NBA Legend Reveals Knicks MASTER PLAN…

the New York Knicks master plan has been revealed by one of the Nick legends as the team has a glaring issue that has to be resolved going into next season or they will suffer a similar result with now multiple targets emerging for the New York Knicks in a move that would help them in a multitude of ways and we are going to break all that down what’s up guys welcome back to Nick’s Digest it’s Chris here if you guys are part of that 74% that’s not subscribed to Nick’s Dodis and you’re watching these videos make sure to subscribe if you’re enjoying the content we got multiple videos every single day like this one and much more in regards to the coaching updates as well there’s a lot going on with the Knicks right now so you want to make sure to stay updated and we will constantly be giving all you those updates but let’s jump into it there is a lot to go over on this New York Knicks team is we know it’s going to be a busy offseason for the Knicks instead of hiring a coach which is going to come first the team jumps into a free agency that is vital for their success going in to the future as we know Jaylen Brunson is one of the best players in the NBA and he has a solid core around him with Carl Anthony Towns O Giana Michaela Bridges Josh Hart Mitchell Robinson Deuce McBride being the rest of that top echelon of the team that we know as long as none of them get traded which is possible specifically Mitchell Robinson but we’ll get into that at a later date what we’re going to see is a team that needs to make some adjustments around the edges of this team now yes there’s the Kevin Durant noise yes there’s a Jannis antenna noise but all that being said personally I don’t think that’s what the Knicks need and neither does one of their legends who was very outspoken on the Knicks after watching them in the playoffs throughout the multiple rounds the Knicks made up until the conference finals as Knicks royalty and one of the best players to ever put on the Orange and Blue carmemelllo Anthony broke down what the New York Knicks do need to do over this offseason and he was absolutely right when being asked about this and just discussing everything that has to happen with the Knicks which is what fixes their problems saying Jaylen Brunson could score a lot easier if he got someone alongside him who could take that pressure off of him male is not taking the pressure off og is not taking the pressure off cat is taking the pressure off as a shooter and a big but Brunson needs another ball handler alongside him though what if we’re asking too much from somebody like a male Bridges kobe White’s available lonzo Ball’s available i’ll bring Lonzo Ball over here it’s a low risk and a high reward and on top of that he also said that I’ve been saying this i’ve been saying Lonzo to New York for a long time now when JB goes out of the game Lonzo can spoon feed everybody i’m not saying go get a superstar he needs somebody else who can relieve that as a guard another guard that can relieve that stuff the way that Hallebertton got Nemhard he needs a Nemhard on his team josh Hart is not a Nemhard mikuel Bridges is not a Nehard type of guard he needs that type of guard who is very explosive he don’t need Giannis knicks don’t need none of that you need a back court today and Carmemelllo Anthony is right now yes obviously you have a back court in the sense you have Jaylen Brunson melo is not disregarding that also very quickly when I was transcribing this off of Melo’s podcast transcribing Carmelo Anthony is an absolutely insane experience because we don’t curse on Nick’s Digest for the most part because of monetization issues the amount of things that I had to substitute the amount of words that I substitute in there unbelievable but on the topic of this and the New York Knicks in general I agree with Melo 100% i think most Knicks fans do the Knicks don’t need another superstar they have one he’s right there they have Jaylen Brunson they have Carl Anthony Towns man was an all-star starter this year look they have a good team nobody’s denying that nobody’s denying that the Knicks have a great team they also have stars the NBA is trying to punish teams for being topheavy or not even punish teams for being topheavy they’re trying to punish you for creating a team full of superstars and if that happens what’s going to what what it’s going to lead to is basically having a bench that’s just not going to work out if the Knicks trade for Aianis if they trade for uh Kevin Durant they want to keep obviously they want to keep Jaylen Barson but they also want to keep Carl Anthony Towns in the process so what we’re looking at is the team would be very very very very very topheavy something that the Knicks already had a problem with and yeah they’d be better or they’d be more topheavy with better talent but at the same time that’s not what they need they didn’t make the conference finals and lose because they didn’t have enough star