yeah heat yeah what is up world we are back we are live um as you can see we got the homie here today you ain’t been on it when when was when was the last time you was here when the uh Lakers uh series dang was that Dang hey yeah huh so yeah well anyway Joe tell the people how you been i’ve been good man i’ve been real good um I’ve been enjoying the playoffs um I’ve been you know working a little bit working on my body whatnot you know you know I got to hold it as the only hoops and bruise athlete i gota you got to uphold that you feel me you know I got to uphold that so yeah I’ve been doing good though man just getting summer started um and you know watching the playoffs um since you haven’t had a chance to talk about the playoffs uh before we even like really get into the finals uh what you think about the playoffs man like what you think about the basketball you’ve been seeing and just uh you know I feel like this is kind of like it’s it’s it’s we’re we’re fully into a new era now right like you just look at you know you got you know Shay the MVP um none of the older guys even got anywhere near close to making it um conference finals every team you had you had what three teams who had never won before and one team who hadn’t won since Nixon was in office I think um so yeah just what do you think about which the uh the uh basketball you’ve seen and um things of that nature uh I really like the basketball I’m seeing i think it’s been really good for the NBA in general especially a team like you know the Pacers uh being able to do what they’ve done you know a team that nobody really honestly projected to get this far i think it’s good for the NBA moving forward and I think it’s just a way of um you know starting a new era like um with the way basketball is pretty much uh works now basically you going to need a whole team it’s not just one guy it’s going to be nothing for you you going to need a whole team you going need you going to need good coaching with the way defensive schemes and whatnot works nowadays you need a whole team to uh contribute and be able to uh push for in the playoffs it’s not just going to be like you know back in days you have you know necessarily maybe a Jordan or something like that where like say somebody might have carried somebody to the finals i don’t think that’s that that’s really going to be like such a thing moving forward i think that um it’s been really good basketball all around and the finals kind of uh kind of reminds me I don’t know in a weird way but just you know high school basketball a little bit just the intensity picking up full court and then you know and you know the somewhat too relatively I mean the Thunder are like the youngest team in the league and I know yeah I think the Thunder are the youngest team since the 70s Blazers to make the NBA finals and the Pacers aren’t agent but they’re relatively young team as well too there’s like you know between like if take out Caruso and what Siakum there’s not too many guys who have you know been at this uh well really I don’t think at all been like at this level you know and won something so I just think that um basketball it’s it’s nice to finally see it going a different direction like I said we have what seven last seven different championships in a row different people uh event to the championship i just think that you know we’ve been surprised a couple times obviously nobody expected Miami um and Amber to make it that year um I think that’s kind of similar to this year but I third you kind of expected Denver that year but you definitely didn’t think Miami being a playin team would have uh would have made a deal but even Miami like that like that I mean that’s not I don’t think that’s even was I think from the standpoint of them being an eighth seed was shocking but from a standpoint of having Jimmy Butler you know you had established veterans and like Miami did it in Miami did it in um 2020 in the um bubble so I think that like what the Pacers have done I think has been literally um basically unprecedented like I don’t think a human and then with the way that they were that that they’ve been winning games for the most part all playoffs just giving us some of the best um games that we’ve probably seen in a minute uh just the um just all of the uh comebacks that they’ve had uh you know Harley I think is what six for seven on go ahead buckets and like the some something like that something crazy um so yeah man i Yeah yeah and it’s and it’s the fact that they’re playing fast too they used to say fast teams can’t win championships or can’t even like you know advance so you know for him to them to be able to do that I just speak volumes to them and how deep they are and how good the coaching is uh even though it looks like right now you know they kind of are stuck in a a rock in a hard place but I mean if they somehow figure out their way out of this I wouldn’t be surprised i’m I’m not going to count them out again i didn’t I didn’t I didn’t expect them to lose this series but they’ve got they’ve had it 10 times more competitive than I thought they would so I wouldn’t want to count last thing I would do is count them especially going back home with the Indiana crowd as good as they’ve been arguably the best home court advantage throughout the playoffs arguably you could say that so I think that they’ll figure out a way to uh dig out game six and extend it to seven um I’m guess we can talk about it you went into it i disagree with you i think this ends uh Thursday night um I think that the Thunder have really found something you know I think that they were I think um after game two game three they did a really good job on Shay like they putting them hard um on Shay and but but what I think King so much in on Shay I think allows Jaylen Williams to find his rhythm um cuz games from game three on Jaylen William I mean Shay didn’t been right here but Jaylen been right there with him um and I think that they really found something um I also appreciate the fact that they went back to their starting lineup yeah that was uh I didn’t like that at all yeah at all one thing that I was like yo if you the team that won 64 games why are you adjusting to them like they Yeah I didn’t like that at all like you making an adjustment before you even played a snap before you even played a snap and you the team that won 64 games like you had the you know you had the um historic season that was all you so I didn’t like that i I I appreciate the fact that Dagenol went back to uh you know his normal things um also I think that he had to figure out uh just the rotations because even I think at the end of game three what I saw was Shay was just dead tired like it looked like like some of the guys on the Thunder were just dead tired especially because of the fact Indiana they just have so many guys and they keep coming and coming and coming and if Shay plays 40 minutes Shay’s 40 minutes isn’t like Tyrese Hallebert’s 40 minutes right like Shay a bunch of stuff he gets like a lot of the