for him and it’s painful for me to watch too and the call will go against Benedict Catherine that is his first foul of the game and the Thunder with some changes comes in for Aaron Wiggins and it’s into the teeth of the defense points in the paint something coaches always love to see free throw no good for Williams pacers trail by four and Bryant kicks to McConnell pass to Choppin hallebertton scoring breakdown for Indiana making the most of their trips to the charity stripe that’s what they’ve done a good job of thus far in this one very comfortable at the line and that’s a good sign and shot was well contested but Siaku’s just too tricky for it and puts his skills to work and able to get to the basket outside Williams six to shoot jordan with a screen for Williams and again Oklahoma City no good at the elbow it’s Seakum hallebertton against Dort back to Hallebertton the three-pointer is right on target hallebertton’s got the lead up to four now for the Pacers outside Gilg Alexander [Applause] and it’s good with time running down on the shot clock gilg Alexander’s got his second basket and good work inside sda will make more room for himself on the perimeter when he can be effective down low out of bounds Oklahoma City takes possession these players can flat out shoot the rock the 2K leaderboard shows us the top three-point shooters in the playoffs well you look at Nesmith one of the best shooters in the NBA top five in the league at this moment he is having so much success from beyond the three-point line some guys just thrive on this kind of pressure tj McConnell he’s checked in for Hallebertton wiggins has checked in for Oklahoma City pass to Dort higgins outside off target from outside and they haven’t been able to turn it into a big lead but their rebounding advantage is starting to add up yeah still close but with their tough play on the boards we’re certainly seeing the effort and here is Zako covered by Wiggins here’s Nesmith and the Pacers another three and they’re getting their points now almost exclusively from the triple four of their last five mates are from beyond the other it’s hard for me to watch this i mean the defense practically giving them those shots outside Gilas Alexander [Applause] a strong finish under heavy pressure all over gilis Alexander’s got seven points and boy has he picked it up since the start of the second his shots now starting to fall outside Turner pass to Seakkum three-pointer it’s rebounded by Oklahoma City and one thing I liked in the first quarter was their aggressiveness to draw the contact putting the defense on the defensive yeah exactly and I think they need to continue to press that advantage they’ve got to get back to that don’t go away from that it’s been working so well for him stay with it off on the layup you know it hasn’t been his best outing but they still find themselves in the driver’s seat here wiggins kicks to Gilis Alexander back to Wiggins oklahoma City moving it around wiggins sets a screen for Tort that one’s all good now he’s three for five from the field and it’s McConnell with the ball he’ll bring it up for the Indiana Pacers seakum outside and way onto the team into the rotation and then turns into a key contributor and they now lead as the free throw drops for him and so it’s Indiana with it outside Turner here’s Nemo no good with the triple you know what though sometimes you can be too open think it may have surprised him and that’s why he missed here’s Siaka and a lot of contact on that one so he’ll shoot two here that one on Williams and the insane athleticism of Seakum excels at probing inside and making the D get aggressive and this is his second trip to the line in the game shooting two that free throw no good and the second free throw good oklahoma City shooting here about 46% for the game and when it comes to physical play it’s hard to get the best of Dort he invites contact at both ends these are his third and fourth free throw attempts of the game [Applause] free throw good torch and didn’t have a single free throw in that first quarter but he started to play with a little bit more of an edge to his game here in the second and Indiana making a change here toppins checked in [Applause] and he can’t hit the second indiana’s gone seven to 15 from three-point range tonight they’re not afraid of that shot bounce pass Nehard dump that one from Choppin toppins got his second bucket of the night how many times have we seen a possession take that from them today ending with a basket coming off a pass well when you look at the assist total heck they can clearly the better team mcconnell against Homegrren pass to launches it that shot missing and that’ll do it for the first half a competitive game so far operating in that medium range area and no good had a chance to take the lead there and they had some boxed coverage that turned into no coverage knee Smith the pass to Seakum count it and he’ll have a chance for a threepoint play one on Homer and give Seakum the hoop and the horn on that one and since being drafted back in 2016 he’s really improved that upper body strip that’s the effort this game they’ve shot the ball extremely well from downtown their shooters are getting open and letting it fly they took what the defense gave them tonight and that was the mid-range i mean very consistent from that part of the floor i tell you one of the things I’ve noticed about Hallebertton is his endurance man it is off the charts he’s always pushing the pace and really outworking other Hallebertton is his endurance man it is off the charts he’s always pushing the pace and really outworking other guys most of the time he’s constantly revving up the motor and taking things up a notch coming out of the break there’s the lob to the hoop it’s stolen by Horton Shine and now Williams running the floor all by himself and that’s the kind of play you just do not want to give up defensively you lose the possession and give up a quick two at the other end here’s Seakkum seakum seakum on the a tough first half but it’s been a different story here since the break williams against Matie the shot by Williams no good and Nathan has got the ball here for the Bas and he converts the layup and now it’s just a four-point Oklahoma City lead and not relying at all on the three-point shot uh they may want to rethink about stretching the defense a bit like they did in that first half hit the foot down great positioning on the football hartinstein’s got six points it’s obvious they’ve taken fewer threes here in the second half and are focused on having a more balanced offensive attack connects from three-point range this is someone that can really hurt you from long
