20-point game up top Bryant he’ll try his luck from three-point range and his luck is good Thomas Bryant knocks down a three magic carpet ride for the Pacers is not over an NBA title on Sunday night in game seven and it will be Oklahoma City’s turn to respond Tyrese you guys were facing elimination and respond with the beatd down Just what does that say about this scene yeah we just wanted to protect home court You know we didn’t want to see these guys celebrate a championship on our home floor backs against the wall and we just responded So many different guys chip in Uh total team effort Really proud of this group Coming into the game there were so many questions about your health and that calf strain Just how were you able to just battle through it tonight it’s the finals It’s the finals Like you know all of us got to give everything we have You know I I I give everything I have for this group in this locker room coach U just trying to come out here and play the best of my ability My guys have had my back all year and especially tonight and uh that means the world to me You look like yourself Just how does the leg feel uh it’s okay It’s okay Got a couple got a couple days now to take care of it get it right Um and be ready You know we got one game you know all all cards on the table Uh it’s going to be a lot of fun Describe the impact that TJ McConnell had on this game He’s unbelievable man He’s unbelievable Uh I don’t even have the words Uh he’s a great white hope you know that’s what we call him Uh but he’s just amazing Continues to get downhill put pressure on the defense and uh man he is uh he’s unbelievable Game seven how do you now go on the road where OKC has been so strong especially coming off of off of the loss How do you go there on the road and get India its first NBA championship yeah it’s about the margins Like it’s about re taking care of the ball and rebounding Those are the most important things Um you know you got to control the controllables and let the cards fall where they may Um you know it’s a one game series now and uh man we believe you know we got a lot of faith in this group So take care of our bodies get ready and uh game seven NBA finals What more can you ask for nothing else We’ll see you on Sunday First question over here on the front on one fifth seat There you go James Boyd the athletic Obie Can you explain what it’s like to play with TJ McConnell he gets the steal there in the first quarter You hit the three you hit a couple more after that but just that moment to kind of you know get you all back on track Uh it’s no surprise what TJ does out there Uh every time he comes into the game uh crowd loves him Uh and and he feeds off of that uh like he he had a great start to the game and it got us going brought juice into the game energy into the game and uh it’s been like that the whole game So uh feel like he was a big big uh part of this win today Rohan fourth Rohan NBC News Obie uh after game five the first thing Coach Carla wanted to talk about was turnovers and uh you know you guys reduced so significantly tonight Is there anything you guys saw on film the last couple days or any adjustments you feel like you made in that area to produce the number of turnovers tonight yeah like you just said we just watch film Um and and it tells us what we what we do Uh they they don’t put too many good good clips up on the film but uh like you said we just watched film and and had knew we had to be better today back row on the left What adjustments tonight do you think make the biggest difference to force the game seven uh just came in here with the energy we needed Uh we had the amazing crowd amazing fans best fans in the world uh who helped us through it throughout this whole game and um we just went out there and did what we had to do to get the win Standing on the left how you doing addition a lot of sports talk Congratulations Um a few years ago you had a chance to in a way play for a championship at least get into the NCAA tournament with a special Dayton Flyers team and that got taken away from you because of co Um are there similarities between that special team in 2020 and this team right now and uh take me through your emotions as you’re getting ready to play for a championship knowing that just a few years ago you had a special team and never got that chance Yeah Uh yeah that 2020 Dayton Day dating year was was definitely upsetting cuz we didn’t get to the to the tournament But uh we don’t know what what could have happened Uh that whole tournament I felt like we would have won uh if we if we play but um to have this opportunity playing at the highest stage Uh just finished game six in the NBA finals and going on to game seven Uh there’s not a lot of game sevens that happen So to have this opportunity to play in the game seven with this amazing team it’s a blessing and uh wouldn’t want to do it with any other team So other than the 2020 Dayton Flyers yes A second row straight ahead Valencia King Real Talk Sports Thank you for your time You mentioned not wanting to battle it out