Kevin Durants CAMP Want Spurs Trade

Kevin Durants CAMP Want Spurs Trade

what’s going on everyone so a lot of talks about Kevin Durant um and it appears more likely than not he is expected to be traded by draft night right that the Phoenix Suns their main priority seems to be they want to get back a center in any type of Kevin Durant trade um as well as you know obviously recoup assets and you know kind of try to get the best package available for Kevin Durant um and they’re really looking to potentially land something and get something done sooner rather than later and around the the draft day right so we are you know couple weeks away from any type of potential Kevin Durant trade um and we’ll see where he ends up going obviously there are several destinations a lot of rumors and reports going around on several teams from you know the Knicks to you know the Houston Rockets to obviously the San Antonio Spurs but Kevin Durant has a ton of power right because he is going into new contract year so he can be one of those guys that goes like “Hey I want to go to this place right and yeah you could trade for me but in a year I’m going to leave you.” And then just go sign with that team and so he has a lot of power and say because he can control it and also it’s not like Kevin Durant given his age right that and you can argue his injury history right that he is going to get this massive return you know if this was even five years ago he’d probably get a insane haul but at this stage of his career there are some question marks right like teams aren’t going to sell the farm for Kevin Durant just for him to play another two three years right it has to make sense for teams and it has to make sense and fit some of these teams timelines and whatnot and that’s why the San Antonio Spurs do make a lot of sense for Kevin Durant right they are in this position to where they have the assets to go and trade for Kevin Durant without having to break the bank or break up any of their main core you’re not trading the number two pick or anything like that to go get Kevin Durant you’re not trading Stefon Castle or anything like that so you give yourself an opportunity with De’arra Fox and Victor Wimyama and then add in Kevin Durant and potentially win right now while also Victor Womenyama is cheap enough to where if you do sign Kevin Durant to a new contract say a two-year deal right like Victor’s going to get a new extension that’ll kick in at the last year of Kevin Durant’s deal but also it’s not going to be this $60 million contract right and Kevin Durant might even take a discount to to help flexibility there’s been even like talks and murmurss about that but we’ll see regardless the point is is that Kevin Durant to the Spurs makes all the sense in the world and the Spurs landing Kevin Durant at the right price that’s key makes all the sense in the world as well right but again what does Kevin Durant want is the big question well reports have came out that Kevin Durant’s camp and I want to be clear that Kevin Durant’s camp wants the San Antonio Spurs now you can interpret that as well if Kevin Durant’s camp wants the Spurs that would mean Kevin Durant wants the Spurs but it’s not always the case right you see you’ll see reports and stuff in pretty much all sports where like a team’s you know camp is like “Hey we really think what’s best for you is to go here but that player ultimately ends up going to you know team B because they that’s where they really want to go right you hear stuff all the time about those kinds of things like hey you should stay here or you should go here this is what we think.” And then the player ultimately makes the decision at the end of the day because at the end of the day it’s what what does Kevin Durant want right if every if everyone advising him is like go to the Spurs go to the Spurs go to the Spurs but he’s like I really want to go to Houston and guess what he’s going to Houston right because again he has that power in say but to me I think if Kevin Durant really does want you know the the Spurs then I do think that there is uh if Kevin Durant kind of pushes for what he needs to push for then I do think that there is a version of this where they really don’t have to give up ton again like what is the the return gonna cost you’re not like I said you’re not trading the number two pick you’re not trading Stfan Castle obviously the Suns they’re going to ask for that as they should but you’re not tra if you’re the Spurs you laugh that off and go “Ha I like the joke try again.” Right so if you’re but if you’re the Spurs you know you’re probably doing something like you know a Harrison Barnes you know if they wanted like a Jeremy Sohan I I I don’t think that that would be like like if you did like Harrison Barnes Jeremy Sohan and you know a Devin Vel or something like that with uh you know the 14th pick i don’t think that that would be that big of a deal right i think you’d be fine in that regard right now you got Kevin Durant you know Stefan Castle D’arren Fox Victor Wimyama right you can round out your depth you you I I just I don’t hate that if they wanted like a Kell Johnson fine like I think if you’re not trading the number two pick and a uh you know Stefon Castle I think outside of that you’re great i think outside of that you’re fine as long as you’re not trading one of those two things for Kevin R now if you’re talking Giannis something like that that’s very different right obviously if you’re trading you know you could sell the farm for Giannis and it’d be justified i know a lot of Spurs fans and stuff don’t want them to sell the farm for Giannis but Giannis is one of those players that if you were I’m not saying that they should or that they will but I’m saying if you were to sell the farm Giannis is one of those players that makes sense for Kevin Durant at this stage of his career and at his age just does it kevin Durant is still an incredible talent don’t get me wrong I would love to see Kevin Durant team up with you know a Victor Wimyama De’aran Fox right i think that those three would be terrifying i’ve talked on several occasions about how I think Kevin Durant you can argue makes more sense than Giannis does because of just the better natural fit right one of the things with Giannis is like what’s the pecking order how does that fit giannis is the best player so is Giannis going to take a back a back seat okay well Vic Victor Womenyama it’s his team so is is Wimi taking a back seat okay well De’Arren Fox is the guy that has the ball in his hands all game right cuz he’s the point guard so is now the point guard going to be the third option so De’Arren Fox is going to go from the number one option and the franchise guy in Sacramento to being the third option in San Antonio right like and he’s the point guard with the ball in his hands how does that work right where Kevin Durant I don’t think you have any of those questions kevin Durant is one of the best offball players in all of basketball he’s a guy that you know is probably the best plugandplay guy in all of basketball and does and is one of the most efficient players in all of basketball so he doesn’t need you don’t have to give him you know 25 shots for him to get 25 30 points i mean you look at even last year right last year um he played in 62 games 36.5 minutes per game right 18.1 field goal attempts per game 52.7% 43% from three-point range on six attempts right 47 uh or sorry 57.4% on 12.1 attempts from two-point range efg of 60% um also shot 84% from the foul line uh gave you six rebounds four assists a steal uh one and a half blocks and 27 points per game so still one of the most efficient players in all of basketball you pair him with Victor Wimyama who Victor Womenyama wants to be more Kevin Durant well who better to learn from than oh yeah Kevin Durant right like it just it to me it’s a no-brainer regardless i think it makes a ton of sense for Kevin Durant because Kevin Durant doesn’t have to do everything on the San Antonio Spurs like he does on the Phoenix Suns to have a chance to win not even win just have a chance to win right so I just think that this would be the most beneficial scenario for all parties involved all sides i just to me it boils down to what is what does it cost and what would it take in order to acquire him you know if you have to sell the farm to get him you tell them you know hey good luck to you you know hope hope you hope you find a suitor but there were reports that even came out uh the other day that said that they’ve lowered the price on him right because they probably realize like yeah teams aren’t going to sell the farm for you know Kevin Durant i love Kevin Durant but again he’s just he’s not 26 anymore right he’s he’s you know he’s not a guy that you know you you can have for another 10 years no he’s 36 he’ll be 37 in September right so going into next season you’re talking about a guy that’s 37 years old i just think if you’re the Spurs make the play if you can but it’s got to be at the right price anyway as always this is a discussion past question on you let me know your thoughts and opinions down in the comments below what 1. I don’t understand adding Sochan at all in this trade stop mentioning him lol