power they didn’t have a bench they didn’t have anyone to take the pressure off Jaylen Brunson who had to dribble the ball the entire time with a calf and an ankle injury and I know everyone’s injured i’m not claiming the Knicks lost that series cuz Brunson was dealing with injuries obviously the Pacers were banged up too every team’s banged up in the playoffs i’m not trying to make some excuse i’m just saying that Bronson is the only ball handler on the Knicks and he’s going to feel that wear and tear so there’s so much pressure on him that again not taking anything away from the Pacers what I’m saying is that the Knicks shot themselves in the foot by only having one guy who can really control the tempo of the game in Brunson that was a Knicks mistake right there now I know there’s going to be people in the comments and you’re not incorrect that yes Tyler Kohic is being molded to do the to do this i’m I’m not going to disregard that tyler Kohlick is going to be an important player on this Nixie move very likely will be in the rotation next season and if you want to go that Kohlick route you can see if it works for the first half of the season there’s no reason why you can’t do that however as Melo said there are players available kobe White’s available lonzo Ball is available these are guys you can trade for and for good reason you should try to you look at Kobe White’s contract right now he’s making good money next year he becomes an unrestricted free agent 15 teams will have cap space next year the the free agency next year is going to be wild i know the last few years it’s mainly been an older guy switching teams the Paul Georgees of the world type situation that’s changing next off seasonason is going to be wild which means the trade deadline is going to be a bit quieter because of that we’re going to go back to more classic NBA of crazy off seasonasons and stuff like that at least in 2026 we’re going to see that with a bunch of guys coming off of deals but Kobe White’s an unrestricted free agent he’s not going to be the top free agent because there’s a lot of other free agents as well that are going to hit the open market there’s going to be a lot of teams with money that are going to try to be very careful with what they do for them i mean not all franchises are good so they’re going to make these mistakes but in regards to Kobe White this is a guy who’s got one year left on his contract answer me this why the hell would Kobe White stay with the Chicago Bulls what have they done for his career they’ve put him behind countless scorers before and then once he finally gets a chance to score the team absolutely sucks around him and it’s completely just not a good franchise at all the team has been terrible the Bulls have been an absolute joke of a franchise i thought Artarus was going to go in there and do a lot of good for them he did absolutely nothing right so or not nothing right but he has not been a good president of basketball operations the owner’s obviously a huge issue as well there where you’re hoping that he eventually sells the Bulls the way the White Socks are being sold but in regards to Kobe White why would he stick around on the Chicago Bulls the answer money if he gets paid if Kobe White gets paid a ton of money he’ll stick around if Kobe White does not get overpaid by the Bulls he won’t stick around and he shouldn’t so the Bulls have they have to understand that Kobe White due to this contract situation very likely could hit the door on the way out and just be like I’m done i’m I’m not I’m not staying here anymore i’m done and same goes for Lonzo Ball next year there’s a team option on his contract he got signed to a two-year extension and look it’s a good contract value-wise because if Lonzo’s healthy and able to produce he’s got a positive impact on winning but Lonzo’s also turning 29 he’s no longer that super young guy that had all that hype after Mike Cormba made that staff card with a 40inch vertical video this is a guy who the storyline of his career people are forgetting about those UCLA days all of a sudden it’s been nearly a decade since then and what we’re see was a decade ago that Lonzo Ball broke that guy’s ankles and nobody even knew who he was it was the viral video of a guy breaking someone’s ankles and then going out there and just like picking him back up and helping out that was Lonzo Ball that was the first time he went viral obviously since then Chino Hills did their thing and went to UCLA made the final four I want to say maybe Elite 8 um again it’s been a while we don’t think about that anymore we think about a guy who came in super hyped up and for the most part has just been injured forever what Lonzo Ball’s story has become is not initially what it once was what it is is a guy who’s went through hell and back with a knee injury and it everyone feels terrible for what Lonzo went through but the Bulls still suck and that’s not going to change they’re still going to be mid the last thing you