so could the Memphis Grizzlies be trading away Jaw Morant to the Houston Rockets this 2025NBA off seasonason well here on the screen is a trade proposal or a trade idea from fadeaway world.net the link to this article is down below in case you want to go ahead and check it out for yourself but this trade would see the Houston Rockets receiving John Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies receiving Jaylen Green Cam Whitmore the number 10 overall draft pick this year and a 2029 firstround draft pick so if the Houston Rockets are unable to land Kevin Durant this off season I fully do expect them to pivot to the next best player available on the trade market and with the following trade of Desmond Bane going to the Magic a couple days ago now John Morant or Jiren Jackson Jr could very well be the next player uh to be dealt this off season so I think John going to Houston’s pretty polarizing uh John Morant’s a legit top scoreer that this Houston Rockets team desperately needs in my opinion uh this team’s coached pretty well uh they’re definitely more defensive minded in my opinion uh they have some good pieces to surround Jarant with so in this scenario uh they retain players like Jabari Smith uh they of course retain Thompson Sangun etc so I think adding Jarant to this mix is a pretty awesome move for them he fits the timeline a lot better as well uh compared to Kevin Durant now this team in Houston wants to win a championship now and I think John Miranda is sort of the best of both worlds there where he helps him in the short term but also the long term if this group can remain together now from the Grizzlies perspective if you’re able to get back Jaylen Green Cam Whitmore the 10th overall draft pick this year and a future first round draft pick that is an absolute steal in my opinion like John Moran’s been healthy tremendous player the only question mark in the kind of risk here with this trade is John Moran’s health moving forward and his availability on a consistent basis so if you’re the Rockets it’s a bit of a gamble for them and they are paying a pretty good price for them uh so if you’re the Memphis Grizzlies and you want to go into a full-blown rebuild after that um Desmond Bane trade if you’re getting two more draft picks you know one of which being the 10th the 10th overall draft pick this year Jaylen Green is a superstar in the making as well as Cam Whitmore that is an awesome move for the Grizzlies to make in my opinion so um I think if I had to pick a winner of this deal I’m actually going to side with the Memphis Grizzlies in this scenario but as always leave your thoughts