shots Shay and Jaylen make aren’t really good shots like they’re tough contested shots as far as like with I’m now granted they can hit those Jayen Jaylen gets it all over get to the cup yeah yeah jayen Jayen Jayen put his head down position all over the place but Shay gets a bunch of tough shots like tough shots is he’s a tough shot maker that’s what he does um so his 40 minutes are going to be different than Hallebertton’s 40 minutes like Hallebertton ain’t going to be pounding the ball too much he going to get off it swing it around so I think what you saw was I just felt like a lot of you guys were tired so I appreciate the way that he um got his substitution pattern together and uh I think he and I think as I think as as a coach he finally arrived to the series i mean cuz Rick Carlile I mean we spoke about it in person but Rick Carl has been doing one hell of a job in my personal opinion yeah yes once again once again bringing a team that no one just like what he did with the Mavericks in 2011 when they went all the way and they beat all those teams they weren’t supposed to beat and then same similar situation here without the big names yeah and and and I think that um when when you go back and you look at that series I think people like to talk about what LeBron didn’t do and like to talk about what Dirk did and I think Rick Carle and the coaching job that he did gets overlooked right like I think people think about oh JJ Barrett guarded LeBron this become like a running joke but like no those would but you had kid you had kid on him you had Shawn Mariam on him at um some points then you had Tyson helping from the back so like you know you had I think that his coaching job gets overlooked for that series and we just kind of look at what like I said what Braun and the Heat didn’t do or the incredible um thing that uh the the the um the run that Dirk had and I don’t think we really look at Rick call out uh but yeah I I I disagree with you i don’t think we seeing seven games um I don’t think OKC should want to see seven games just because in the game seven anything can happen and the Pacers have a bunch of random guys like it looked like TJ McConnell was about to go legend in game in in in in game five i think he should have played more than 22 minutes and I don’t think you get that bad of a game nimbar was terrible down the stretch and that’s not really like him ever since he had the you know the magnificent you know the little 20 and move on Shay he’s kind of been kind of iffy but if you look at what he did I don’t think Nimbar is going to play that bad a game especially at home I think he do for a much better game hallebertton got what two days to rest his uh what is it his calf right or his train was it yeah so he had two days to rest his train hopefully that’s that that gives him enough time but I just think that I mean especially and hopefully this time if maybe Helurn isn’t ready you do ride out McConnell these guys they do have guys who can uh you know step up in and play so then because if you don’t get what you got from McConnell last game they lose about 30 he lose about 40 but I think you have guys that uh you can you can go to Ben Mcruin didn’t play well at all that he went two like he’s going back to back pretty much bad games honestly he went two for 11 he didn’t really show up i think that at home a lot of these guys will they play a lot better and I I feel like you still kind of waiting to really see a Miles Turner offensively this series he’s supposed to be a stretch big he hasn’t been hitting threes i mean so that at some point I don’t think I don’t think he’ll have six bad games in a row of him shooting what below 30 final but it’s not good yeah it’s bad yeah it’s bad i don’t think that I don’t think that continues i think we get another big game from Siaka at home and I just think that the the momentum and with with Carl and with the pride that these guys play with back home in Indiana I think that they’ll be able to uh you know slightly you know edge another one out versus uh OKC i expect it to be another competitive game like this this finance has been uh really good for me um I really enjoy it i like how both teams do the um they pick up full court i think that that that’s just that’s that’s great basketball not only does it tire them down but if you pay attention most of the time um once they when they full court pressing most of the time they if you pay attention to the the shot clock they get up and it’s like 16 seconds left 16 17 like you know they barely getting up there so instead of getting a full you know 24 full 20 22 seconds to touch your offense up now you’re looking at 15 14 seconds to to get a good look so now you running around uh a little um discombobulated because you don’t have as much time as you normally do and then the ball pressure is consistent i think that’s been fire i love I love the consistent ball pressure so OKC had Indie OKC had Indy’s offense in hell most of that game yeah OKC that’s one thing OKC definitely proved why they had the number one defense throughout the entire year number one deflector number one in charge and they prove that consistently you got guys just out there bullying people you know that that guy’s like a tank jordan Caruso Shay was outstanding shay had I think four blocks three blocks last game he did he did he did ch I think C has been outstand I mean offensively he’s been shaky which is kind of understandable he’s he’s a twig kind sometimes just like you know it’s hard for him to really you know get some going when you’re smaller when you what 50 60 pounds less than your matchup but defensively I think he does a great job using his length contesting meeting people at the rim he’s he’s also been a really good rebounder this plays this final I think he’s getting at least 10 11 12 plus boards a game he’s been big for him they have the fact that they’ve been able to reinstate their defense in this series i think another stat is also the cases are I think um in the playoffs they’re like 10 and0 or 12 and0 when they score 110 points they haven’t been there yeah they haven’t been hitting that um OKC them getting back to you know the homemade cookie and what got them that 68 wins that defense showing up i think that’s been huge but I feel I don’t I’m still just not ready to count out the faces i think they have some counters for what the OK has been doing hopefully Nimbard has got to be able to relieve Hallebertton especially if his uh calf is is still bothering him but I have faith in him and these guys to you know show up a little more and support uh and you know get something going but OKC been able to reestablish their defense um back to what it was in the regular season i think that’s been that’s been huge for them again like I said I don’t I think this one ends on Thursday night um like I said I just think that they’ve just figured out something um yeah I just again like their defense is back to what it was in the um season and offensively I just think Shay and Shay and