want to be in basketball is middle of the road and that’s where they’re at right now so you look at these guys who very likely could end up leaving the Bulls if the Bulls are smart what they’re going to do is trade these guys off the team they’re going to move them and I don’t know if they will because that’s how they are white had an excellent season though he put up 20 points per game on the year with basically four rebounds and four and a half assists he got a steal per game shot 37% from the field and 45% or 37% from three and 45% from the field shooting 38% on corner threes can control the tempo of an offense can control the ball well excellent scorer excellent basketball player in general and then you look at Lonzo Ball his numbers were worse obviously he didn’t play a ton but he is 6’6 so he gives the Knicks some more size but the Knicks are to go that route putting up seven and a half points three and a half rebounds and three assists per game lonzo Ball obviously not what we once expected out of him shooting 36% from the field and 34% from three obviously not his best season once coming back from injury and there is valid concern that he’s never going to be that guy again because of all the injury concerns i hope he is just cuz I like Lonzo Ball but it is possible that this is it for him and Lonzo Ball has even spoken on the Knicks saying that he wants the Knicks to hire Mark Jackson saying Mark Jackson I don’t think he’s getting it but that’s just my opinion so Lonzo’s talking about the Knicks already so there’s that connection there there’s a lot going on with these teams that you could see something going down i mean Kobe White after the All-Star break 24.2 points per game in 34 minutes tonight i mean shooting 48% from the field 36% from three kobe White solves your problem you have another guard we’ve seen Jaylen Brunson play some of his best basketball when he has another guard a Kobe White the Emanuel Quickley’s out there obviously never play with Kobe White but like what I’m saying is having a guy like Kobe White out there would be similar to how he’s played well with Emanuel Quickley how he’s played well with Cameron Payne lonzo Ball same deal putting up 8.4 points per game last year and 24 minutes per game obviously 3.7 rebounds 3.3 assists numbers are basically the same anyway the shooting basically the same he didn’t have that jump after the All-Star break the way that White did but it also means Lonzo’s a lot cheaper so if the Knicks do want to go that route Lonzo can do what you need them to do as Carmelo said he could spoon feed the rest of this team he could get them baskets and the Knicks need someone who could take that pressure off of Jaylen Brunson and dominate the ball if there’s one thing Lonzo Ball is going to be able to do it’s going to be control the tempo of the offense the man’s an excellent point guard remember when Lonzo was coming in he was not really compared to Steph Curry most of all he was compared to Jason Kid because Jason Kid could control the tempo like nobody’s business and since I mentioned Jason Kid and I didn’t plan on doing this this is just it came to mind because I don’t write scripts or anything for these videos next one for Jason Kid they they want to do it lonzo starts to make more sense is all I’m going to say but they’re not going to go get Jason Kidd johnny Bryan’s going to be their head coach but with all this being said the Knicks do need to find another guy to dominate the ball if you want to trust Tyler Koolic I’m not going to argue with it i’m perfectly fine with him going that route he’s cheap he’s young he’s exciting he’s shown a lot of potential in the league and truly he’s already on the Knicks which makes things easier and it makes you have to spend less money towards that second apron and also you don’t have to trade for a guy making 10 to12 million there’s one guy who makes 10 to 12 million on the New York Knicks that is Mitchell Robinson are either of you guys trading or are any of you guys trading for either of those guys trading Mitchell Robinson for them yeah I didn’t think so because it’s Mitchell Robinson what he does is way more valuable to the Knicks right now than getting another ball handler something you might already have on your team in Kick as long as he pans out which I think he will or you could go sign a Oh I just bit my tongue dude ow or you can go sign a Tus Jones or Oh I want to curse um or a Chris Paul or something dude my eyes are watering look at that all right guys what do you think about all this should the Knicks go after that dude that that hurt oh my god yeah well luckily the video was ending anyway what do you guys think about all this should the Knicks go for them considering the trade situation should they trust Kohish should they go in the free agent route is Carmelo Anthony even right let me know in the comments down below like this video subscribe turn on post notifications my tongue hurts so bad have a great day and go nicks

