you’ve kind of had this journey in in your career that like almost almost kind of parallels all the places that people say KD should go Yeah I guess some of them Yeah some of the destinations and I wonder in your mind you know where he fits best Uh there’s a case to be made for a lot of a couple places I mean San Antonio is a good fit because at his age he wants a place that will take care of his body right Yeah and they have pieces that they can give up without giving up their core So does Houston Houston probably has the most to give up without having given up their core Uh the only tough situation is Pop is not there in San Antonio He’s a different coach I think it would be best for him if Pop you know was there Yeah Of course Miami with Spo Yeah and Pat Riley like they have a good you know professional foundation to where they know how to lead the group They don’t need the players to do it as much So who’s closest with his addition to like being like the most competitive I think Houston probably they was number two seed in the West Yeah And they have a lot They said they can keep a lot to add him that adds a closer a conversation that Stephen A Smith started He’s saying that listen he’s saying people don’t want to go to Memphis because it’s dangerous Like it’s a gang gang over there right Yeah I mean he’s not far off I don’t think that’s the reason why I just don’t think it’s a a destination city You know Nashville is one of the cities that people enjoy Memphis it is in Tennessee so you get a tax cut like it’s good on taxes Um but it’s just not a city that’s pretty I guess You played there Do you get that danger vibe Nah In certain areas um you got to be careful But I I didn’t think it was like the most dangerous I also played in Philly Right Right Exactly There’s so many cities in America like I think Yeah said if they know you they respect you if you know what you’re doing know where you where you’re going Obviously don’t do silly things So go in certain places by yourself at certain times of day or night but the city usually respects the players Um but yes you do have to be careful and that’s in most cities There’s always a hood in most cities There’s always a danger in most cities but uh I think the the reason why is because it’s not a pretty city and they’re also not the top of the west anymore a city that was winning and that was like a destination but they’re kind of you know figuring a lot of things out and uh it’s not a it’s not a pretty city

Stephen A. Smith sparked quite the controversy after claiming NBA players avoid signing with the Grizzlies due to safety concerns in Memphis … and while Danny Green says the talking head “isn’t far off” with his take, he tells TMZ Sports it’s more so due to the fact it’s “not a pretty city” in general.