um Jaylen Williams like like that Jaylen Williams game yesterday bro great bro like it was all over the place yeah like it just seemed like at some point in time midway through I think game three Jaylen Williams just realized yo they can’t stay in front of me put my head down and just get to the basket and also it seemed like m in game four they realized how to get Shay better looks and get Shay to his spots i think they realize you we got to get Nim hard the hell off him n Smith come your ass over here and also yeah he let his nimar match up and just getting the ball in better spots cuz I saw too much in game three where it’s like he got the ball way on the perimeter i mean like at the three-point line with like seven seconds left and that’s not really what Shay does like you like he’s not dame you know he’s not going to go out there and take 26footers 28 footers like that’s not what he wants to do um so you got to get him closer to his spots and I think that they’ve done a a much much better job of that um since basically I want to say like midway through game four and again I think Jaylen Williams been great i think Harkinstein has um had moments i I’ve been thoroughly I’ve been thoroughly um proud of Chad number one just even remember when he sprained his ankle in game four yeah toughing it out and they needed they needed every single one of those minutes from him um he’s been he’s been making me proud i’ve been I’ve uh Carson Wallace Kase Wallace finally arrived he was terrible until game five but he finally arrived and he finally hit some shots caruso has been great all series i mean Caruso’s even had what a few 20 point games if I’m not mistaken yeah with no 20 point games at all during the regular season yeah yeah yeah so again guys have just been stepping up and Yeah like I again I think that this one ends on Thursday and I think again it has to get it hallebertton’s calf is a real issue to me uh just because number one anytime you talking about a calf issue you don’t want to become a rupture um you don’t want to you know what I mean and you’ve seen a few of those injuries this year obviously Tatum tore his uh game to his so any anytime you by your calf you are talking about the you know the Yeah so you got to be careful with that um so I just don’t see how that heals in three four in in two three days bro like I just don’t see how that heals uh so I have little faith um in Indie to win game six and again like I said you don’t want to go to game seven with a team like Indie they just have too many random guys like Benedict Matin might [ __ ] around and have 25 points off the bench and you lose tj McConnell might do TJ McConn five and five yeah he was crazy yeah he was exceptional i don’t think they should have went away from him they should have left they should have just let him play the whole four they should have yeah facts yeah I would have went with him but again they have [ __ ] OB topping might come out there in game seven and hit five threes and you lose obin has also been exceptional he’s been great i think I think he’s put himself I think he’s similar like in that in that some of sort of Nas Reed tier I feel like now is where he kind of put himself in that in that tier players i feel like he’s been better than definitely better than what I thought for sure but I just like his ability to especially um he seemed like he’s finally found a home you know obviously New York that didn’t work out too well for him but the fast pace and the the beating off of Hallebert and getting up and down knocking out open threes and even a little bit of mid-range little pick and pop game there i’ve been enjoying watching over top contribute to this pat yeah so again this is this is all reasons why I think again it ends Thursday and like I said if it don’t end Thursday you don’t you really don’t want to see this team at seven just because of all the guys the the plethora of guys that they have um you know that can step up and make something random happen so uh yeah but I guess we can move on from I guess we can move on from that uh I don’t really unless you have more to say about the finals currently um I don’t think so i don’t think so i guess we we can probably move on moving on desmond first of all I didn’t even know you could trade people during the NBA finals that kind of irritated me did you Did you see they made another trade as well the the Pacers made a trade yeah i didn’t know you could do I didn’t even know you could do this in the NBA finals up during this time especially the Pacers J you think he’d be like you know I’m chilling you know in the box game or something what man I saw that i’m like yo you I’m not a fan of this i don’t think it should happen maybe my memory is bad but I don’t ever recall this happen i don’t I No no you right i never remember I never remember somebody being traded midfinals or or or or like a trade or people teams actively opening up the trade market for a play usually that happens around the draft now granted the draft is next week it is which seems fast right or no well okay yes it seems fast because usually the finals are over sooner okay like this finals has been a very spaced out NBA finals they could give him two days of rest and whatnot don’t need to we have we had no father’s day basketball because he want two days rest that was kind of crazy that was nuts um but Desmond Bane was traded if let me get the actual details of the trade um let me look real quick um I know it was for KCP it was it was KCP it was uh Cole Anthony four unprotected first round picks and then there was a pick swap mhm four first round picks for Des Bane is [ __ ] nuts in this economy i don’t think I don’t think it is no I think it’s nuts and I think it’s nuts and I think Desmond Bane’s trade could have messed up the trading market for everybody i mean we already this is not the first time we’ve seen this i know you’ve seen the Mikuel Bridges trade i mean I can rationalize that more than I can rationalize Deon Bane is arguably a better basketball player than Muel Bridges i no I cannot rationalize this male is at least would you would you agree he’s a all defensive level player he has the he has the like the the archetype for you know the long arms and Phoenix in Phoenix yeah but that was three years ago it was three years ago but this is the guy but no it was but this is the guy that we we got to remember it was last year he’s averaged 25 before you know like he like I can accept that four I and I think four was too much for him but I can accept why four four four unprotected picks a swap and two quality players for Desmond Bane me the only red flag to me is the fact that one of those unprotected picks was Phoenix in first round next year and I think that’s kind of insane because we don’t know what the hell Phoenix is going to look like next year they stuck with Bradley Bill and he’s gonna be making he’s taking 50 million cap kd is probably going for not that great of a package and they don’t I think they just hired a first year coach