i wanted to ask you Shelley what does the ninth overall pick in this year’s draft get you if you’re a Toronto Raptor uh right now I mean it sounds like they’re trying to offer that number nine pick with some other stuff to uh Does that end quickly get you Kevin Durant is that what I saw so the Kevin Durant thing is is interesting right because again I would not touch it with a 10-ft pole no but here’s the thing right all the Kevin Durant stuff just comes down to where he wants to go right right and to me I think like we know that he doesn’t want to come to Toronto right like he wants to go to a place where he can win and Kevin Durant joining the Raptors i don’t think that puts him over the top right like and also is Brandon Ingram in that deal right because you’re having Kevin Durant beside Brandon Ingram like and you’re gonna have to pay Kevin Durant for three or four more years that’s the crazy thing like all these teams even like I look at San Antonio and what they might have to give up to get him you have such a good young uh nucleus there already with all of this draft capital why would you want to give that up to pay Kevin Durant for three more years he’s already one of the oldest players in the league i know he’s a buck i know he can get it when he wants and and he would be a very valuable piece but man if I was San Antonio I would I would steer clear i think Houston would make more sense to have to to get Kevin Durant because of what they can give up and what they already have but I don’t know man it’s it’s tough right and the rumors are basically it’s Houston San Antonio and then Minnesota with I saw a a report yesterday saying that Phoenix wants Minnesota but Durant doesn’t really want to go to Minnesota and it’s it’s a weird fit but also Durant doesn’t want to go jump on with Ant do you know what I mean also Miami is in the mix as well like I could see him going to Miami not that that makes Miami great but like it’s a good place to go play if you’re Kevin Durant right and it’s in the East right and the East is is really weak next year with Tatum being out and no one know what’s going on with Embiid so you might be able to you might be able to make a little bit of a run there in the East that’s why if I’m Durant I might look at Miami a lot more and just think that hey if I’m able to get to Miami you still have Bam you still have Tyler Herro okay can you kind of figure out patchwork the rest of the roster and like figure something out in the East where again like the Detroit Pistons were what the six seed last year do you know what I mean like so or the fifth seed were they but my my point is like the East is wide open and so if I’m Durant and I’m looking around because I feel like Kevin Durant also might be thinking do I want to go to Ant’s team do I want to go to Wemb’s team you know what I mean and maybe that’s why Houston might end up being the answer because you know there’s not that alpha there yes right and it it would be clearly he his squad him and Shenon and Fred and and and
