so could the Atlanta Hawks be trading away Trey Young to the Sacramento Kings this 2025 NBA off seasonason well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeawayorld.net the link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Sacramento Kings receiving Trey Young and the Atlanta Hawks receiving Zack Lavine a 2026 first round pick and a 2027 second round draft pick so my initial thoughts are that this is actually a pretty reasonable and fair trade for both sides but for different reasons so if for the Sacramento Kings you would be getting a little bit younger in this deal by acquiring uh Trey Young you would of course as well uh be kind of making up for the whole left by De’aran Fox uh who they traded to the Spurs last season so uh this would be a nice upgrade for them at the point guard position but I think them having a big three of Trey Young Damontes Sabonis and Demar De Rozan could definitely make this team good enough to make the playoffs next year and not just in that play game conversation so I do think that Trey Young offensively speaking brings a bit of an element to this team that they don’t currently lack uh but it’s a little bit uh different of a look for them in regards to how this team would be deployed so I think Trey Young going to Sacramento with some with some you know good older players some good veterans like uh Damon Sabonis and of course Demar D Rozan this could be a pretty cool fit for him at the end of the day now for the Atlanta Hawks their team’s pretty good as well it’s a little bit deeper than Sacramento’s uh and of course they would be kind of getting rid of Trey Young and ending that era but this team has some pretty good young talents like they have Zachary Rishes uh he’s a talented player he could definitely have a bright future in this league uh they have Dyson Daniels he could be an absolute beast especially defensively speaking one of the best in the league uh they have Jaylen Johnson as well people forget about him he was injured last year this guy could be a stud in this league so the Hawks have what it takes to be an elite team in the Eastern Conference next year i think adding Zack Lavine is a very consistent thing for them to do uh he’s a veteran player um he’s good offensively speaking as well plus you’re getting draft capital uh draft capital out of this so this is a pretty good trade for all sides i think that at the end of the day I would probably rather take the Hawks trade in this scenario are they getting back an equally talented player plus draft capital which is a pretty big time win in my books also too with the Eastern Conference next year I think the Hawks in this in this scenario would be more likely to make the playoffs compared to the Sacramento Kings but those are just my thoughts leave yours down below