uh they still going to be in Cap Hill they don’t have a first so they can’t they’re not going to be able to fix their holes in the draft they um Nick Bridges has been very underwhelming they still got Grayson Allen under who had was coming off a slump year under like at least I think 25 million years so it’s just like that’s the only picks don’t really picks especially in the magic position don’t do much for them you you feel like you have a core you can you want to maximize you kind of have to go after that as soon as you can and I like the Magic they one of the worst I think they were the worst three-point shooting team in the whole league last season one of the worst point seasons we’ve seen so you go out and you literally get one of the best three-point shooters over the last five years there’s not too many guys shooting the ball he has one of the highest catching super one and he does off the ball he does it on ball all around and he’s greedy I think him and Jaylen S would be a really good they both two greedy guards who can uh shoot distribute a little bit they can play on ball play ball i think that you really needed to uh you don’t want to risk wasting what you u what’s upcoming is Ben Carroll’s prime you don’t want to risk wasting that it also got him with France you want to get something that they haven’t really done a great job a lot of people are always frustrated with the match because they don’t make some at the deadline they don’t they usually don’t make trades they they usually they kind of stay put a little bit so for them to go out there and finally you know make some moves and let bank Carol know like yeah we are trying to put you in a position to contend in the East it I think it’s it’s a good move for the franchise and I’m not really worried about the picks i don’t think teams should stockpile and hold on to their picks if you’re like you know if you’re going opposite direction like you’re like Memphis perspective you maybe do want to just start the know the blow up thing remember when Harden the Rockets got rid of him they started stockpiling picks okc when they got rid of Paul George W they started stockpiling pick i don’t think that they’re in that type of mode right now now when you got a number one pick and you got France Wagner and you got the court that they have I think that you want to compete and you want to put your team in your number one pick in the best position to compete and you go out there and you grab a top 35 40 player in Desmond Bane who is a hand and glove fit for what your what your weaknesses are so I think that this has got to feel like Ben Curl and those guys should be really excited about this especially considering how underwent KCP was for them last year he had a chance to KCP was sort of I mean obviously he’s not Deon Bane i’m not saying it was totally supposed to you know replicate what Desane does for the triple G and that no it didn’t work out at all so I mean I I like this move for the uh Magic i think it puts them in somewhat at least a top four five seed um next season i mean I think I still think they need a little more shooting um I really do like I like their center situation between Goa uh Wendle Carter and Wagner but I think this puts them in you know more of a conversation up especially in the East i think this this really boost them up a little bit and I think that they should all be excited about this no I’m with you i just think listen I think they did the right thing by making the trade for for all the reasons that you said i think actually both teams did the right thing by um making this trade uh for all for for every reason you said they can’t shoot they’ve also been needing a guard forever like they’ve been needing like like a somebody with with some more dominance in their back court like that’s been the main thing like we’ve been trying to trade him a point guard for I don’t know how long we’ve been like every guard that comes up we like yo Orlando should look at him orlando should look at him orlando should look at him obviously Desmond Bay isn’t you know like a point guard but he can still take some ball handling responsibilities away from Paulo away from Fron um he can he can give you 20 points also how old is Desmond Bane desmond Bane is 26 years old so he basically so trajectory yeah like Yeah like age- wise he aligns also if you look at your I mean and then you got to look at the Eastern Conference right boston is gone to hell for next season boston may never return tatum you know snap this Tatum is hurt um it’s been rumors they might trade Derek White or Jaylen Brown um or Drew Holiday so Boston is they got to they got they don’t really have a choice yeah so Boston is you’ll take them off the table for next season the Bucks i’m taking him off table for next season for for winning a championship how he gonna win one without Tatum he gonna be going the whole year he tore his Achilles oh he tore his Achilles in May he got the surgery the next morning though and he and he younger listen unless they didn’t unless they done gave him the 2030 surgery they got the same Katie at and Katie was going a year katie was gonna like 18 months he Katie got his surgery like two days three days after post post hair either way and Tatum is younger brother either way he’s not playing basketball until April and if he like I can’t see a world in which he comes back and even when he comes back it’s going to take him some time to get it get it going i think you can take them off the table for a championship cool the Bucks I don’t know how Dame his is torn so I don’t know what the buzz gonna look like next season the Knicks don’t have a coach but we’ll see you know where that where that thing goes i think that they’ll still have um something to say but basically what I’m trying to And then we got the Pacers in the finals even if the Pacers win I don’t think that we look at the Pacers like oh that they’re they’re they’re going to be powerhouse team yeah like they’re gonna be Yeah dynasty in the conference and if I’m Orlando I look at what Indiana doing and say “Why can’t I be the next Like I mean he’s really wide open again and then also I thought the granted the Magic were the seven seed but I think but if they would have been healthy all season they would have probably been a top four top five seed i think that they’re a better team than a seven seed so I get why you make the deal i mean [ __ ] it’s I mean the conference wide open go for it like you you may be in a situation where next year you in the conference finals and there were and now they are a apron team and the thing about these title windows now especially when you have these guys is that like you may not have that long you know I don’t know if you gonna get you gonna keep guys together for eight nine years because you got to start paying some of those guys and things like that so I mean if you can bring Dez Bane in and you think that you know Apollo is a superstar which I think Paulo has superstar type um trajectory so if you