent leather so uh even if you do tow jacks you should be good to go in the AG5 so there’s that next we got the Jordan Luca 77 so it is a cheaper shoe and I wouldn’t say it’s like the best option you know what I mean for impact protection for the cushion but uh it is a pretty nice option especially for the price i I believe it was like a hundred bucks right so the outsole is really nice you you have very thick grooves the rubber is hard so you should be good for the durability of the outsole also the cushion you should be covered like just like the GT Jump Academy I don’t think it’s like the best option it has a little bit of a softness to it has a it’s like a thicker foam so uh it does absorb a good amount of impact but it’s like not the best for impact protection you know what I mean so uh I feel like you should be okay though but again not the best for the upper however you should be fine right on the sides you do have good ventilation but like in the toe box you do have that kind of like synthetic material which will be good for you if you do toe drags so the Lucas 77 especially for the price is a pretty good option next we got the Adidas Day 9 right so uh yeah it’s going to be a very hot shoe however it it seems like it’ll be very durable right the upper you do have that like leather or synthetic leather material you’re going to be good to go even if you do tows right uh also the outsole seems pretty good you know the grooves are like thick uh but also the cushion is really nice you have that full length light strike and it’s really soft and impact protection is really good so uh the Day Night is a very good option especially for the for the price right it’s a pretty dang cheap shoe so there’s that next we got the Shadow 6 V2 so uh that shoe is also a very nice option it is using tough rubber and tough rubber is supposed to be more durable than a like traditional rubber so the durability of the outsole should be fine also the cushion is really nice you know you have full length boom it’s soft impact protection you should be covered i don’t think it’s like the best for impact protection but it is better than average so you should be pretty good to go for impact protection uh the upper is really freaking thin though right so ventilation is going to be really really good you do have like an underlaying material though so it’s not going to be terrible if you do tow drags but I wouldn’t say it’s like the best for the upper durability if you’re playing on out court if you do tow drags so just be careful with that but still a very nice option right and it’s also on sale right now for $100 you know you can get the Shadow 6 V2 or the regular Shadow 6 with kind of like that synthetic uh leather material so there’s that next we got the Wow One Low so the W one low the outsole so you do have that pivot circle on the where the ball of your foot is so that’s good however the DNA looking kind of outsole doesn’t seem the best it’s actually kind of soft so it doesn’t seem like it’ll be the best for durability for outdoor courts but it seems like it’ll be pretty good though you know what I mean also the cushion’s really nice it’s so soft and uh you’re going to have really good impact protection in that shoe and also the upper it’s a really supportive feeling shoe and also uh it seems like it’ll be very durable because it is a leather material so you should be good to go in the Waw One Low next we got the LeBron Next Genesis right so that shoe it’s a little bit expensive right uh however you should be fine on out court for the outsole durability the rubber is really hard the grooves are extremely thick so uh outsole durability seems good also the cushion’s really nice right it’s soft uh it’s comfortable it’s also bouncy so uh for the actual impact protection you should be fine in that shoe as well and the upper I don’t know i feel like it it should be okay though you know because it is using that kind of like textile mesh material it is a little bit thin but it’s it’s not super thin like a like a really thin mesh so I feel like it should be fine you do have a little bit of the toe box like the edge of the toe box covered for like toe drags and stuff like that so there’s that next we got the New Balance 2-way V5 so the outsole seems pretty dang good uh it’s I don’t think it’ll be the best because the rubber isn’t super hard but it seems like it’ll hold its own so out of durability you should be fine also the cushion’s really nice though right uh it is using of course a fresh foam as well as fuel cell I believe it was and uh it has a lot of compression it’s not the best for you know core fuel but uh if you want impact protection if you want something soft you’re going to be good to go in that shoe also it’s like 120 bucks which is a really nice price for like the the quality of the shoe as well as like the the foam and the tech that you’re getting the upper also you should be fine there is a little bit of fuse in the toe box even though like it is an EM material and it even though it is soft you do have that fuse so you should be covered a little bit it’s not going to be terrible if you do tow jacks but also uh it’s not a super hot shoe either because it is an EM material so the 28V5 very nice option next of course we got the Joker one so we actually have multiple options for this shoe right so we do have the GT which is uh you know it has R rpu which will be a little bit more durable than the regular diamond grip rubber outsole from the regular Joker one right so but the Jo regular Joker one seems like it’ll be pretty good i mean there are some thick spots and some thick thin spots of the like outsole pattern so just be careful with that it doesn’t seem like it’ll be the best for out of durability but it also doesn’t seem like it’ be terrible right the cushion is really nice though right the uh the quick CQ techch foam or the CQT extreme in the GT really soft and for me the impact protection is really nice uh and also uh the regular Joker 1 has that leather material so you should be fine if you do tow drags uh but also we have the Joker 1 SE and the Joker 1 GTSE which is they’re using like a textile mesh it’s supposed to be for ventilation right so if you want like a really well ventilated shoe you have options for the Joker 1 which is really really nice so uh yeah Joker 1 is a very nice option next of course we got the serious player only easy one the outsole is using a polyurethane resin so you should be fine for durability the grooves are thick right and also the rubber or it’s not rubber but the outsole material is hard and also the cushion they have different midsoles that you can put in for the dropins right and uh for me I I really like the support as well as the explosive drop midsole for extra like thickness and also extra impact protection right you’re using the regular uh insoles and regular drop in midsoles i definitely don’t think it’ll be the best option you know for outdoor use um so yeah just use you know the explosive or the support but also the upper durability seems really good if you do tows right you are they are using like a canvas material so uh there is the easy one and last but not least we got the Wade 8085 Ultra right so just be careful with the EM material i mean we do have a a good amount of uh fuse like a synthetic material going over the tip of the toes so you should be fine uh for like toe drags however it’s just a really thin mesh material so it doesn’t seem like it’ll be the best for durability on outdoor right uh but the cushion is so nice with the full length super boom drop in it’s just so soft impact protection was really nice for me and also the outsole you should be fine for durability right it is using a mix of tough rubber as well as GCU I believe it was has uh really good durability the rubber seems hard the grooves are pretty thick as well so you should be fine for durability uh of the outsole in the 8085 Ultra so yeah those are my picks for the best outdoor basketball shoes that you can get right now uh hopefully I didn’t miss any i was trying not to miss any you know what I mean i feel like I might have but I mean I was thinking about the AR2 but the AR2 material is just so thin uh but yeah I mean if you want to do the AR2 I feel like you should be fine like the cushion’s really soft uh the outsole seems pretty durable as well it’s just the upper just doesn’t seem durable at all you know what I mean i guess if you are looking for ventilation though you should be fine in that shoe right um but what else right maybe the Kai 2 but the the outsole doesn’t seem super durable to me in the Kai 2 so I couldn’t or I didn’t include that shoe hardens no the outsole is really soft you know the rubber is really soft you know what I mean so uh yeah those are my picks uh again if you guys do want to cop in these shoes I try to leave them the link in description box hopefully this video helped you guys out
