🚨NEW: Miami Heat CLOSE To Kevin Durant Trade per NBA Insider?
[Music] are the Miami Heat close to finalizing a Kevin Durant trade there is a report out there this morning that alludes to the fact Miami could be at the finish line of a KD trade and only really needs to do one more thing to really finalize this deal to land KD in the 305 before we showcase the quote in the report you would have seen it first over on my Twitter nuck_rolloff i’m talking about Miami Heat basketball the latest reports rumors everything over there so if you have a Twitter and want to be the most upto-date on Miami Heat basketball make sure you subscribe but you’re also going to want to follow me on Twitter for wall-to-wall coverage the report came in from Brett Seagull over at Clutch Point saying that although the two sides are not right at the finish line yet in trade talks one player can get them there that would be KL Wear a rookie standout in Miami’s front court who is a giant with his 7 foot4 wingspan and two-way potential if the Heat include wear in a revamp package to what they have already offered talks with the Suns will reach a whole new level as he is the player Phoenix wants in discussions with Miami another reason why you should follow me on Twitter is because I’ve been saying this for about a week now you can go back to my tweets from last week but I quote tweeted that report on Twitter and said this i’ve been saying it for the past week if the Heat were to include KL Wear in a deal with Phoenix KD would already be a member of the Miami Heat it is very clear we’ve talked about this at Nauseium the Suns want a center long term it’s been the thing holding up a lot of these discussions and a lot of people said “Well maybe we ropen Brooklyn as a third team and get Nick Claxton sent to Phoenix.” Well you wouldn’t have to do that if you included Khal Wear in the package for KD and the Suns were like “All right we finally got our center matching salary cool let’s ride we got our young piece we got matching salary plus maybe a solid player like Duncan or Wickeds the Robinson contract and help them get underneath the luxury tax too like it just makes a lot of sense for Phoenix to potentially jump in on that deal i know a lot of Miami Heat fans are very skeptical about trading Kel Wear for KD i’m going to stand firm on what I believe and I’m sorry if you disagree listen it’s a free country you can disagree i am fine trading Kel Wear as long as there is no draft capital involved as well for Kevin Durant i think Khal Wear has the potential to be a fabulous player in the NBA i do but here’s the truth of the matter in the next three years Katie Bam and um Hero have a better chance to win a title than the next decade of a K or of a We were wear Bam Hero big three like no offense I think Khal Wear is going to be a great center in the NBA and he’s going to be a great complimentary piece on the offensive end as well as a defensive end but to me I don’t see a potential to where he ultimately becomes a top two player on a championship contending team and I am fine giving that up for KD with the knowledge that I get to keep draft capital all of it for flexibility in the future but also could use some of that potentially to make more upgrades around KD Bam and Hero to make them more competitive for the next couple of seasons that is my line of thinking when it comes to be willing to offer wear for Kevin Durant so have you changed your stance i’ve stood firm on mine i would prefer to keep Kow Wear i want that clear i want to keep him but I would be willing to send him to Phoenix if it meant landing Durant and no draft capital having to be given up from Miami side type why if you are with me type N if you are against me i have two different trade packages for Kevin Durant i have one where I include where and I have one that I don’t and we’ll kind of explain my thought process here after I showcase both of them the first trade package I would put on the table for Phoenix is this one this is my preference i want this to be the package that ultimately lands Katie in Miami and if that trade happens I want this to be the notification I get from Shams that this is what the Heat are giving up yoic Wiggins Duncan and the 20th overall pick i know a lot of people don’t even want to give up Nicole Yoic and would be sad giving him up i would be as well but you have to understand to get a player of Katie’s caliber you’re going to have to give up something more than a draft pick and salary and that would have to be Nicole Yovic so this is my first trade package this is my preference if they say no to that and we’re like we’re never doing this deal and I was like all right I’ll counter here is my second trade package for KD it’s also my final offer so if you say no to number one I’ll offer you number two but this is as far as it goes it’s Wiggins Duncan and Khal Wear so I am taking out Yovic i’m taking out a first round pick and just replacing it with Wear because if I’ll be frank here with how good Wear was as a rookie I think his value around the league is almost similar to a 20th overall pick and Nola Yoic especially with Yovic being extension eligible in the next couple of off seasons i think