think that and you got bas basically you might have three allstars on your team right now maybe so [ __ ] it hell yeah go get it done so So I don’t So I don’t I don’t mind a move i just think I when I woke up and saw four four four first round picks I laughed but like I get the thinking and then for the Grizzlies people like “Oh the Grizzlies trying to blow it all up.” I don’t think so you get out of u Desmond Bay’s contract also I like bringing in Coanthy i think that they’ve been missing a punch off the bench since they let Taius Jones go co Anthony is a guy who who I’ve always thought that in the right situation could be a guy that could be like a six-man of the year type of guy um just because he can come off the bench and just light it up he probably needed a fresh start anyway and KCP it didn’t work out there but he’s a two-time champion you know you and I think that maybe with KCP you could like get back some of what you lost when you let Dylan Brooks go um you know hopefully he can come in and be a mentor for the guys and yeah I I don’t I I don’t think that they have to break it all down um just because they let Desmond Bang go you got four and then you got four picks you can do what you want to with him you can trade with somebody else yeah i also feel um I feel like they Jaylen Wills made um Desane a little so his he had a all rookie year last season I’m pretty sure so that’s open it up a lot more for him and what Memphis has going so um it it really depends on um it seems like they’re going to hard i think Jiren Jackson do an extension soon also believe also do an extension soon i do you don’t you don’t think J deserves that extension you got to prove it to me um well well you got based on a game minimum right give him like what you got to give what 65 years next season make all them years no no no not even a game minimum just a performance yo just a um just a um maturity minimum oh m maturity minimum bro like he gotta Yes he gotta play basketball that’s very fair that’s very fair no bro you want me to give you 300 million you $300 million no no no that’s very fair prove it to me you got to prove it to me but but all in all I but all in all I I do think that it was a good deal for um for um both teams and without mention me laughing at the picks it was just funny that like Desmond Bang can go for basically five picks but again I get But I wonder how we arrive to the number of five yeah how did when they was talking about Yeah like how do we arrive to the number like who asked for that like did Memphis pick up the phone and be like “Yo no I need five bro i need five and players and KCP and players and two quality rotational players guys who are going to play at least 20 minutes a night just we y’all too like n no no no no like like no like bro what the like like I probably would have started the conversation with like two picks but like I don’t know how we got to five yeah that’s a lot of that’s a lot of five bro i don’t know how it gets there either that’s And then uh Magic must have been starving too for them to actually which I would like we just regard explain why they would be you know but like damn like they must have been starving and just be like “Okay you know all right.” You know I mean again I get it like they need a guard bro like they really need a guard and they think that I mean like look I mean if you look at their first five right their first five is what J also Jayen S’s got to stay on the court too because that’s the thing about Jaylen S he’s very important he’s very important to that team 100% he’s like their Derek White i think he’s like the version like if they what could be like Derek White for them um but Jaylen Suggs uh Desmond Bane France Vagner Paulo and I guess Wendell Carter would be your starting center that’s a formidable five man it is especially in the East like you said it is that is five they gonna need a little more shooting I feel like but besides yeah around them around those guys but I don’t know what they gonna trade to get it now but you know maybe I hope you in the gym France France I hope you in the gym Paulo Paulo I hope you in the gym but moving on to another trade that everybody’s been talking about i’m actually this this the KD turned into a journeyman was never um relax he don’t relax katie turned into a journeyman was not on my bingo card like relax but journeyman Kevin Durant obviously he’s not going back to Phoenix um he’s put in a list of destinations he said there’s no way he’s going to Minnesota i feel you i wouldn’t want to go to Minnesota either um I think he said his his list is Miami he San Antonio Spurs Houston Rockets um but the Suns also said we are going to get the best deal we don’t care we’re going to get the best deal um so we he has his list the Suns say we’re going to get the best deal so we’ll see uh but where would you like to see Kevin Durant go personally i know where I would like to see him go go personally out of his top three with the best I think you know had a glove fit in my opinion would be probably the Rockets you know you know you get rid of Richardson Spurs for me just because I feel like him and Wimby is too many damn jumpers you know they both you know at this point at this point in KD’s career you know he shoots a lot of jumpers you know Wimby shoots a lot of jumpers I don’t think I think I was going to say I might get a little redundant sometimes if he goes to the Spurs he’s going to ruin Wimy’s offensive career he’s gonna [ __ ] ruin his offensive career he’s never going to get a hook shot ever again i will watch it and they’ll be a really good basketball game oh yeah but he he’s going to ruin him he’s going to ruin him bro i think Fox will help you know Fox is gonna have to He’s going to get downhill a lot he’s gonna have a ton of space in with those guys and I think that’ll be really Do you think they trade for Fox if they knew that they was getting the uh the uh second pick in the draft probably not probably not especially considering that’s going to be more than likely Dylan Harper who’s a guard but I mean they they just have so much more like you know leverage now they have a guy you know they can you know they can get rid of that so they can get rid of hand oh don’t they have the 14th pick as well they have another Yeah yeah so like I mean now you just got kind of like assets galore i feel like they’d be better off just sitting on what they got and just seeing what it looked like you know instead of especially you know a guy who kind of operates in the same areas as WBY somewhat for the most part so it’s just like we really want this twice i like it that they all they either one they aren’t slid just on defense alone just off their height you know and length alone you know just off that but I mean I just think that with what they have I just kind of let’s just see what we got you know let’s see what Dylan Harper can do let’s see how he compliments let’s just let this play out you know naturally you know instead of like I feel like the Rockets are a