with any other team than that team or this one of course How would you describe the character of this team and even outside of the game of basketball how this group of guys helped you even outside of the game uh yeah we’re just super resilient Um and and we’re hungry Um uh we got a taste of what the Eastern Conference Finals uh was last year but uh we knew we could get back to back to the Eastern Conference Finals and to the finals this year And um like I said we’re just hungry We we all work extremely hard every single day to allow the success that we have And uh we’re not done We’re going to keep working Um got one more game Uh last game of the year coming up So uh going to look at the film get better and be prepared for game seven right here on the left John Herrick WIBC Uh OB it’s a two-parter One how much work goes into you putting in you got a lot of shots up in the pregame and clearly those shots were falling for you tonight and then also how much does last year’s experience of being down 3-2 against the Knicks where you guys came back and won How much does that help you this year knowing you’re going to do something similar yeah Uh that first question um I’m always in the gym getting shots up uh putting in that work uh just cuz I know the more work I put in the better I play out there on the on the floor when it matters Uh and second question I don’t even remember the second question What was it resilience Yeah Yeah Yeah Facts Um I mean we we had to go back to back to New York for game seven uh last year and uh got the job done but like I said we just a hungry team and and everybody wants to win but I feel like we wanted more Like we we want to go out there and and show the world we we won’t get as much of the as much love as everybody else in in this NBA world So we just try to go out there and and do it for everybody within this circle and and and that’s why that’s why we we love each other and have so much success So front roll in the center Hey Obie Zach Kefir with the Athletic Um you guys were one and four 10 and 15 Could you have envisioned this back then and if not when did you start to see the makings of a championship contender this season uh I mean from the beginning of the year uh like I said we had we had a little bit uh success success last year getting to the Eastern Conference Finals Uh but I knew I knew it was going to be a good year cuz nobody was excited for just getting to the Eastern Conference Finals Everybody knew we should have we we should have been in the finals Like we handed Boston a couple of wins and so uh to have this opportunity this year like like I said everybody worked extremely hard in the offseason and this whole year uh to be in the positions we’re we’re in now So last two questions front right and then the second row Jamal Collier from ESPN Uh Tyrese is out there toughing it out obviously on the injury Just kind of what how did he look out there to you and just what did it mean to y’all to have sort of playing through that I mean I I felt like he he did amazing today Um like he he led us to to a win and he’s a he’s a soldier Uh he he’s not going to let no little injury hold him back from from playing in the finals and and helping this team uh uh win Um he’s helped us get to this point and he’s gonna keep going until he can’t So Sam last question Second row Sam the athletic Obie you mentioned the feeling with the group at the beginning of the season What part did it play when you guys went to to Pascal’s place and spent those days you know spending that kind of when you went to Orlando yeah Yeah Yeah As far as setting the tone and and getting everybody in the the same kind of mindset just how meaningful was that experience yeah Uh super meaningful Um Pascal is great great guy Uh welcomed all of us with open arms into into his his space and um he’s been in this position before Like he he’s been in the finals He’s won the finals So he knows what it takes And he understood the team that we had last year we could have been in this position We could have been in the finals And so he he made us understand that we didn’t want to be happy just losing in the or losing in the um Eastern Conference Finals He he knew what it took to get here So he installed that in in all of our minds and knew what and we all knew what we had to do to to get to this point So worked all year to to be able to have this success Thank you Pocket Um the way I see it is we suck tonight We have to learn the lessons Um and we have one game for everything For everything we’ve worked for and so do today and uh the better team Sunday will win Second row Michael Jay Michael Granch from Sportsnet in Toronto Um you know you’ve been under pressure this whole series from them defensively tonight They were able to get into the ball with more success I guess than they’ve had You know did they do anything different the turnover numbers for you were unusually high Any explanation yeah they Yeah I don’t even know They just turned us over a bunch They um they didn’t pressure full court like they have been Um which led