Draft, Sign, AND Trade โ€” the Chicago Bulls RELOAD in EPIC Fashion! ๐Ÿ€๐Ÿ‚๐Ÿ”ดโšซ ReBulled #11

welcome to another episode of Just Another Year’s Chicago Bulls my name is Philip Charles Vanderhayen IVth and we’re here with Rebold episode 11 y’all that’s right Snake Eyes on this episode we will be going over a trade with the Charlotte Hornets i know familiar but listen they’re a disaster and they’re ripe for the picking and then we have fresh to this episode an NBA mock draft i’ll be showing you how the lottery plays out and our pick and I’ll be signing a free agent on this episode of Just Another of the Year Chicago Bulls if you love our new Rebolt series hit that like button i got to be honest guys i had no idea that this series was going to be as big of a thing as it is uh the support has been amazing and I really appreciate you guys i know that there’s a lot of you that just tune in and watch and don’t comment i want to let you all know I appreciate every single one of you all right so we’re rising up the Hornets baby i know i know man listen these guys just have players that make sense for everybody whether it’s LaMelo Ball or Mark Williams or whoever else they’re just a ripe trade partner and they’re a mess so it’s very easy to to you know do the mental gymnastics to get myself there on their end as long as I’m giving them back anything that could help them in the future it makes sense because they’re going nowhere fast extremely fast so in this episode I decide to get back a big man the one time I’ve acquired Mark Williams i did not give them Vousvich and I included a third team to make that happen so this time we changed that i’m going to give them Vousvich i’m also going to give them everyone i’m uh shedding a tear right now uh IO Dunmu and Javon Carter who I’m not shedding a tier for we’re going to receive back Grant Williams Josh Green and Mark Williams i believe that actually might be the same trade package I received back in Rebuild one here’s what I’m doing this time to justify why there they did not get Vousvich last time i gave them Zack Collins so this that’s a much better big man in return sorry VC not going to go to a contender i mean who knows they if they were healthy they’d have Brandon Miller LaMelo Ball and Nicole Vousvich what I thought is that I Dumu makes a lot of sense for them i feel like LaMelo Ball could really use another ball handler/playmaker i feel like I Dumu checks the box for them he would fit in real nicely next to LaMelo ball it could it could allow LaMelo to do some more offball scoring io would be getting it in io’s also very good with Vousvich they’ve had a very nice connection as a as a team as a tandem and so you can justifiably reason that okay now you put IO next to Lamelo Bal and Brandon Miller and then you know you’re hoping that Saloon um I believe that’s his last name uh you hope he pans out maybe you throw him in there alongside Vousvich i mean otherwise maybe you go double big with Nerkich and Vousvich i don’t know all I’m saying is that this trade package would I believe work yes we’re getting back the best player but we’re giving them arguably the next two best and not even arguably Vousvich and IO are definitely better than Grant Williams and Josh Green and I’m going to say that we’re giving them a 2027 unprotected first round pick so in two years I’m just going to just throw that in there um maybe even 2026 what we’re not doing is giving them pick 12 this year we’re not doing it so it also passed my test of not affecting the the Hollinger analytics and even if it did be I would reason that the Hornets are really trying to tank and this this would really help them for the future also because they’re getting Grant Williams and Josh Green off of their books a year early because I’m giving them three expiring contracts so yes they’re going to probably want to resign IO that’s up to them but they’re going to let Vu and Javon walk or whatever they do at the end of their seasons um and then Vu you probably have to go sign with someone in free agency if you want to play for a contender but I want to know would you want want Mark Williams on the Bulls ah you got to be slapping that yes button i I would say okay if you’re worried about the trade I’m sorry about injuries i could see that i could see why that would matter but Mark Williams like the juice is worth the squeeze man like he’s a great basketball player he’s a rim protector he’s long as hell he’s He’s got a 7 foot6 wingspan he’s He’s a legitimate sevenfooter he He measured 72 in shoes i don’t I never knew of shoes that could give you two inches but he must really be on that cusp of being 7 foot one so he’s a legitimate sevenfooter with length he’s young he’s He is literally exactly what we need like if I’m a Bulls GM right now I’m looking if I can’t get Mark Williams I’m looking for Mark Williams that’s why I like Kan Maluatch so much in this draft a legitimate sevenfooter with length who’s athletic who’s going to get up and down the court and has a a a ceiling that they’re not even close to reaching yet because Mark Williams has not played his best basketball yet and he never had injury concerns before he got to the NBA i’ll tell you what there’s something wrong down there in Charlotte those boys are always hurt so I mean it happened to Brandon Miller last year happened to Mark Williams happens to LaMelo Ball nobody wants to play in Charlotte and I’m sorry IO for doing that to you because I do love you hopefully you can go play somewhere where you’re valued in a year but I want to know from you guys would you want Mark Williams on the Bulls yes or no let me know in the comments and we could talk about why if you’d like but otherwise