little more needy for Kevin Durant type i feel like he fits you know obviously we saw in the playoffs and the in the reg season last year the games that they lost when when the game slows down you can’t just uh I mean Tom can’t just run around in transition you know your step people that that that don’t happen you know all game so you know you kind of need somebody an experienced guy i don’t think you really need to be a leader you just need to come in there and score the basketball in those drops that they have i think that that’s perfect you know already already have a he’s going to be surrounded by defenders you know guys who defend so that’s takes a lot off his back great coaching he’s going to be under Udoka uh they already established a winning coaches league so even if KD does let’s say miss his you know usual 20 25 30 games maybe they they know how to win without them they’ve already proven that I don’t think um you know missing out on a Jabari Smith or a Reed or maybe a Cam Whitmore is going to hurt them that much they still keep their core intact so I think that there it’s kind of like you know exactly what Katie brings to the table is exactly what Houston needs you still he also hold them to a sum and you got you know these guys i think that that’s the perfect you know location would you part with Jaylen Green if they really wanted him in a trade yeah I I would if they I mean I mean but I don’t I’m not sure we think they what I mean that’s a lot of guardness i’m trying to imagine trying to imagine a Jaylen Green and Deon Booker back court bro i think the Suns just want people G they just need something back bro he just needs something back um I um I don’t hate that but I mean for me personally I would like to see him in uh San Antonio um I think it’s a great place for him to go and leave a legacy one just you know just in like I say he’s going to ruin his offensive career but just having a guy like Wimby to be able to mentor I’m sure Wimby looks at himself foolishly enough like a Kevin Durant all them long young think they I know and also the thing about guys like Wimby is like we always assume that like look let’s look at the history of really big guys Ralph Samson didn’t last that long yaing didn’t last that long a lot of these big tall guys don’t last that long so people think like oh he’s at the start of his runby 10 years left bro he just had blood clots in his shoulder like and then we don’t know like with these big we don’t know we’ve never really seen a big long guy play 10 15 years it usually don’t happen like that think of like think about the super they said the man might be 77 now huh they saying he grew yeah yeah I mean I said the man might be set like we like we’ve never like we’ve never seen guys like this have extremely large long careers so like if you can get a Kevin Durant and you could put him on this team I think they could be if if Wimby is who we think he is they should be at least a contender next season am I wrong to say that n you’re not wrong at all for that like I think that they could legit be a contender or my second option is when I saw it on the list I was like you not low you just want to live in Miami but Miami but Miami wouldn’t be terrible like I I think I I think I put a If they can keep wear yes i I I think I put a trade together that was like Duncan Robinson um Terry Roier and like something else as some picks i mean yeah if you could do wear bam um and you can keep Tyler Hero too again going back to the Eastern Conference if you looking around you thinking like [ __ ] why not it’s wide open so I do actually like the um Miami thing um um as well but if I had to rank them I would probably go I would actually go Spurs Miami and then Houston and I’m only saying Miami just because like I think it’s an easier conference over East yeah especially if you can play that three you know you got coach over there you kind of got that you know the same they somewhat you know between Bamman uh Tyler those guys you know got a couple they they went to the finals once you know so just Yeah and still with the same coach or whatnot so and you know they always pull ro players up out the out the blue you know so I’m not mad at that even though Houston is still number one for me but I probably go San Antonio second Miami third fair all right now I’m not going to say I’ve been the most locked in i haven’t really locked in with the NBA draft mostly because I’m still watching actual basketball so I haven’t really been super locked in with NBA draft i don’t know if you are um if if if you’ve been like tapped in as far as like with prospects granted I pretty much know the big ones i know Dylan Harper i know Coopa Flag i know VJ Edgecom I think his name is and after that I’m pretty much lost but um I mean what you think about the draft man like what like what what do you um Yeah what do you what do you think who do you like is there anybody low-key that you know maybe people aren’t talking enough about that you think had a chance to be really really good and what do you think about just the quality of this draft class overall and I mean I guess we got to talk about it like how good do you think Dylan Harper Cooper Flag like how good do you think those guys are um I’m I’m some I haven’t followed it too much but you know I’m familiar with a couple guys um I guess I’ll start with I mean I think Cooper Flag is is the prospect that they say he is uh I believe you know Nico Harrison is you know consistently preaching about defense defense defense i saw when people say um he was considering I know obviously rumors were all over the place but I saw rumors you know saying he maybe trade the pick i don’t think that I think that’s completely off the table trading that damn pick consider how much he besides defense i think Cooper Flag is an excellent defender i think from day one he will be uh one hell of a defender le I think he can come in averaging at least a block a block and a half a game i think immediately he he’s long he’s athletic i think offensively he’ll be able to plug and play off those veterans out there i think that’ll be immediate impact i expect I have you know really high hopes for him i think he is the prospect everyone says he is i think Dylan Harper also think he’s he’s excellent i see um I don’t know have you heard about Ace Bailey they say he’s stock yes i’ve heard of Yes yes yes heard about Ace Bailey they say his stock is they say his stock is falling right because he’s not working out for everybody a little bit you know just sometimes you know off his mindset a little bit they he’s he basically like a well he’s like a 68 ball 69 ball handler who can like basically like a Paul George is what they call pretty much i mean oh god oh god oh god see this is why I hate draft season everybody who’s 69 and handle the ball is not Paul George pg and Kaw PG Kaw and Kevin Durant have gotten more people drafted and probably got more GMs fired than anybody patrick Williams was drafted because they said he was Kawhi Leard every