to more turnovers I I didn’t expect that but whatever it is they did it right Um and if we want to win on Sunday we got to take care of the ball Moral of the story Second row on the right Malikica Uh over here Malikica Andrews ESPN I’m going to follow up on that real quick and then a different um question but they they picked you up just much higher than they had been They were picking you up by like 60 feet in the first five games and from 39ish feet today Did you feel that difference was that maybe part of it that led to that um they were definitely lower on the pickups Um I’m not sure I like some of them I think it was just like carelessness and not being focused not being as engaged Um they played harder than us tonight as well And when a team plays harder they usually turn the other team over Um so it’s probably a combination of multiple things the NBA finals versus the second round but this series has so many similarities to the Denver series The other team goes up 2-1 This sort of game six let down Can you learn anything from your punch back there that you can apply here yeah I think the way like the way we felt in that series was it’s a three-3 series Z You have one game to advance and the better team will win Um and I think it’s the exact same thing Everything that’s happened in the series you try to learn from and you try to put it all together for one night and see where it takes you Third row Tim Shaded uh did you guys you individually did you feel the weight of the of the chance to clinch a championship tonight definitely in the back of our minds for sure Um no we didn’t play like it at all and that’s why the night went the way it did Um we got exactly what we deserved what we earned Um and we have to own that Mark Spears ESPN nscape Shay you played in one and out NCA tournament games Olympics What is this like can that time help you at all learning from that and also being who you are do you have to do you feel like you have to put a cape on to to ensure the championship um yeah all those experiences help me for sure The like one and done experiences do or die games Uh there there’s lessons from every game but those games in particular for sure are going to help And uh I don’t feel like I have to do anything other than just be the best version of myself Um and I think that goes for everyone else in the room We just have to bring what we bring to the table what we’ve brought to the table all year and bring it at our best Uh come Sunday First here Jenny Hey Shay Jenny Carlson with the Oklahoma Take me onto that bench in the fourth quarter You haven’t sat a lot of fourth quarters in situations like tonight where you guys are losing What’s sort of going through your mind and how does that how does that uh time you’re on the bench in the fourth go just mentally how you’re processing things uh thinking about what you could have did better or what I could have did better tonight Um also like watching the group on the floor was impressive They were great Um they haven’t played all series and then they go out there and play as hard as they did was inspiring and they were really good tonight Um kind of taught me a lesson And then um just trying to do everything I can everything I can learn from uh to get ready for the next game First question here right here on the right Joel Joel energy with the Oklahoma and Shay a little bit of a two-parter I think the broadcast caught you saying that Sunday’s for all the marbles I just I wonder how you’re viewing this opportunity and and sort of uh the the weight of it Um it’s one game for everything you ever dreamed of If you win it you get everything If you lose it you get nothing Um and it’s that simple Are you sensing any differences in the difficulty of closing out a finals versus closing out any other playoff series um no I see it as the same thing Like in round two if we had lost I would have been just as disappointed We would have went home and our season would have been over And if we lose season’s over in the wrong way So I either way I would have been extremely disappointed So I don’t think it’s much different Thank you

  1. OKC if you are reading this, I want you to know what suckers you are! You can't even beat Indiana with their injured leader! Neither you nor they are worthy of being champions, but you are simply a disgrace, let's lose the 7th game already, you worthless weaklings!

  2. This style of video really blossomed during the Finals, and I’m all for it. Clean visuals, sharp insights β€” it’s like the game evolved off the court too. Appreciate the work, keep it coming.

  4. Against OKC, Denver had a big win in game 6 just like the Pacers. BUT can OKC repeat its game 7 performance against Pacers?

  5. Although G-6 is very crucial for Pacers to STAY ALIVE, the Finale G-7, as a movie will be both the (!) and (.) at the same time. πŸ’₯πŸ’ͺ

  6. Will the nba let their new mvp lose a final ? stay tuned as we see another referee influenced game soon. it's a shame cause sga could be great, but the double standard in foul calling ruins his reputation.