just throw a Y for yes or an N for no all right so free agency signing new to these videos now I’ve done free agency signings before and I’ve done but I what I haven’t done is a mockdraft simulator so I’ve used Fanspose mockdraft simulator to play out the lottery and I will always show you guys how the lottery shakes out who I selected and the only time I won’t do it is if I feel like I had to trade away number 12 in order to get back whoever I got in in the trades so anyways I think that B bowl and it’s the second time I think I’ve given us him maybe the third i love him guys because he’s so low risk you’re talking about a guy you could sign for probably $5 million like and I know you might say “Okay well Phil if he’s able to be got for f you know for only um that amount of money how could he be any good?” As a starter he had some incredible games last season um as a best bowl games 2024 25 here real quick i can look that up for us like BB Bowl when he got minutes last year there was a game against the Pelicans where he went for 25 points three rebounds two assists and two blocks he was nine to 12 from the field and five of eight from three-point range okay then against the Grizzlies two days earlier February 26th 23 points eight rebounds one assists two blocks shot eight of 11 from the field two of four from three five of six from the free throw line then against uh these are all games in February and in the beginning of March all of these and that’s why this stretch is what sold me on BB Bowl as a potential piece for the Bulls this summer he did against the Grizzlies he went for 18 points 14 rebounds two assists and four blocks then against the Nuggets 19 points seven rebounds one assist four blocks then against the Timberwolves nine points 11 rebounds three assists well this is what I think BB Bowl is actually capable of if he’s given a significant role now look I’m not in the locker rooms this guy is clearly for some reason he can’t get a consistent role on a team he’s a six-year veteran he’s being paid the minimum like he he made two point something million dollars last year he keeps coming back on one-year deals like when this guy is dro like when he can drop games with 23 points eight rebounds and two blocks or 18 points 14 rebounds and four blocks and those were against the Grizzlies like those last two stat stat lines like a good playoff team so that’s when I’m like look there’s something there there’s something in B Bowl that can that can produce he does tend to get overhyped by his fans i guess he has a bad work ethic or something there’s something that’s about Bull that’s preventing him from getting on the floor but maybe with the Bulls in Chicago he would change his tune we’re a legitimate franchise with a storied history we have a chance with an upand cominging young team he could be with a point guard and Josh Giddy and Lonzo Ball who can get him the ball in primary in in likable scoring situations and he’s just a part of something real like a real rebuilding effort part of a rebuild so I just feel like there’s something there and you can get him for if you have to out bid you could out bid teams for at $5 million nobody’s going to take him if you you can probably I would go and sign him to a three-year deal $5 million on average because what’s the harm this dude is going to not be good and then he cost you $5 million that’s a drop that’s a tear in the bucket that’s nothing or he balls out for you now you’ve got this dude a 7 foot3 player with a 7 foot6 wingspan and the and the skill set of a small forward who’s costing you nothing and he’s coming off your bench and wiping people out you’re not even asking him to be a starter you’re asking him to come off the bench anyways that is my argument for Bull Bull would you sign Bull as a backup for a $5 million a year average why for S and for no i’d love to talk about your feelings on Bull i understand why he has skeptics out there but when you’re talking about signing a guy for that little amount of money and there’s so much upside as opposed to so little risk I don’t see why not you guys i really don’t like he can legitimately play the three for you now maybe he can’t guard the other three what I’m saying is that his skill set he’s got a he has a handle he’s got he’s got some guard skills as a 7 foot3 player i’m just very intrigued by BB Bowl and I love him on the Bulls but here we go for our first mock draft as a Rebold uh as part of the Rebold series so you obviously see I’ve outlined the Bulls pick i went through and this is all random by the way like it’s using fan spose mock draft simulator i I I have heard great things everything I researched says it’s a great thing now it has Cooper flag going number two overall listen I don’t know what the what the dynamic was there maybe that happens i mean the Mavericks have done insane things before this would be incredibly insane and also Cooper Flag with Victor Wamyama is not fair and that shouldn’t be allowed but I uh I digress at least they’re in the West but this is how the board fell for me so there are certain guys like Maluatch and Trey Johnson who I love as a guard and Derek Queen uh who are gone at this point right so to me I was I had it between four guys for this first and I’m going to get creative with these i’m not always going to select the same guy i’m going to select different guys and give you arguments as to why they would fit on that particular team with this team I felt that it was between Fleming Asa Newwell Thomas Sorber and I I feel like there was one more but I’m not remembering off hand danny Wolf maybe um I liked Fleming the best for this version of the Bulls because Fleming is he’s got also a 7 foot five