muscular 68 person with a long wingspan is not Kawhi Leonard i feel that you’re getting people fired bro like bro like like like bro remember when John Wall and Derek Rose made us draft Dante Exom fifth overall i do remember that it was the era of big guard like you like you you had a guard uhhuh the long big long athletic guards and then I think if you could bro if I could go on NBA draft net right now and just look at hold up let I actually want to do it i want to read what his what is what his player comp was also I do like um you know the big center D i don’t really know how to pronounce it i think it’s Kamala he’s very raw at the moment but I think he can he has a a really high upside you know he works on his game he’s already you know the length the height that’s already there the ability to finish around the rim his touch is somewhat there but you know he tools up a little bit i think he can really be a force in the league one day i do like him he’s definitely roll definitely in a tournament they compare Dante Exom to Penny Hardway coming out of uh coming out of I guess you could say Australia because he didn’t go to college but yeah they be getting people dra fired um I like DJ though um I do like you that’s that’s athletic key right yeah yeah that’s dude who I if I’m not mistaken he played for the Bahamas for the um Bahamas cuz that’s when I first saw him was in the Olympics last year or like the qualifying when he was playing for the Bahamas and held his own against grown men held his own um if I’m looking at a mock draft right now he’s projected well they got to projected third to Philly um which do you think Philly should use a pick or do you think Philly should trade the pick um I think Philly should probably What a what a They are third i think they should probably I think they should use it i mean I’m with you i think I think they should use it especially I mean you go out there i think you taking the swing on Ace Bailey you know add him to what they they got especially you know do some vets and you know cut some of the older i think that’d be good for him i don’t see I mean only reason why I see they trading a pick is if they want to you know attach that pick to Paul if they really if they really this is only if they definitely want to get rid of the contract if they really want to get rid of Paul George I’d attach you know attach it to Paul George and maybe send that [ __ ] to uh send them both of them to Brooklyn or something you know if you really if you really want to that’s the only way that they trade if they really want to get off some contracts i think that’s a good bait for that that’s the only way anybody’s taking that contract is something like a third overall pick but if they want to you know I know Embiid’s health is up in up in the air for next year um you got some guys coming back quinn Grimes was exceptional last year you got you have talent but if they don’t want to buy that’s the problem again you have to I said I said you have to pay Quinton Grimes though that’s the problem quinton Grimes earned Quinton from the from the months of like February to April quinton Grimes earned himself some money he definitely did um you you know he’s 85 on 2K now like that’s just Yeah that’s nuts stop yeah but 2K just be slapping ratings on the thing that’s because that’s nuts stop but yeah Philly I just it depends on what which direction they want to go in um I feel like if they if they want to try to buy in and be contenders again next season depending on obviously Embiid’s health that’s what all everything depends on and that’s something that just like you know Zion Williamson you can’t really rely on it i mean sometimes I mean it’s only going to show you so many times how many you know before you just realize at some point it just ain’t going to happen but um I do like them holding on to the pick and grabbing a Bailey to you know put on with those vets and just see where it goes from there yeah I’m with you i mean I think that at I think Philly’s in the middle of a rebuild honestly to keep it G with you um I think that even if Embiid comes back I don’t know if we going to ever see the the the Embiid that we saw MVP year uh I would like to thank Embiid for sacrificing himself for uh the country at the Olympics he really shouldn’t have played um but yeah I don’t know if we’ll ever see the the um uh the um Embiid that we saw in the past and if you want to talk about bad contracts they got two of the worst contracts in the um NBA on they on their uh squad right now that’s why I’m saying like you that that number three pick is you know that’s attach it and you can get rid of them you get running on the contract but also I guess it depends on how much they value uh you know like do you think Ace Bailey is a star do you think you know some of these guys are franchise changing guys and if you do you may just hold on to the and just pick them and then figure it out later you going to have a bunch of guards but who cares figure it out later um a couple guys I do like in the I like Derek Queen out of Maryland he played at Yep y he played um at Mount Ver with uh Cooper Flag in high school you know one of the greatest arguably one of the greatest high school teams ever but even though he’s a little undersized I think he’s 69 and he got as a center but I think he can really he can really score the basketball when you know the opportunity is there he’s hard to stop one-on-one i think he has a quick twitch i like how he moves out there also like um obviously Walter Clay Jr i think he’s gonna be a late first um he improved his stock a lot but even like let’s say like a OKX can grab him late um you know to fill that you know backup point guard ro something like that but I feel like I do like him i think he’s explosive i think he’s clutch um so you know just a couple guys I I’ll be looking forward to seeing where they land this uh next week [ __ ] no it’s crazy um one last thing uh I think it was was it Shams or was it W it was everybody that has been saying expect a bunch of movement draft night actually that right like right right when the well clearly it’s going to be a bunch of movement people getting traded midfinals um but basically saying uh this going to be a very active trade season um at the draft after the draft say it won’t take long for a lot of these things to get figured out and guys to get traded gonna be a bunch of people on the moves um you really gonna be seeing the effects of uh the apron um are there any unexpected moves that you think could happen this off seasonason and if there are some what do you think they are um the moves I have is I don’t really have too much that’s unexpected but you know the expected you know I’m I expect Giannis to be moved i expect Boston to move i don’t think Giannis is going nowhere bro you don’t think Giannis is going nowhere i don’t think Giannis is going nowhere number one I think number one I think it’s something to be number one the problem with trading Giannis is you have to reconstruct