i know our friends in San Antonio think the price is too high uh and and and and the original discussions including the number two pick andor Stefen Castle are not going very well uh on the Spurs end of the telephone i can tell you that everybody loves Kevin Durant even though he’s 36 soon to be 37 but the Phoenix Suns my understanding is Zach Low is they’re asking for a little too much i had one Eastern Conference executive say the name is better than the game uh which I thought was a little mean i thought that was Kevin Durant you look at Kevin Durant’s numbers last year and it’s like the game game’s pretty damn

that’s the problem with nba media, they look at stats. KD couldn’t lead a team to the playoffs where 67% of the teams get in
Trading potentially 15 years of a great player for 1-2 of kd changes the math. Kd or not.
I don't even understand how KD still has this much pull over 35. like yeah you have lebron but that's not most players.
The idea that the Suns can get the 2nd pick or the ROTY for an aging 37 year old guy on an expiring deal is silly. They are lucky the Spurs are offering 14th pick. They should be offering no picks in return for KD. Suns have no options
So lets talk about KDs game. Since 2020, the year after his injury when he returned, he has play in more than 65 games once. He averages like 45 games a year in the past 5 years. He also isn't a defender. Isn't a team leader. Isn't a positive locker room influence. And most importantly has no loyalty to anything but himself. So tell me again how his game matters in 2025? Because he can't lead a team to the play in anymore. Bus Rider all day

You cant give up axton of assets for Durant. If I'm the suns I take an offer on Sochan, Barnes, Vassell and a first.
I mean if they’re taking Harper at 2 why not trade the Suns Fox? Him, Harper and Castle would be crowded back court and it gives phoenix what they’re looking for in a proven player to pair with Booker
My Spurs are not going to give up the #2 pick or Stephon Castle. Perhaps KD should consider Houston or Minnesota. The Spurs are very young. He does not fit.
