so could the portland trailblazers be trading away anthony simons to the washington wizards this 2025 nba offseason well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net the link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself but this trade would see the portland trailblazers receiving jordan pool and the washington wizards receiving anne fernie simons chris murray and a 2031 second round draft pick so in my personal opinion this is actually a pretty fair and reasonable trade for both teams now these are two teams that aren’t exactly great both teams that want to make the playoffs next year and both could be looking to make a trade for a change of scenery perspective and in this case you’re flipping one good guard for another good guard that are truthfully speaking very similar in value in my personal opinion and they can i think both players could actually benefit quite a bit from a change of scenery now from portland’s perspective they have a good young core uh they of course have scoot henderson uh they have shaden sharp uh they have deandre eton they have jeremy grant they also in this case i guess anthony simons and this core just hasn’t really got it done so far in their time together in portland so perhaps if you want to add a very dynamic offensive player in jordan pool’s case maybe he thrives well with this young core and he can grow together with this group and maybe portland takes the next step as a franchise and they get back into the conversation in a pretty stacked western conference next year so a bit of a gamble for them but i think all things considered it’s a pretty even package now if you’re the wizards uh you’re kind of flipping one asset for three so for a rebuilding team if you want to sort of throw more darts at the dart board that’s probably a good thing for them i think anthony simons is a very talented young player getting better each and every season and he could be just as good if not better than jordan pool as early as next year so i think if you’re the wizards you probably get a slight edge in this deal in my opinion as i mentioned before uh trading one asset and getting three back for a rebuilding team is definitely the way to go with it in my opinion so if i had to pick a winner for this deal i’m going to go with the wizards by a slight little margin but as always leave your thoughts