this is a fair offer from both sides and that would be my final offer so in summary of what I would be offering for KD I want Durant in Miami i think he would be awesome and I think he would help bring interest back to Heat Basketball but I am not offering anything more than these two if you say no to Yoic package and I was like “All right fine i’ll offer you the Kaware one.” And you say no to that it’s like “All right I’m moving on.” Like I’ll leave them on the table in case they want to come back and say “All right we didn’t get anything else we liked we’ll take one of these two.” Cool but I would not add anything to that collarware package i would not add anything to the Nicola Yoic le package those are my two offers you can choose which one you prefer but take it or leave it when a Kevin Durant trade happens we will have you covered whether it’s to a different team or to Miami comes to the Heat we’re going live on the channel so subscribe today we’re 112 away from reaching 23K let’s get to 23K for Michael Jordan the Heat retired his number i don’t know why but I kind of respect it kind of don’t either way let’s get there 112 away i wanted to use the back half of this video to explore a fun hypothetical because we really haven’t done much of this at all we’ve talked about what could be a pivot option if the Heat don’t land KD and like are they going to get KD we’ve done a lot of that over the last week and a half but what happens with the Heat if they actually did trade for Kevin Durant what moves could be coming after the fact well let’s just say in this pure hypothetical second half of this video that for this experiment the Suns ultimately accept the first KD package I had where it’s Yoic a first Wiggins and Duncan Robinson so no picking 20th overall no more Yoic no more Wiggins no more Duncan Robinson so your roster would look like this you have Tyler Hero BAM KD still got Kel Wear got Haime Rosier Pel Larson Kyle Anderson Haywood Highmith Kashad Johnson you also have Kevin Love and you also have DaVon Mitchell who would be a restricted free agent but you are likely going to resign him or match any contract in free agency so those would be the 12 players you have on your roster which means you can fill up to three spots on your roster you go up to 15 but most teams keep around 14 to the beginning of the regular season so I would look at potentially adding two more players to this roster and when you look at what that roster would have if that trade was accepted the two things that Miami would need in a very glaring fashion is perimeter shooting and a backcourt partner for Tyler Herro i would probably argue you would probably look to try to find a backup center as well you can find one maybe on the Vetmin market maybe one of those guys that would go ring chasing would love to play in Miami behind Bamware KD and company you can also just rotate um a front court of Katie’s always at the four he could play with Bam and wear and it could just be Katie and wear Katie and Bam Bam and where when Katie sits down so maybe you wouldn’t even need a backup center and you could just have a free flowing rotation with those threes um but either way a starting guard next to hero and a perimeter shooter is what you need so let’s enter Mr colin Saxton i think this would be the most ideal outcome for Miami if they landed KD that’s realistic by the way because I know a lot of people are gonna say John Moran or Trey Young that’s not realistic i don’t think they could pay KD Bam Hero and Trey or Jaw and I don’t really think the fit is that good either if we’re going to be Frank Ston’s fit to me is there he’s 6’3 he is an absolute dog he’s capable to play off the ball like he did a little bit last season in Utah he’s capable to play on the ball which could transition Hero back to a little bit of his offball role you have two people that can handle the ball on ball and be a secondary ball handler as well and Sexton and Hero and Sexton has got that dog in him man he competes at an extremely high level has shot extremely efficient from beyond the ark over the last three seasons he gets into the paint as well and he does not back down from any competition i really like Colin Ston i know a lot of Heat fans have liked the idea of adding him to this roster for a while he’s on a one-year $18.8 million expiring contract so he’s not expensive and it does not bind you to him so if it doesn’t work you can then just say “Okay he’s an expiring we’ll take that money off the books.” So here is what I would offer to the Utah Jazz after remember we already traded uh Yoic Wiggins Duncan in a first so what I’d be willing to give up is Terry Rosier Himemehz Jr two second round picks in 2026 and 2027 to get Colin Ston and then KJ Martin who is on a one-year $8.6 million expiring um just as a throwin to help match salary don’t think the Utah Jazz have any uh long-term plans with KJ so maybe he could be an end of the bench rotation guy for Miami throughout the regular season and not really be anything in a playoff rotation um but you get rid of Rosir’s expiring which could be valuable to Utah they get a young player and Hz to kind of sweeten the deal as well as some more second round picks