wingspan he’s a 6’9 player but he’s he’s Matas Buselis like he’s he’s just got that skill set that is extremely similar like he’s he could put the ball on the floor he’s not that great at passing but he’s not bad at it either but he’s a he’s the best shooting big man in the draft he shot over 30 I I believe it was 30 something% off the top of my head from three i think it was like 39% from three he’s 6’9 but like I said he’s got a 7 foot five wingspan and the dude just is a baller if you watch him play I like him a lot more as a four though and that’s why I took him because this Chicago Bulls team is going big you guys we’re going wingspan wingspan wingspan and I will show you exactly why because all right first of all we got a 6’8 point guard in the lineup a 6’8 point guard then we got Kobe White 6’4 or 6’5 I can’t remember which at the two who’s a that’s a pretty decent size two but then you got Matas Bzelis at the three who is a 6’10 dynamic player who can yam on anybody and has point forward capabilities and then you have yes he only has a six foot 10 wingspan but everybody knows that he has elite defensive instincts he was top 15 in blocks per 36 minutes last year among the entire NBA then you got Rashir Fleming who yes I’m starting off the bat because I believe in that i know it probably wouldn’t happen but we’ll just say that this is what the end of the year Chicago Bulls lineup would look like whatever he’s got a 7 foot five wingspan and he’s an he’s dynamic he can he could drive he could shoot he’s a great offensive player and he has defensive versatility that you would hope can improve in uh with that length that he has he would fit well in Billy Donovan switching scheme and then you have Mark Williams another 7 foot6 wingspan player then you also have Bull off your bench now guess what 7 foot6 wingspan you have three players on your team two of them starting who have a 7 foot five wingspan or longer not including your 6’10 small forward who was top 15 in blocks per 36 minutes or your 6’8 point guard who’s literally like just he he outrebounded Vousvich last year after the All-Star break this is a big team you still have Zack Collins and Jaylen Smith off the bench behind Bowl like you are so well suited for injury here because you are again the face of positionless basketball this team fits it the only the only player that can’t play three positions is probably Mark Williams like it’s incredible like what this team would be able to do grant Williams and Josh Green were just throwins but again I reiterate Josh Green is a versatile defender and he is from Australia gives Josh Giddy one of the boys from back home to talk to and bond with and then Grant Williams is a great veteran leader for the locker room he wouldn’t be there to play he would be there to just lead and help these young Bulls progress into their into the you know roles that they would um like to be in when they’re at their full potential because Grant Williams has been to the finals he’s a great veteran he’s I think the vice president of the NBA players association he would fit well with this young locker room i think he’s the kind of guy that you bring in you’re like “Hey I know you’re not going to play you’re not here for that you’re here to help our guys you know reach the next level.” So I think this team rules man i know I say this every time but I’m never going to put together a team that I don’t believe in and I always like to and I I’m always going to argue basketball theory for why I think that they’re good it’s going to be hard once I want to get to the end of the offseason and then I’m going to do a March Madness style rebold where I where we all collectively decide which was the best Chicago Bulls team and so this one has a shot to be number one at the end of the day it’s feasible under the salary cap it’s acceptable um from a mock draft simulator point of view i love Rash Rashir Fleming’s potential he’s a little bit older at 21 but I’m ready for a guy that’s a little more developed and that’s why I like Rashir Fleming too the Chicago Wingspans were born on this day and that’s just me being goofy because our wingspan is inc like this might be the longest team in the NBA i don’t know that for sure but this version of the Bulls is stupid long seriously they’re freakishly long i had to make a point on that because it’s it’s incredible to have three players with a wingspan of 7 foot five or longer like that’s not normal to my knowledge in the NBA get big or get out of the way of these Chicago Bulls the only thing I’ll say is that the Mark Williams trade will cost draft capital and that’s why I said I’d give them the 2026 or 2027 unprotected first i might even be willing to give them an unprotected first and then maybe like a top eight protected the next year um something of that nature because I believe in Mark Williams and if you can get Mark Williams without giving up Kobe White I think that your team just got very very good like this team has everything it takes you could see this team in my opinion in three years being a finals contender especially if Matas Buzzel becomes the player I believe he is but that’ll do it for this episode of Just Another Year Chicago Bulls i also wanted to note I don’t know if anyone noticed but I figured out I unlocked a new way to set up my camera so I’m able to be more in the picture i’m not just looking like a down here so you know let me know if that was an improvement to you guys i would love to know if that makes a difference for you but until next time my name is Philip Charles Vanderhen 4th here with daily optimistic Chicago Bulls content for just another year Chicago Bulls and I am seeing red more than ever baby let’s go