    For Giannis yes but Durant….
You just be a Keldon Johnson fan cuz he’s the first to go off this team

  2. Fox appears to me to be a humble player who is willing to be the 3rd option if it means rings. That is why he wanted to come here. He'll be an all-star again playing with Wemby IF ALL ARE HEALTHY.

  3. A player’s camp usually just looks at the basketball situation. The player has to factor in family, wife, what city they want to live in endorsements, and the money they get.

The camp doesn’t really get affected by any of those issues, so they don’t factor it in

  4. The Spurs has so many options and picks to get KD. As long they don’t give up the main core and the 2nd pick, everything should be good.

  5. And i saw a fan said he dont want to give up the 14th pick for KD T.T bruh im crying lol, what are the odds we draft like a good role player for champ ? definitely lower than we draft a guy that prolly gonna get traded as trading piece lol

  6. Trade for D Sabonis; then sign Middleton to add shooter. Wemby-Sabonis, twin tower tandem a tough one.

  7. We not giving up sochan bro, he’s the second best defender on the team. Sochan is gonna start for the spurs

  8. Spurs over the cap at second appron. OKC will still be best team in West. So waste of assets. He's a better fit with knicks on the east coast.

  9. Let's be honest, there's no prospect player at 14 that can give you what KD can give you in 2 or 3 years even tho he's getting older. Draft Harper at 2. Trade the 14th pick for KD and whatever player Phoenix wants ( no wemby ,castle or fox) and let's start this fricking dynasty already!!

  10. I haven't heard one person bring up Durant was Wemby's favorite player growing up…..he's coming to the Spurs! Unless we get a crazy deal somewhere else.

  11. With Giannis the bucks would want Castle, #2 pick, #14 pick, Vassell, 3 first round future picks and possible a few second round picks. Thats way too much. That’s basically gutting the entire team. With KD because of his age you’re only giving up Barnes, Vassell, #14 pick and possible one second round picks. Come on people use y’all heads.

  12. I have huge doubt if that rumor package of #14+ Barnes + Vassel can move Suns, this is way too low and not exactly what Suns targeting, and yet many other teams can offer better.
Suns might take Vassel, but for sure they need good Defensive player so we might also lose Sochan & I assume #14 + 1 future first rounder/swap + 2 second rounder is what they want (or 2 extra first rounder+1 second rounder). The main reason is Vassel is 27M, HB is 19M, Suns can't save much money to let them go down below Apron 2, they have to move down their salary for trade flexibility so Sochan's 5M with his defence is much more fit in the package than HB.
I guess if we're really getting KD, the package is more likely to be Vassel + Sochan + #14 + 1future first round + 2 second round ( total of 2 players+ 2 first round picks + 2 secound round picks, a 6 for 1 trade). This is still much cheaper than trying Giannis. Giannis will only be cheaper after 2 years when they're still losing, Giannis has over his peak and both Bucks and him wants a rebuild then he can be cheaper. But that's a good time line as KD by then would have his contract expired (he has 1+1PO left).

  13. By the way, don't forget that SUNS has the alien medical technology team that can resurrect Grant Hill, Amare, Shaq, all of these guys leaving SUNS became glass again. So with KD's playing record in BKN was 8-3x-5x games, we have to get our mind ready for him playing with this amount of games unless he plays only 25mins per game like CP3 with us which doesn't likely happen.

  14. Spurs front line don’t weight 300 pounds with Durant wembly down low who going to rebound all are 3 point specialists good luck