to help them just kind of have more draft capital if you will i think it’s a fair uh deal i don’t think an expiring Colin Ston is going to net them any crazy return so an expiring salary a interesting young guy in two seconds I think is a good enough package to pry Sexton away from Utah let me know would you trade for Colin Ston you could honestly answer this alongside a KD trade or just separate like maybe the Heat go out and grab a Demard Rosen and a Colin Ston would I like it no would the Heat be better maybe but either way would you trade for Colin Sexton type T for trade or type P for pass i think Colin Saxon would just really thrive on a contending team that’s playing in the postseason we’ve seen him kind of rotting away in Utah over the last three seasons and I think he would be just really good for a team competing because he’s got that mentality to where he just won’t back down he wants to just get in your grill is he the best defender no but he will give you maximum effort he can shoot it he can score it i think he works next to Hero he would thrive in a 16g game setting like the NBA playoffs and if you resign DaVon Mitchell like I would anticipate them doing a point guard rotation of DaVon and Ston would be just so fun to watch you have Hero more to his natural offball guard uh role and now we’re really cooking with gas and I mentioned the Heat would have to probably add two people to the roster a backcourt partner for hero and a perimeter shooter well my final move would be signing Luke Canard in free agency we’ll see the order of operations here but the Heat do have right now the non-taxpayer mid-level exception which takes you up to about $14 million on AAV they can also just sign someone for eight or nine million they can also give the taxpayer midlevel where they get a $5.1 million contract bringing in Luke Canard on one of those deals probably closer to the $5 million or $8 million range would make a lot of sense to me canard is just an absolute sniper like just a ridiculously good shooter shot 43.3% last season for the Memphis Grizzlies off the bench he’s a career 43.3% three uh shooter on four and a half attempts by the way and a couple of those years in Los Angeles before he went to the Memphis Grizzlies he shot 48 and 49% from three on five and six attempts just absolutely ridiculous i think he’s one of the most consistent three-point shooters in the NBA decent size to him and if you’re trading Duncan Robinson in that KD package then you’re going to need a shooter off the bench luke Canard could fill that void perfectly so to me trading for KD adding Colin Ston KJ Martin Luke Canard resigning DaVon Mitchell fall up top let’s check it up let’s compete next year i’m ready for it when the KD News officially drops like I said we’ll have you covered no matter of the outcome so hit that sub button and Would you trade Kel’el Ware for KD? Type ‘Y’ for Yes or ‘N’ for No
Y – Keep the picks
Kd has avg at least 25 on 50/40/90 over the last 3 years. His issue is he hasn’t had a solid team, or chemistry around him in Brooklyn or phoenix. The heat don’t have that problem
Your headphones are longterm
Dude why would you give up a good center for a old playar
get it done pat! lets go!
Tyler, Bam and Herro is equal to what Durant already has in Pheonix with Booker and Captain injury prone. Keeping Ware is a must. Bam doesn't want to be a Center. Enough if this small ball shit
Davion Mitchell, Herro, Bam KD and Ware is dangerous
Well give the Suns Dexter Pitman. It’s a no for Ware
Look at all the teams in the finals. Their best player is under 27 years old. This teams needs to rebuild not get older.
If they trade Wade for a 37 year old KD or not I am out on this team
According to Ernie .. Jimmys boy it isn’t ware .. I wonder why he would know
I'm intrigued by the idea of getting Collin Sexton
It's game 7 of the finals he not getting traded this weekend and if we continue until next week with this It's not happening simple
I like Collin sexton solid player
Oh god here we go again
Y
I can't get with putting ware in a kd deal. Too young, too much potential. I get keeping the pick but kryptonians don't grow on trees
Y
Noooo!!
I'm fine getting KD but trading a 20 year old Ware for a 37 year old KD Fuck No!!!
Rolly will u take dih for KD?
Miami could add a piece next year or 2 and add high profile player.. ware and bam is a good foundation
I agree, either jovic or ware but not both
You do not give up one of the best young center, you are a fool. Thin about what you are saying. You do not know basketball and not telling truth
Still stand on my stance. Sending Ware into the package for potentially a retiring KD in a year or two is stupid.
Suns aren’t trading KD to anyone else right now. I would hold up. We lose KD, wouldn’t be the first time and we move onto someone that can help.
N
N
Get rid of KL now!
Hell Nah!!!!!!!!
Would you please stop pretending we need ANOTHER shooting guard. Put Robinson in there and we have 4. As a Suns fan I can only hope/wish for Ware and Jovic.😅😅😅😅
I would tell the suns you want ware fine but the trade is terry, duncan, & ware. Keep wiggins as a good rotation piece to make a run
Durant is not going to win us a championship.