  1. I don’t think we can trade for anyone without losing Mitch or deuce. Which takes away our depth anyway. Coby white is extremely unrealistic. We have to find a free agent, Caris lavert type of guy. Donte lol. Develop from with in, dadiet and kevin mccullar jr..Especially as 8th, 9th options? We don’t need much. Chemistry goes a long way, lateral moves for bench help doesn’t make sense. Mitch is a difference maker and we should never, ever trade him for another bench player. Ever.

  2. Kolek shows signs of being a great player. Too bad Thibad always had the brakes put on him.

  3. Kolek needs to play!!! Durant don't want to come to NY, he never did!! I guess it was a big mistake trading away all those 1st round draft picks for Bridges. What about Mark Jackson for coach?

  4. Deuce is thst guy the knicks couldve developed as his guard shooter but hes always injured as lonzo so no need to get Lonzo ball

  5. My view which I stated long ago is
Knicks need a defense first playmaking point guard with size Jalen is not a point guard he’s a shooting guard My order is Giddy who is a rf and than either a healthy Alonso Ball or Malcom Bragdon Kobe White is a excellent player but he’s a shoot first point guard and Knicks already have Brunson who for all of his offensive skills is a huge defensive and playmaking liability Hart Bridges or OG should come off the bench Along with that another dependable 3 point shooting wing A coach that will hold Brunson accountable and install a ball moving offense and the Knicks could be playing for the chip next year

  6. Let kolek play. go back to 72-73.the genius red holzman gave rookie dean meminger plenty of playtime during the season, and taking some playnaking time from clyde in playoffs, helped Knicks win tit
Clyde just assumed shooting guard spot.hey they.were both guards there.

  7. So this chit chat is a Carmelo anthony brain child…enough said….the guy that torpedoed Phil Jackson's triangle offense bc you had to pass the ball(Jordan didn't have a problem with it)around and poisoned porzingas mind to the point jackson had to trade him…please stop ….lanzo ball….another Amari stadomire…..no thanks….

  8. I think melo should be the next head coach of the knicks. His high IQ is unmatched. He helped coach the usa team from the sidelines

  9. you guys really might not like this but what about we trade duece n hart for zo n white n move mitch up to the starting five n sign horford on a vet min i know we love hart but i fear we might have to do what the celtics did with trading smart

  10. That's an excuse to defend the midget ball hogging he needs to admit brunson needs to be more of a pg still it's exposing brunsons game he just don't wanna put him on blast.
Brunson is no superstar foh he an all-starand stop saying take pressure off brunson he had scorers he don't pass stop the defending butter ball

  11. Theres no point in making a trade just for the sake of making one, only person that we should even think of trading is KAT and if so should be for multiple players in positions of need for depth and to save money. Because the only upgrade on KAT player for player is Giannis.
I think we should see what FAs we can pick up, theyll definitely be upgrades of Payne and Shamet and just just run it back, give Kolek and maybe McCuller some burn aswell. Its only up from here, Be Patient with these guys, weve been terrible for 2 decades and were finally winning and have a good team and everyone wants to go back to the days of making stupid trades like were playing 2k

  12. Don't need another injury risk on team…if Lonzo Ball was healthy this isn't a conversation but with Mitch, KAT and OG who still need to keep showing consistent durability especially Mitch we cant take another chance. We can Trade Josh Hart he is 19 million so we can get one of them and gain more cap space or they can throw in a sweetner to make the money work

  13. Fair points but why is it every time Brunson is out of the game bridges takes on that role naturally. Brunson is taking the air out of the rock you can’t catch with 5 seconds in the corner and create. I like the lonzo idea tho great idea to get easy buckets for guys off the bench and switch the pace

  14. They need to make big adjustments. Are you kidding me? They never should’ve got bridges in the first place and clearly they’re not gonna get their return back from him, but we shouldn’t keep him. He was a waste of money.
