it almost feels like it’s an open secret that Kaman will watch will be drafted by Messiah Yujiri and Olri Jamanti will then be unlocked and it’ll be amazing i kid but it does seem like Milwaukee will be drafted today we’ll be talking about who will the Toronto Raptors be drafting in this year’s 2025 NBA draft obviously I’d like to hear your opinions in the comment section what do you guys think with the ninth pick it is expected Milwaukee if Milwaukee is off the board is going to be drafted yakob Purle’s up for an extension and he had a career year but he doesn’t fit play stylewise how this team wants also it seems like Messiah Jiri is like infatuated with Kaman Watch i don’t even think that’s like a lie so to me the biggest thing is if Queen or Match whoever’s the big man that they take is that going to fit with I think Milwauke is a perfect fit with the Brandon Ingram if they keep RJ Barrett Scotty Barnes Emanuel Quickley Grady Dick Oiagi two-way push the pace core with size and length Derrick Queen’s a bit slower and like plays a bit more methodical in comparison to a watch now the other draft picks that they have is the 37th and 39th pick i expect them to keep those they also seem like a team that is going to I mean they have Jamal Shed do you think they go another guard like uh Javon Small javon Smalls kind of fits like their MMO in the second round another guy that they could go in the second round before because we’re going to just talk mainly about the first round just to give you guys some names to keep an eye out for because what does this team need positionalwise what are they looking for to help them so the Raptors are obviously looking for their long-term answer at center the expectation is Yaka Purle will either sign an extension and be traded or won’t sign an extension and be traded to a team that will sign into an extension they’re obviously going to like a rim protector with size rim running athleticism and good defensive instincts especially as we mentioned Yaka Purle’s future being so uncertain now to me the biggest question is trying to figure out what kind of team they’re going to be next year are they going to be playoff are they going to be competitive that’s seemingly the expectation and if that’s the case I think another guy in the second round they could look at is Jir Watkins who’s a two-way impact player who’s you know an older prospect coming out of Florida State he’s going to be able to play the two or the three maybe even some small ball four think kind of like Tory Craig jean Tunj is kind of like Bryce Censa maybe not as thick but similar game like 65 wing i could also see them looking at Kobe Brea Seion James Hunter Sales as all guys that in that range maybe an Alex Tui maybe Cam Jones Chaz Laneir help space the floor and give some you know offense off the bench I think is the biggest thing now the biggest biggest biggest biggest biggest biggest biggest biggest biggest question to me is if this is a team that is going to trade Yaka Purto it seems like they’re going to trade RJ Barrett just cuz he kind of doesn’t necessarily fit the timeline that not timeline but like the direction they’re going and that is the Emanuel Quickley Brandon Ingram Scotty Barnes trio mixed in with floor spacers and two-way players like a Grady Dick and Oiagi and Company so to me I think if you’re looking at Moatch or Queen I really think Queen would slow them down if Match is taken and queen is there guys I wouldn’t be surprised if they just trade back and take a guy like Jean Baron or an Asa Newuel because those guys Newell’s a little stiffer than Claxton but similar type big while Jean Baron is a lankier ono Congu and he would be able to help this team out day one so I wonder if this is going to be somebody who or a team that if their guy isn’t there they’re not going to just take somebody for the sake of taking somebody but instead they go ahead and they they draft or they trade back to draft the guy that fills their positional need without reaching for the sake of reaching in filling a gap that’s kind of how I view this especially if you look at a a team like the Raptors that statistically they were a team that they had their moments this past season where they looked like a competitive foe and Toronto went 30 and 52 like they are within arms reach of becoming a playoff team and I think the the biggest part is that Scotty Barnes 19 points 21 from RJ Barrett 17 quickly I know you didn’t play the full season perhap 14 and a half but as a unit this is a team that was eighth worst eighth worst in points per game they were actually the 10th best in rebounding now I want to point something out about those rebounding stats fourth best in offensive rebound but they were the seventh worst in defensive rebounds which is kind of weird to think and having a guy like Milwaukee is going to really help them especially be turn their transition offense into a weapon if they can start controlling those defensive boards so that’s that’s another big thing to me is that like getting a guy like Milwaukee or a Burn or Newell now if those guys are gone it becomes a little harder to think who’s going to be the player you target as I mean Colbrer could help you out uh he’s better he’s better than Colin Castleton so let me hear your thoughts
