The Suns have no leverage in a Kevin Durant trade
i think the fact that everybody who cares about basketball seriously has known Kevin Durant is going to be traded for four straight months is coming back to bite the Suns they tried to trade him at the deadline didn’t go well and from that moment everybody’s like he’s going to get traded into the offseason so all the other teams in the NBA are being smart somebody’s going to get a good deal like they’re not going to have to give up everything for Kevin Durant like he wants to go to the Spurs so why would they offer the second pick especially if nobody’s going to be able to beat that it’s not like the Mavs are going to offer up the first pick maybe you can get number 14 maybe you can get one of our prospects but we’re basically just matching salary and tossing you a bone or something like that like Minnesota there’s a deal to be done there if Phoenix wants to do it and if they’re okay with Kevin Durant not wanting to be there it just seems more realistic to me now that a Kawhi like situation would happen where the price gets so low that one team is like “All right what’s the risk here