your whole team around Giannis like Giannis ain’t just like a plugandplay type of guy like you got to reconstruct your whole team around Giannis um I don’t know how the Bucks can get better i think that they’re in a very precarious situation but I don’t know if he he because and also the market bro like what do you have to trade to get Giannis like we like if Desmond Bane is getting five first round picks what the [ __ ] are you you got to trade me a city i mean but look I mean you talk about the Desmond Bane trade but we saw Luka get I know obviously we saw L get traded for one pick i mean so I mean I know I think D is in the trade too but I mean that just shows it’s possible that you know that these guys can be moved i mean it’s not like you look at the drum it’s not as impossible as you know it may seem because I mean it’s already it’s already happened like a lot of guys are saying look got trait anything is possible so I mean I wouldn’t put it past them at all to uh you know especially considering pretty much Milwaukee has pretty much peaked they tried the dame experiment and it didn’t work I’ll give you credit on that you were cautious about it when they first added Dame you know considering you know lack of defense and you know pretty much and how him and Yiannis is not really you know clicking on the court together just off simple stuff like you know Jan like to bring the ball of course well I’m literally I want to bring the ball to court you know just just you know naggy things chemistry things like that that didn’t click So I mean I don’t think you know I think that that experiment is pretty much done so I mean I just think that I know he hasn’t verbally um requested a trade yet um that hasn’t been announced but I just think that it’s run his course i think he had a great run in Milwaukee uh exceeded expectations uh you know brought him a championship multiple defensive play of the year multiple MVPs he’s been exceptional but I just think it’s run his course and I think it’s you know he’ll it’ll be better off for him and the city just found a sooner and you know charge tax whatever you want to tax but somebody will uh will pay up I believe for you know to get his services there without a doubt um one move I would love to see Drew Holiday to the Clippers um I think you got to take care obviously you’ll probably resign Harden um but I think you could I I think I was playing 2K i think you can maybe get it done Yeah i think you can maybe get it done for Brogden and like Derek Jones and like give me Drew Holidayiday so what you running Drew Kawhai Harden out there yeah Drew well well well Drew Drew Harden Norm Kawhai and Zubac consider I know I know the Clippers don’t care about money you know Bomber so that makes that makes sense i mean I mean with the Clippers bro you kind of stuck with like you kind of stuck where you are like you stuck in this position really until 2027 that’s when Kawhai’s deal is up um so you may as well I mean [ __ ] just keep trying to add bro you still got Zubac on a really really good deal i think Zubac is four years 84 it’s he he outplays his contract better deal in the league yeah it’s a Yes it’s probably it might be the best deal in the league right now i’m not mad at it um so yeah I that I mean I think that that’s one big one that I would love to see i would I would love to see Drew Holiday becoming a Los Angeles Clipper uh I want somebody to go save I don’t know what Marcus Smart has left but I would want somebody to go save Marcus Smart go save Malcolm Brogden what happens with Chris Middleton um where does where does where Yeah where does he end up i think Washington has a bunch of pieces that they’ll probably end up trading just because like I I like Washington’s foundation actually um I think that you know having uh uh how you pronounce his name Puno Kunabali Okay did you see those Jordan Pool the Minnesota rumors i kind of like that i do like that i think that was their biggest flaw in the conference founders but like was nobody to relieve Anthony Edwards you know when they sent those doubles traps you know they bliss them and they send them every damn coverage in the book he’s Mike Connley is not at a position in his career where he could you know take the ball and you know really you know put some points on the board do something with it so I kind of left him asked out and you know the media runs with the Anthony Edwards show up like it’s that when in reality Anthony Edward does need to work on a mid-range shot i think that’s all also limited him too well too many threes or dunks i don’t think that that’s necessarily the recipe you know obviously you see it with Shay he’s a massive amount at the mid-range and that’s got him all the success in the world between 30 averaging 30 in route to arguably finals MVP MVP first team all of the above but I think that um they really desperately need somebody who can take pressure off of Anthony Edwards winning team do want to uh you know show him every coverage in the world I think Jordan is like you know perfect for that but dare I say I think you have two of them on your team right now I don’t know now I don’t know if they ready but Rob Dillingham and you got Terren Shannon Yeah that’s the thing you don’t know exactly you don’t know we know we know Pool is ready [ __ ] that’s fair that’s fair that’s fair that’s fair that’s real but no that that that that will be a dope deal that I wouldn’t mind um seeing but uh I think we can leave it there for today uh um you want to link back up after well again I think we gonna we going we going to be um I I think the last game that we gonna have some actual basketball is going to be on Thursday you think you think it’s going to game seven i think so i disagree with you but we I disagree with you but we will see we will we will be back on Thursday to recap everything um and see if we go into a game seven on Sunday or see if the season is over uh Thursday after the game or what’s up um maybe uh it depends maybe we’ll we’ll figure it out um who’s the MVP currently as it stands oh I feel like it’s Shay but it’s not uh Jaylen Williams women isn’t that far behind him but I’m still going with Shay i know Shay performance last game was really slept under the rug because of Jay Williams ball but Shay had 30 points 10 assists uh four three or four blocks I think a couple steals as well he was all over the place and he just did what he does i think that Shay still got it i say I say like Shay probably has like a 80% chance of winning it and Jaylen Williams at like 50 to 60% like you know around that range yeah Shay is still my number one but Shay is my number one currently still because Jaylen Williams did have a bad first two games like he they left my mans on the island for the first two games shay has been consistent pretty much outside of the one what was it game three he’s been pretty much when he had like 20 yeah which and and if your bad game is having 24 what the [ __ ] are we saying so yeah man i’m SCA uh we can leave it there Joe
