[Music] today we’re here for Ashner’s joint day of service at Ark of Greater New Orleans we’re here with Pierre Joe Dumar and we’re going to be be recycling today be recycling is really important to our organization because it generates revenue for us but it’s also important to the city because everything that’s donated to us is something that somebody was going to throw away and would have wound up in a storm drain or on the street somewhere or in a landfill so we’re making use of product that would have gone into the trash anyway look I think it’s I think it’s really important to have a great product on the floor the team should look really good on the floor but also you really want your team out in the community uh connecting with people if you’re asking people to come out support you then you should really get out and support the people and that’s what we’re doing here today [Music]
The New Orleans Pelicans and Saints staff members teamed up with Ochsner to host a joint Day of Service on Saturday, May 31, 2025. New Orleans Pelicans Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations Joe Dumars volunteered with employees to sort and repackage Mardi Gras Beads at Arc Greater New Orleans.
